The guys running it were super friendly and chatty and were super proud of the food they're producing. Unfortunately, it's reviews on here that make people hate Yelps, so unless they were terrible a year ago, then I'm not sure what's going on here. The Nashville Hot chicken we ordered was massive, and it was some of the best I've tried in a long time, especially in Columbus. The chicken was super juicy while the breading retained a ridiculously delicious and spicy crunch. You definitely get a lot for what you pay for. The heat level was great, since I love it spicy, and it was absolutely caked in cayenne paste. I also ordered the Jambayala, which was solid as well. It definitely could use some more heat, and I don't think anyone else would mind if the spices in it were kicked up a notch. The chicken and sausage was tasty, and cooked just right, so I can't complain. Like I said, I'm not sure what the deal is here unless the bourbon chicken was just that bad, but I find it hard to believe. I'll check back though and try it. I really don't understand why people are basing southern cooking off a 4 ingredient dish that you can get at any fair or festival like its the epitome of Cajun cooking but whatever. You do you. The crispy bourbon chicken over Carolina gold rice is honestly the southern/Asian fusion fried rice I didn't know I needed. I know it's not typically made with crispy chicken but it should be. It just should. There were bits of traditional bourbon chicken I think he rice along with scallions, and so different textures in every bite. And if you're not familiar with Carolina Gold rice, do your googles and learn. It's an heirloom grain that's making a comeback and for good reason. It's so much more flavorful than regular rice. The brisket Mac and cheese belongs together, I could have done without the cornflakes, but they do bring a nice crunch to the dish, and however the brisket mac is sauced...sheesh!!!! Like I said this brisket and this mac belong together. And then there's the fried green tomatoes. The tomato was tangy and fresh, the breading not too heavy to overpower and nicely seasoned. A well balanced profile. The aioli was dressed a little heavy on mine, but it definitely gives you that southern flavor, tangy, smooth, and little sweet. I'd follow them just for the tea and lemonade, so the great food was a bonus. When you remember this is coming out of a food truck, you'll appreciate just how good this is. Iam hesitant to give 5 stars because I've only ordered one thing from the menu. But this truck has THE BEST chicken salad sandwich I've ever had. The flavors are amazing, you can taste the smokiness in the chicken. The croissant is a perfect, light buttery addition. The lettuce & tomato were super fresh both times I had the sandwich and it's a generous portion. This a new fav of mine/ highly recommend. I think I'll try the fried mushrooms next!

I also spend way more than I should, but in the case of Kenny's Meat Wagon, $14 for two sandwiches didn't break the bank too much, but it did almost put me into a food coma. I've had several chances to check out Kenny and his wagon, but I just never gave it a chance. Today was that day and what a great day it was. I could smell the grill from a ways off, especially the Chicago style Italian beef he had sitting there marinading. The menu offered for regular options and two specials, one being a Veggie sandwich. I had to figure out how to try a bit of everything without overdoing it. I went with the Italian sandwich, which had a thick slice of Genoa salami and pepperoni on it and a pile of the Italian beef covered in veggies and spicy mayo. This.. should have been enough for me, but I had to get the Corby Dog too which was a 1/4 lb hot dog topped with pulled pork and homemade BBQ sauce and purple slaw. All the meats are local, and the awesome bread that it comes on is too. I downed that Italian sandwich pretty quick even though it was quite a bit of food and started to get the meat sweats. It was so good, but Kenny's not messing around with his meat, and you'll probably want to take it slow. As far as the Corby Dog, I saved that for later. About 15 minutes later. It was absolutely delicious, and the BBQ sauce mixed in with the sweet peppers and grilled onions was really tasty. I wanted to get this review out here before I fell asleep at work, because the food was just so good. I see now why he won an award at the Columbus Food Truck festival. He's also selling OH Chips! If you find him, you have to give it a try. The Facebook and Twitter pages are updated daily, so that'll be your best bet!

I'm out in California often yet the burritos from this place smashes a lot of burritos on the WEST COAST! The proteins are fresh and well seasoned the cheese, rice, sauces etc in the burritos marry well together. It's not like one section of the burrito is just rice and the other is meat, and the next layer are veggies or cheese. The way the wrap them everything is kinda mixed together well so each bite you're getting a little bit of everything and the grilled onions on the side are the chefs kiss. I got a SOPE and it was decent but small and not too filling but their burritos are a homerun to me! The only drawbacks are whatever time they have listed that they open they are not on time so if 11am is listed they'll probably open up at 11:30 or 11:45. Also they take a LOT of call in orders so if you walk up and order something be prepared to wait 30 mins or more. I guess they have to make stuff in the order that they get them so if it's 10 call in orders ahead of you I guess they've got to make those first. Nevertheless it's definitely worth the wait. You CAN NOT get a burrito this food anywhere in the city especially from a chain like Barrio, Chipotle, Q Doba even if you're standing there in their faces telling them what you want.
