As first-time boat renters, we feel we were taken advantage of. We were charged for a new…read morepropeller, even though the boat didn't seem right from the moment we left the marina. It had noticeable vibrations the entire time, but as new renters, we had no idea that wasn't normal. It's very possible the propeller was already cracked before we took the boat out. At some point while we were boating, a piece apparently came off, but we had no way of knowing that had happened. When we asked about the age or history of the propeller, they refused to provide any information. They were also unwilling to negotiate or consider that the damage may have existed before our rental. My advice to anyone renting from them: inspect the boat carefully before leaving, take detailed photos and videos of the propeller and the entire boat, and return to the marina immediately if you notice anything unusual. Otherwise, you may end up being held responsible for damage you didn't cause. In our experience, the boats appear to be fairly worn, so documenting their condition before your rental is essential. I would not continue to pursue this matter if I believed, even for a moment, that we had caused the damage. If I thought we were responsible, I would accept that responsibility. I am only asking that Indian Point Marina fairly consider the possibility that a pre-existing condition or structural weakness existed before our rental and that this possibility be acknowledged as part of its evaluation of this claim.

Room , breakfast , shuttles and discounted entrance to Top of the Rock , and Native American history museum. Excellent adventure everything was gorgeous, museum , lodges. Top of the Rock was incredible. All we had to remember was to say no on sales pitch , but off was a fun experience.

The boats they show on the website are not the boats that you may get!! Beware of the bait and switch that they have going on here...at least with us. They advertise the pontoon boats are HP and will go over 40 miles per hour. Not in our case. The boat had a lot of broken parts and seats with holes & tears in them. It had a sticker that said 225 HP but the motor on the boat was a 150 and must have been ancient as well. We would of returned it once we saw how lame it was but we had family from two different states that came in for the Labor Day weekend to spend one day together on the lake and there were no other boats available that day so we just stuck it out. When we returned it and told the lady about the bad experience she just said we took that boat out yesterday and it was going 40-45 miles an hour! She also said you should of brought it back right away....but like I told her we wouldn't have gotten to be on the lake at all with family if I would of done that. She didn't offer a refund or partial refund or hardly an apology. They give you lots of lectures about bringing the boat back clean and in good shape but when they give you a boat that hasn't even been wiped down.... you feel pretty cheated. There were food stains and some kind of liquid splattered all around the boat and dirt that had been there for months and months. very badly stained carpet that was old as well. I would definitely recommend renting from them and enjoying the other side of the lake where it is not so busy. Renters be aware that they do not rent tubes but do have them for sell (for a price) at the marina. This is not overly apparent on their website so I thought it worth mentioning. Life jackets are provided with the boat, however, which is nice in comparison to other marinas where you have to rent them. All I all, we had a great experience and hope to rent from them again in the future.

Instead, they went out of their way to pick us up at another marina in Missouri and drive us down to their place to fill out the paperwork. We loved the boat we had! (This was the second time we rented from them.) Great price! Had a tube for our rental as well which was perfect and lots of fun! The people were so nice and friendly. Once we were done for the day, they finished off our paperwork and dropped us back off at our vehicle at the other marina. When we spoke with workers at the other marina, they even had nothing but wonderful things to say about Cricket Creek Marina! That is how you know they are doing a great job - your competitors have nothing but nice things to say about you! You won't go wrong by taking your business to these amazing people! Your vacation will be smooth sailing throughout your experience with them!

It had two playground areas that I could see. One was just swings and the other was a playground (slides, etc.). There were plenty of picnic tables and BBQ's. There is a designated "beach" area that is sandy. This time of year - July - the water was pretty warm and clear. We did not swim in the water - next time we will. We went on a Saturday in the morning time and it was not very crowded, but it seemed to start to fill up faster as it approached noon. Fun area to come with family and friends and enjoy some food and the lake on a hot summer day!

We ended up having to switch boats with him. He was transferring his stuff to the boat and hit someone in the face with his flip by accident which is okay, but didn't apologize. The scariest part was the rope came off the tube when we pulled it, it was simply not tied on properly. I've been on the lake a number of times both on rented and owned boats. This was the only bad experience so far.

The staff was VERY friendly, helpful, and informative from start to finish. The check-in process was so easy, and they did a great job making sure we didn't spend our vacation waiting around. The pontoon boat was clean, comfortable, and the tube worked perfectly for the kids. Everyone had such a great time on the water! This was our second time renting a boat from State Park Marina, and both experiences have been amazing. We truly have no complaints. The staff is awesome and goes above and beyond to make sure families have a great experience. Highly recommend State Park Marina if you're looking for a fun day on the lake!
