Iam hesitant to give 5 stars because I've only ordered one thing from the menu. But this truck has THE BEST chicken salad sandwich I've ever had. The flavors are amazing, you can taste the smokiness in the chicken. The croissant is a perfect, light buttery addition. This food truck came to my work today and I didn't want to walk out due to the cold and my bare legs (yeah, I wore a dress today), so I checked out their Yelp page. Chicken salad on a croissant with lettuce & tomato? My fav sandwich. I ordered this for $9, and a $6 shake (Jack Daniels Tennessee something) with heath bars. Yum on both. DAWG! The banana pudding ice cream? GTFO! I don't ever want another ice cream so long as I stand living! It's RIDICULOUSLY good. Food truck sat at work for the lunchtime crowd last week at work. I decided to grab the fried pickles, since that's my favorite "junk" food. Waiting for me is never an issue, but there were a few people peeved about waiting less than 10 minutes for their order. However, I suspect that's because we only get 30 minute lunch breaks. Service was honestly so great; the male and female duo had a great sense of humor and rapport with the hungry customers. The fried pickles tasted okay, the sad part was the fried shell fell off and I was left with slimy lukewarm pickles. They're also sort of small, maybe try a bigger sized pickle? Next time for real I'm getting 4 scoops of that ice cream, though. Maybe sell half pints, I'd buy you out! Take my two cents and put it toward your next ice cream. read more

So, I always stop at this food truck when at the food truck festival. Their onion rings are the best I've ever had! My daughter was with me and had them for the first time. They were her favorite thing we had at the festival . Along with the onion rings, we ordered potato salad and a scoop of buckeye blitz ice cream. The potato salad had celery and eggs in it which was why I ordered it. It should always have these two things in it! The crunch from the celery was great and the sauce they make for it reminded me of Amish potato salad. Delish! My daughter ordered the ice cream. I'm not a huge peanut butter fan (I know, somethings wrong with me!) but it was pretty good. She liked it and it was perfect for her. I'm sad to see them moving to Florida in October but I know I can at least get their onion rings when we go on vacation! read more

Philly Buster has made a fan out of me after the first trip. They don't offer a large menu, but you can customize your sandwiches in a number of ways. The big one here I'm guessing is the Brisket PhillyBuster, which is essentially a Philly cheesesteak but with pulled brisket rather than thinly sliced cuts. The flavor of that brisket was absolutely delicious, and I can't imagine eating a Philly Cheesesteak without it now. I did a combination of A1 and mayo, and it really worked out for me, and the sandwich itself is pretty damn big, so you won't go hungry. My buddy liked his sandwich as well, and we both decided to try the beer battered onion rings. They're big onion rings, but I'm not sure if I'd pay $4 for them again. My friend liked them a lot though, more than me, but he thought the pricing was a bit steep too. If this truck's around the area again, I'm definitely stopping by, and I'll probably go for the pulled pork next time, since the smoky brisket was so good. I wasn't interested in the ice creams and shakes, but they do offer plenty of different flavors for those who are. The Buckeye Blitz ice cream sounded pretty tempting. This truck just opened up this year, and I think they'll continue to do well with this simple but tasty menu. read more

I was looking on Street Food Finder's app, and saw that PB was at a church's Fall Festival today. Since I drive by it on my way home, and was headed back from the grocery store, 1+1= Lunch! The Festival started at 2 pm, and I got there around 2:30, so I was happy to beat the crowds/line. The lady and gentleman running the truck were pleasant. I felt a surge to defend and promote Yelp, when they explained there dislike of the "social" website, and felt it was "just like bullying". I assured them it's a great organization, and added that they have 4.5 stars on their page - good for them! I was having a hard time choosing between their Chicken Salad Croissant and the Brisket Philly. They were helpful and let me try a bit of the meat before deciding. Oh, the chicken salad mix. There brisket meal is soaked in a pickled, vinegar tasting, concoction. I wasn't feeling the tart, so I went with their Chicken Salad. Wow, excellent sandwich! A huge globe of the mix plopped on a large croissant with lettuce and tomato to top. I could totally taste the smoked flavor. The white sauce was not overwhelming at all. The owners make this staple fresh every day. Well done! This sandwich was completely worth the $8. I'm sure if I got a side dish, I would have been too full to eat it. read more

Their customer service is terrible as well as their professionalism. On top of that, their bowl is advertised as gf/v/vg on street food finder when it is not vegan. When I posted about them being vegan friendly in a review on facebook, they rudely told me they were not vegan as they use butter to sauté the veggies. I am not one to leave negative reviews, but these people need to be exposed for what they are...arrogant, rude, and misleading. They left a school without food, they made jokes about it online, they never apologized or made any effort to fix their mistake and rude behavior, and they are falsely advertising that they are vegan friendly. I do not want anyone else to get fooled by their menu on street food finder. Don't waste your money, do somewhere else. read more

