Wow. I just had a great experience at this bike shop. I am an avid bike rider. I do not have the latest or most expensive bike gear. In Naples that can be a problem ... everyone seems to have items that go well beyond what they really need. Bike snobs. So I brought my hybrid bike into BMs and they took care of my problem promptly and at a great price. They couldn't have been nicer. If you need a bike or service, you really need to go here! I am so glad that I did. Hunter helped me find the right bike for me. I tested out several and he adjusted the seats, waited for me to return from test rides and explained all of the differences between the bikes that I was looking at. Then, when I picked one, he took it to the technicians to give it another thorough inspection, polished it up and Hunter delivered it to my home on the same day! Expert knowledge coupled with excellent service and reasonable prices for quality products...I can't recommend them enough! 5 stars!!! These people really go above and beyond to deliver incredible customer service. I've been going to Big Momma's for years for minor repairs, assembling bikes and to pick up accessories but today they really did something special. I was stranded on one of my longer bike rides with a slipped chain that needed repair and also my brakes. Not only did they arrive to the rescue in record time, they (or more specifically, Hunter) got the chain working, fixed my brakes and didn't even charge me. This is a great local business to support. This store told us that there were no weekly rentals available and to try again another time, however when we called them only a few minutes later and asked for daily rentals they said they had a few. However, the website advertised weekly rentals. So we ended up not renting from them because of the false advertisement on their website. read more

Very easy process to order online. I called to make arrangements for delivery and pick up and they were accommodating. Bikes were delivered while we were away, so they locked them and sent me a text to notify me they had been delivered. Bikes were in perfect shape and they came with a helmet, lock, and basket. read more

Rented 2 3 speed bikes online but when I went to get bikes they only had cruisers. it worked out fine. Didn't need the gears for flat Naples roads. I would just call ahead. Online system not accurate. Prices reasonable. Good location to gulf shore road. read more

It has been 2 years since I bought my last bicycle from Amy at Big Momma's and my opinion has only grown since then. They have consistently given my bike great service, just yesterday I had a little problem with a Brake wire, I called Larry on his cell phone, told me he was unavailable but to ask for Ray. Once I got to the shop Ray stopped what he was doing looked at my bike fixed and adjusted it and off I went. I bring my bike in for service, they do a great job. I had a flat once, they came to my condo and fixed it in the garage. These guys really care. read more

High quality, high value. We live in Naples and bike to school with our (growing) kids, every day of the school year. For that reason, we want good quality, low maintenance bicycles. After looking around town, extensively, we've determined that Big Mommas sells great quality bikes, which have shown themselves to cost a little more up front, but less over time. First bike purchased in Napels, for our son, was a Trek, purchased from the local Trek shop. Nice bike. Held up better than the department store bikes when dropped, left in front yard, etc. (This comparison is based upon seeing how other bikes at the school rack weathered compared tot he Trek. No doubt that the department store / big box bikes, like RockHoppers, rust-out really fast). However, some of the Trek bike parts didn't hold up well in this salt water environment, and the Trek shop was fine but didn't give great support. Big Mommas was able too provide the service we needed on that bike, and some older bikes we had when we moved to Naples a few years ago. So glad we found them! Second bike was a Marin bike, for our daughter, from Big Mommas. The build quality and performance increase, compared to the Trek, was really noticeable upon purchase and over the two years of daily use. Better components, stronger build, held up very well to this harsh environment and use by a 5 - 6 year old. Since then, we've purchased Marin bikes from Big Mommas for our son and both adults. They are great bikes, and Big Monmas knows how to put them together correctly. Big Mommas has been fair with us with regard to purchase, setup, tune-ups, repairing flat tires, and normal care. The kids love their bikes. So do the adults. We trust the shop. Likely, as the kids outgrown their current bikes, they will have a better resale or trade value than most other bikes, making them significantly less expensive to own. However, the slight price premium compared to Trek makes for a far superior bike than everything else in this category. We're thankful that Big Mommas knows which bikes are the best value and quality for this region. read more

Why go anywhere else to rent a bike? I have used Big Momma's the past two years now and have found my place to rent bikes. The one issue is parking - it is tight! I am a road biker and they rent Bianchis. The service is fantastic, the costs are quite reasonable and the bikes are in great shape. Since the area is not great for road riding the staff will gladly guide you to the best places to ride. read more

if i were able to give this a zero star i would they charged us 393 bucks for 2 bike tune ups and then we went bc bikes for new brake pads for my sons bike and they said a tune up was 65 bucks and with an estimate on spot while at big mommas absolutely no estimate and the guy that owns the place does not speak english and was very rude read more

Sal and his guys are the real deal. I went in there with minor things I wanted done on my trek. He was super helpful in recommendations. I brought my second old school Schwinn in pronto and they got both tuned perfectly. I had gotten my trek tuned over in Jupiter not too long ago and they have no clue. Exceptional customer service!! I decided that I wanted to start biking again and include my twin boys in my activity. Thus I am in the market for a double bike trailer and went here to get some information. Sal, the owner, greeted me and took time to answer all of my questions. I brought in my bike that had sat in the garage for a few years and he looked it over - I needed some minor adjustments that he took care of immediately. What great service!!! Then we looked to hook up a Burley pull behind trailer to the bike. However he determined because of the baby seat already in place it would not be safe to hook up another device to the wheel. I appreciate him being safety conscious and discussed my options. I decided that I would rent a bike and trailer for a week to give it a spin. He had a new bike ready, trailer attached, and ready to go in a few hours. When I came back he took time to explain all the features on the trailer and how to safely connect/disconnect it from the bike. Oh and while I was looking around the shop at the bikes another cyclist came in who clearly was out on the road with her bike and experienced some type of emergent issue. Sal took a look at it and quickly got it resolved and back on the road. I think what really strikes me about the interaction is what a great shop and very exceptional customer service that very few places have in todays era. I will defiantly be returning here again. I was borrowing two bikes from the people I was in Naples visiting when I damaged one in transport. I brought the damaged bike in expecting the worse (expensive part replacement). As someone who is pretty mechanically inclined I knew how boneheaded my mistake was and expected some well deserved judgement. Not only did I not get any judgement (or they just hid it really well) but I explained to them the issue someone jumped right on it and had it fixed in minutes. When I tried to pay them they refused to accept it. They could have easily told me I needed a new part and charged me for it, but instead they fixed the problem and told me a much easier way to transport it without having to take it apart. read more

Was only $10 an hour to ride my bike around Naples I went to the beach got food such a fun thing to do very peaceful and relaxing but also good exercise. Such an easy way to get around. They offered me a beer at the end of my ride which is just what I needed read more

I can't say enough good things about our experience with Big Momma's. We have two Trek bikes that had been seriously neglected and were considering being trashed. We took them to Big Momma's just to see what they could do. They gave us an estimate on the spot and promised to get it done in 2-3 days. The bikes were ready in 24 hours! and looked brand new! We had the same bikes serviced at the Trek store a few years ago, where we bought them, and they were not much better when we got them back. This experience doesn't even compare to that. I went to Big Momma's Bicycles looking for help to fix my son's bicycle. I wanted his birthday to be magical but his bike handle were crooked, the rim was bent, and the breaks were in terrible shape.
