Staff was very friendly, seemed like a clean place. Didn't love the pizza(s), beer, or Cubano. However, the cheeseburger was excellent.

As someone with Celiac, I was overly impressed with the number of gluten free options at Groggs. We were passing through on an RV trip from Colorado to Oregon and found Groggs on Yelp, and also the owner of our Harvest Host site in Wellington recommended it as well because she knew they had GF buns. Turns out, they have SO many gluten free items, including burgers, sandwiches, wraps, pizza, a number of appetizers, and many entrees. I just had to order the gluten free lasagna, because it's never something I can order in a restaurant. As an Italian who makes and loves lasagna, I can attest that it was perfection. It came with a GF bun for the side bread as well without even having to ask, yet the waitress confirmed when she brought our meals. Very attentive. We also had gluten free wings. My husband ordered the guacamole burger (he can have all the gluten but it could have also been GF if needed) and he was really happy with it. It not only had guac on both top and bottom buns, but the "best bacon" per him. I agreed when he gave me a small piece off of his German potato salad that he ordered as his side. The service was friendly, prices were reasonable, and food arrived in a timely manner even with it being packed. Whether you're in need of GF or not, we'd encourage you to go to Groggs :) read more

Stopped for lunch on our way through first thing first food was eh. Second I can't eat much so my husband will usually order food and I just split what he gets. We have done this many times at many places no problem. Well to have them split something so cut a sandwich in half they charge you $7 don't say anything because they end up giving you an extra side and all that which we didn't ask for. So, while I'm not complaining about $7 it's the mere fact that because we ordered one thing they put that one thing on 2 different plates and charged for an extra thing not asked for. This is a great little place. Inside is western chic, with nice seating. Service is wonderful. They have excellent vegetarian offerings. I recommend the pretzel! Definitely a place to revisit. Groggs was recommended by Legacy Inn in Price UT. So glad we followed this recommendation! The menu was massive! The waitress was friendly . Very welcoming decor . But the best of all was the food!!!We both ordered the chicken pot pie made with bone broth and delicious vegetables under a buttery crust. I can't say enough good things about Groggs, this was such a great find. Shoutout to everyone that's previously reviewed and taken pictures because I needed a place to eat on the way home from Arches National Park and looked to Yelp for help. The service was wonderful, the cooks were having a blast rocking out in the kitchen which was entertaining. The menu had so many options that looked appealing but I settled on a Santa Fe burger which was delicious with roasted red peppers on top. The German potato salad was definitely the way to go for a side if you like potato salad. And we lucked out on a chilly evening and had a booth with a heater under it. The whole experience was amazing and I will definitely stop here next time I head to arches or canyonlands. read more

Great food, friendly service. I really liked my Mac and Cheese with brisket. Pretty tasty and it was ENORMOUS. Enough for 3 meals for me. Funny thing was that it came with a side of butter. When our server came to clear the table I asked what it was for. Butter with Mac and cheese? She said it was for the dinner roll, which I didn't get. We had a laugh about it. I thought it was a Utah thing, like they butter their Mac and cheese here? Funny. So I guess I'm taking one star off for not getting the dinner roll. But also the beer selection was fairly limited for a place that calls itself a brewery. They don't have their own beer and they don't have a great variety. read more

Went here for dinner the food was ok but not exactly perfect. But hey these things happen right? The burger was filling and ok, bit over cooked. The salad was good just wish it came with more dressing. I ordered fries but as you see they never arrived. Others in the party ordered a philly cheese steak sandwich, was actually a pot roast sandwich. It was missing cheese and onions but did have plenty of green peppers on a dry hogie. But hey these things happen and maybe the cooks had an off day. I didnt see any onsite brewing going on so maybe this is a serious micro micro brewery . My wife and I heard from out hotel receptionist that Groggs has amazing burgers, so we had to try it. We started with their Wings and pretzel. Their wings were quite good! They only had Asian, Buffalo or no sauce flavors so we went with the Asian flavored ones, as an Asian myself they didn't taste Asian, but were sweet with a bit of heat. Just the right amounts. The pretzel was standard, bready with a honey mustard dip that was more mustardy. I ordered the pastrami burger with potato wedges, my wife, the brisket mac n cheese. The pastrami burger was aight, definitely not as good as Lucky 13's pastrami burger. Their potato wedges had a great flavor to them while crisp. The brisket mac n cheese was id recommend ordering this with a bed because you'll want to take a nap after finishing these heavy carbs. Overall I'd go back, and if you're in Price definitely try it out. read more

