Food was adequate, we go what we ordered. The portions could be a bit larger. I had an omelette (with sour dough toast) it would have been nice to have the toast on its own plate. Instead of on top of my omelette. The hash brown could have been cooked better, burnt on one side is not well done, raw on the other side. In need of breakfast to fuel our continued journey, we opted to eat at Big Moe's. It's not the fanciest or the biggest. There were no other customers. The bathrooms were cleaner than the restaurant. Such a great spot for breakfast after our weekend at Huntington State park! We had our dogs and Kristen was amazing to accommodate! There were six of us and we all wanted something different! I said Kristen is like our mom making us all what we wanted! AND she went above and beyond to help us when the dogs locked us out of our car by providing a wire hanger, a ruler, and some tape! Heck yeah! This was an unexpected surprise! I was with a few fiends driving through Price. We needed to grab some food but we were worried it'd be slim pickings since we were all craving breakfast and it was still pretty early in the morning. We were pleasantly surprised to find this gem of a breakfast joint in town! We all ordered the Big Moe's Breakfast. It comes with choice of two meats. I ordered the sausage patties and links. I was expecting the typical, tiny, links and patties that I'm used to getting at the chain breakfast places. The portions were massive! And delicious! Two big sausage patties and links, plus a plate full of hash browns and eggs smothered in cheese! YES! (Gotta ask for cheese on the eggs!) As if that weren't enough, it comes with toast or pancakes. GET. THE. PANCAKES. I dunno what it was about these pancakes, but they were awesome. Very sweet, with a fluffy-cake-like density that was exactly how I like my pancakes to be! Very slow service. Cold food and floppy cold fries. Bad avocado. Definitely don't recommend. We got a burger that was shriveled, overcooked and didn't fill the bun as well as a philly cheese steak that was not delicious. I always take my leftovers home, but we definitely did not. read more

My friend and I were on a road trip towards Salt Lake City and happened upon Big Moe's for breakfast. This place was such a pleasant surprise! If you're going through Price I would suggest stopping here. There is ample roadside parking and also a dedicated lot. I ordered one of the plates which included 2 eggs, hashbrowns, a choice of meat (sausage patties or links, bacon, ham), which also included 2 massive fluffy pancakes. The food was good with very large portions. The coffee was made fresh. Service was excellent and the staff were very pleasant. The prices were also on point. Nope, you''ll have to have three. And that will be pricey. At $7.39 for a 4 oz of chicken feta on gluten free, with a side salad and a cookie (not gluten free), you'll have to have order a couple of sandwiches. And that will get pricey. Solid 4. My wife and I both had breakfast dishes. Pretty good, the toast was amazing. I was a little weirded out about the avocado being baked into my omelette. I felt like they were hiding a past ripe avocado. The tables and chairs don't match and that ok. That's part of the charm of this place. It's a bit of a whole in the wall. Customer service was good. When I travel, I often love to find the local, unique, one of a kind, hole in the wall kinda restaurant. We stumble upon to this restaurant and wanted to give it a try. Big Mo's knows how to bring hungry travelers like me in. I was driving along the highway from Spanish Fork to I-70 with full intent of eating somewhere in Price. I wanted it to be memorable so I was going to bust out the old Yelp app (once I got cellphone signal) and search for the hottest spot in all of Price... Wait! What's this I see? A giant billboard telling me to eat at a place called Big Moes Eatery and Bakery. That's pretty much all it takes to get me to plug it into the GPS and take me there. Like I said above, not sure how I got there less the guidance from the GPS. Its somewhere off the main freeway and then off the main strip in Price. Its in a little strip center with parking in a lot or on the street. The restaurant is quaint, its a small town joint. Its not high style or sexy furnishings... just functional furniture in a white room with grandma's trinkets tacked to the wall. There's plenty of seating and lots of cold cases where it looks like they sell stuff to complement their baked goods. Big Moe had a menu full of big sandwiches and big hamburgers. I think there may have been a big salad, but honestly Big Moe didn't get big off of Salads so why not follow in his likeness and stick to the meals between bread. I had the Patty Melt and added bacon. They offered 3 sizes, the 1/4, 1/2 and 1lb patty. I just want to flatter Big Moe not become him, so I stuck to the 1/4. The burger was on thick buttery toasted bread piled high with grilled red onions and hot melted cheese. I added bacon but I think that only amounted to two slices thrown on. The bread supposedly is made in house, I believe it because it was fresh and thick. It absolutely wasn't plain sandwich bread from the grocery. The patty melt came sitting on top of a bed of fries. These were the all natural kind with the potato skin still on. It looked like they cut them there. Could have fooled me if they didn't. Not my personal cup of tea on the fries but they were fresh and hot. If I could offer up one suggestion they should wipe down all the stuff they have placed on the tables like the napkin holders, salt shakers and light reading material holders. It was a touch sticky. Honestly it was good affordable food with a waitress that took care of you. You can't ask for much more from a small town joint. The food was advertised as fresh and looked and tasted that way when it was served. I'd definitely eat here again if I was through Price although next time I want to meet Big Moe himself. read more

Decided to come here for lunch today, seated myself and placed an order for a side of Broccoli & Cheese Soup, the 1/2 lb Bacon Avocado Burger and homemade fries with Fry Sauce. My first sprite was the bottom of the bag, so I waited for the refill. The soup was watery, way too much Mexican Blend cheese, barely any broccoli, but it still tasted decent. The fries were the best part! Yum. But my fry sauce tasted like tarter sauce so I didn't finish. The burger would have been 100% if they would have just seasoned the burger! It was so bland and I didn't even want to finish eating it. The waitress was friendly and the food came somewhat quickly. It's more of a restaurant than a bakery, I was going to buy a few of the delicious looking cookies, but spaced it! I will be going back later this week to grab some cookies and maybe a loaf of bread to try it out. The place could use some new paint and new menus where they don't advertise everyone else's business. Kind of tacky and not a great business tactic, but hey what do I know? I ordered the bbq beef sandwich and it was one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. The bread was toasted perfectly. The meat was delicious and the bbq sauce was so on point. There was no lack of meat or sauce also, it was stuffed! The sandwich came with a pickle which was perfect, I got the pasta salad which was just ok. You also get a cookie and it was AMAZING! Our table of 5 had two orders of Two Eggs w/choice of meat; biscuits and gravy; a scramble; and a French toast sandwich. Each was delicious. Unusual to the whole experience was the fact that it's a breakfast place that doesn't open until 8:00am. Seems late but maybe the town just doesn't get rolling until then. I don't know.
