From the street, this unassuming food truck may not look like much, but pull up and grab a taco-you won't be disappointed. It's located in the middle of a motel parking lot, so there is some parking off the road. There are a few tables set up for seating nearby. I enjoyed the chicken taco as well as a beef taco-I preferred the chicken one, but both were good. These tacos were authentic, and very affordable. This food truck is in front of a run-down motel, with a few old picnic tables to eat at, so it doesn't really look like a place you'd want to eat. BUT the food was delicious and very reasonably priced, and the people working there were very friendly and helpful, so I highly recommend you give it a try if you are in the area. read more

This food is SO GOOD! It's our new favorite find in Helper. We eat here at least once a week. I love the chicken tacos with green mild sauce and my husbands gets the quesadilla with spicy sauce. We eat here a couple of times a week at all different times of the day. Everything we have tried is very good. The prices are more than fair. Angel and his helper are always pleasant. We have a celiac family member who is NOT sensitive that can eat at Angel's. We are careful to tell them we are ordering for a celiac. My favorite is the deconstructed burrito bowl. read more

We got chicken burritos as well as a couple tamales. My burrito had beans, rice, sour cream and spicy red. Let me tell you, it was spicy! Lol. I loved it!!! My nose was running and my eyes were watering but the flavor was awesome!!! (I got spicy because some ideas of spicy are not warm at all.) I am so full from the burrito that I'll have to have my tamale tomorrow. The price is comparable to the quantity of food you get and the quality is great. They even used homemade tortillas. The burritos are huge, the tacos are good. My only complaint is without the salsa cups they provided us, this food would have been terrible and only got maybe 1-2 stars. We had 3 half full salsa cups (so about an oz) for 4 tacos, & 3 burritos. & you had to have salsa on the food otherwise the food just tasted so incredibly bland. We ended up having to toss one of our burritos because we had no salsa for it & it just had no flavor at all. I tried adding hot sauce to it and adding some seasonings because I did not have everything for fresh salsa and I did not want to go buy stuff to make fresh salsa... It was just so bad that I could not fix it and find a good flavor after it had been sitting in the fridge for a day.. so in the trash it went. The chicken was diced chicken, with absolutely no seasoning, you couldn't even see black flecks from pepper on it or any char marks, nothing. It looked like a piece of chicken just got thrown in the oven, pulled right out and straight into the burrito with nothing added to it. The carne asada burritos were a little bit better but that too was bland. The rice that was in the burrito had no flavor and the beans were well, just beans. read more