Yes folks years later saying I must hate everything I do because of the honest feed back I provide. Well David C. Do better and look to the future. I had Philly Buster Food Truck last night for our daughters' couple wedding shower, and from the moment Lisa and her team arrived everything was wonderful! The Food was outstanding, The Service was top notch, she took care of letting our guest order at their own pace, set up extra tables by the truck for our guest to hang out, she also let everyone know when last call was. I figured the price was a bit steep & would keep me from rating it 5 stars, but once I started in on the sandwich it was worth the price. I had the brisket philly with onions, peppers, bbq sauce, & pepper jack cheese. The brisket was what I've come to expect of a good brisket, juicy & tender, breaks apart easily. Loved the pepper jack cheese sauce, had a nice kick to it, reminded me of queso. Wanted to try the fries but when I saw how big the basket was, & the price, I just went with the sandwich. So disappointed, did not bring a lunch today-work at a local elementary school, we get food trucks every Friday. Went out to get lunch-they decided to leave because they said they had competition? Our neighboring middle school has Kona Ice come as a reinforcement for the kids....it was flippin' 30 degrees (less) and NO, they would not have been any competition. The main problem with this food truck is the price compared to what you get. $15 for a mediocre sandwich (I had the philly brisket thing) and nothing-special bacon cheese fries is a little much. The cashier was very friendly, but somehow misplaced my order. After the fourth or fifth order went out to people who ordered after me, I finally went around back and inquired about my order. The man finally found it and I received my order in about another 3-4 minutes with nary an apology. All in all, I wouldn't recommend this truck. read more

Really over-priced. Portions were large, but not enough to justify the cost. I paid $14 for lunch. For such an expensive option, I expected it to be great. It was really just ok. Pork sandwich had trouble holding together with grease or water tearing through the bottom of the bun. Meat included a tough, overcooked chunk. I'll save my money for other things. read more

I would't care if this was the best food in the world, no one has the right to treat customers like this, especially our hardworking teachers, many of whom were left without lunch the other day when the food truck refused to serve them. The PTO booked this food truck for the staff, but when they saw that another food truck (who had been invited to offer treats to the middle schoolers- not meals for staff) was nearby, they drove away, with teachers waiting in line. If management had responded with an apology, I would never have thought to complain online. I don't do this often. But I will never buy from this food truck after their refusal to serve teachers and their refusal to respond productively to complaints. read more

Another food truck at work today for lunch. This place has humongous sandwiches!! Which is a good thing considering a sandwich here is $8 a pop. You definitely get your moneys worth! This is my second time eating here, this time I had the brisket phillybuster rather than the chicken. SO MUCH BETTER! Hands down. The brisket tastes like its been cooking and marinating all day. They have this horseradish mayo that give the sandwich just enough kick without making it overly spicy. I also had a side of broccoli salad. It was just so so. I work for a local elementary school. Every Friday our school, as well as a nearby middle school, gets a food truck for staff members to purchase lunch. Students are not permitted to buy lunch, just staff members. When PhillyBuster showed up on Friday, they refused to serve the staff members already outside waiting for lunch because they saw a Kona Ice truck in the same parking lot. Kona was hired as a reward for the Middle school students. Food truck Friday is something we look forward to and we do not bring lunch because we can purchase lunch from the food truck. PhillyBuster refused to serve us and angrily drove away because of Kona Ice serving students as a reward. This was totally unprofessional and uncalled for. They also did not notify the schools of this poor, unfortunate decision so many staff members went without a lunch for the day. I will NOT ever give this vendor my support again. read more

Every Friday (not just once a month) our school, as well as a nearby elementary school, enlists a food truck for teachers to purchase during lunch. Students are not permitted to buy lunch, just teachers. When PhillyBuster showed up on Friday and saw the Kona Ice truck, they refused to serve the teachers (four of which were already outside waiting for lunch). Foodtruck Friday is something many teachers look forward to and teachers do not bring lunch because they anticipate being able to purchase lunch. PhillyBuster refused to serve those teachers and angrily drove away because of Kona Ice serving students as a reward. In that process, the man working the truck was rude to the teachers outside and was not handling the conversation as a mature adult. Even when teachers were trying to explain that Kona Ice is for the students and would not change his sales, he still slammed things around in the truck, slammed a door shut, and raised his voice at the teachers. The menu looked great. The pictures online look great. But by acting like a child and as a result, causing many teachers to go without lunch, I will not be supporting this food truck, not now or ever again. read more