Walked in, it's an old house turned restaurant, pretty common for the area (it's Price, so not many options lol). We walk in and the room is quaint, old bar turned diner feel. We sit down on the comfy seats and put our forearms on the sticky table. Server was nice but didn't give us any refills or anything really. We ordered: Chicken pot pie w salad: side salad was good, looked and tasted fresh. Pot pie 4/5, great flavor, just not what you would expect for a pot pie but a nice spin. 12 hour smoked brisket sandwich: Was excited for this and maybe that's why it was a huge let down. 2/5. The meat tasted boiled not smoked. Maybe boiled and then smoked for a bit, lacking any flavor sadly. Not much brisket either, there was more coleslaw than meat (the coleslaw was delicious 5/5). Baked potato was the size of a mandarin and had more peel than potato. Chicken quesadilla: potato wedges were delicious the quesadilla was 3/5, chicken had no flavor. They had their own brews, we picked the cutthroat pale ale and it was a perfect cutthroat 5/5. While a bit disappointed I'm excited to go back and try some of the other menu items, the locals love the place. read more

Let me preface but saying others love this place and I had to come 3 times before writing this in the off chance I had a random bad experience. On my first visit, a work meeting took place and everyone's steak (6-7 people) was over cooked. The roasted potatoes on that visit were the best thing we collectively agreed we ate. Second visit I grabbed a burger. Whoever put the condiments on it simply poured it into my burger and it was a giant mess. There are many burger options, but that experience had me sold on never getting another. My most recent visit, I ordered cauliflower bites as an appetizer and the Cuban sandwich. The food took nearly 40 minutes to arrive and came together (no idea why it was called a starter if you're going to serve it together). Nothing was hot (it was mildly warm, not cold). The potatoes came later because the server wanted to get at least that portion of food out. The Cuban sandwich had pulled pork which was very dry. The bread was left in a panini press for so long it had hardened into something difficult to bite through and cut my mouth while chewing. The potatoes that came late...once again stole the show and were wonderful. I've never tried the pizza and won't have that opportunity because I won't be returning. If you do go, be sure to get the roasted dinner potatoes. read more

When when you put it on the map it's kind of weird in the isolated road but once you get there, it's pretty cool it's small but the food everything looks amazing and it's very good and the service is great. We stop by Everytime we are in Price! Literally everything we have had is delicious!! Their house dinner salad is insane and a must get, burgers are great and often times two meals especially if you add a salad, their Cajun ribeye, Cajun pork chop, house made lasagne, the ribs, club sandwich.. all delicious, their red potatoes are my favorite side dish, and they have great iced tea. We asked to have them remade and at that point we're the only customers in the restaurant and it still took them 30 minutes to bring out the replacement burger. Our waitress never checked on us. But I guess she had more important things to do. We watched her laughing and chatting with the other waitress. Horrible dining experience. I left a photo to show how burned our hamburgers were. Definitely my spot when on business in Price/ Helper area. My colleague's Cobb salad was extremely well portioned and delicious from his account. I had the turkey bacon wrap for lunch today and the prime rib sandwich last night. The turkey bacon wrap was very good, served with a broccoli slaw. The wrap was not lacking meat and was great! The slaw is served in a balsamic vinaigrette that was very tasty. The only constructive point of view I have is with the prime rib sandwich. It was a bit grisly/fatty and hard to chew in some spots. But with the horseradish and au jus, and gulped down with an IPA and then an amber ale, I was happy. read more
