If I could give 6 stars, I would! I was only supposed to take a bite of one wing and eat the rest at home. I failed horribly because the flavor was so good!

I hate to do this but guys do better. I came exclusively for the wings, I needed to eat wings here and for my surprise the wings were ice cold in the middle, I know it was a Wednesday evening, you wanted to go home but the place empty, at least take the time to cook or heat up the food properly. It's quite a drive for me to come here and just be disappointed

Ray Ray's is a solid spot for Texas BBQ and I've enjoyed it many times at their food trucks so I was excited to try their Brick and Mortar in Granville! The statue of a pig at the entrance immediately signaled how serious they were about their meat. They had a spacious indoor seating area with lots of games you could play as well. I tried a sample platter so I could try a little bit of everything. Their brisket definitely sold the show. It was tender and seasoned well without being overly salty. Their pork ribs were also very tasty and the chicken had a nice jerk seasoning on it, with pickled onions for extra texture. The sausage was definitely on the more seasoned side and their burnt ends were a bit tough. The pickles that came with the BBQ helped provide freshness so I could enjoy more meat! I appreciated their assortment of BBQ sauces and there was a sauce for everyone, whether you like it spicy or sweet! As for sides, their Mac and cheese was creamy and hearty, and went well with the meat. Their servers were really friendly and made sure we were taken care of, even though we rushed in 30 minutes before closing.

Great food and on the DDD trail. Ribs were soft and amazing. Cornbread is to die for. Service was average.

3.5/5 Service was great! Ray rays supper club hosts events. This night was French themed. The wine was great! Half the dishes left something to be desired. Of the 7 courses 2 were fantastic, 3 were good, 1 ok, and 1 was not so good. I was super excited because I love French food and I've been to France several times. It was ok. Overall as an event I think it's a good concept. I would recommend going if you know a chef that is coming in or a brewery that serves good food and drinks. Overall glad for the experience.

Walked fries with Dill Salt, Mac & Cheese and a Puller Pork Sandwich

My husband and I love good BBQ and Ray Rays didn't disappoint! Ordered their BBQ sandwich lunch special Pulled Pork, a side of Mac and got an additional side of fries....they season them in dill salt and OMG. The food and value for the money was incredible! I ate 1/4 of my food and took the rest to go for the 1.5 hour drive home. Spoke with the GM she was wonderful! I wanted to bring food home to my husband. She suggested the "Meat Sweats" sampler and it was a hit! Even after the long drive and being reheated everything was still so tender, not dry at all and not fatty all good meat. Loved their selection of sauces, the mustard and the Carolina were my favorite and the sriracha aioli for the fries as well. We will definitely be back next time we are in town. I'm hoping they will continue expand to the Marietta area we desperately need a place like Ray Rays!

Meat Sweats sampler, mac and cheese, and cornbread

My family and I met up at Ray Ray's Meat + Three this afternoon. The atmosphere was really nice - quiet, aesthetically pleasing, and clean. The service was fantastic; you order at the counter and get your food before you sit down, but all of the employees we interacted with made it a memorable experience. The food was pretty good. The meats were all solid. I wasn't the biggest fan of the chicken, but I could eat the turkey every day. The cauliflower burnt ends were a surprising delight. I'd now like to exclusively eat my veggies as burnt ends, please. My husband raved about the collard greens and scotch egg. On a less positive note, the cornbread and mac and cheese left something to be desired. The cornbread had some kind of syrup drizzled over it liberally and I wasn't a fan. It tasted almost like butterscotch? Way too sweet. The mac and cheese was just meh. I wouldn't travel to Granville specifically for Ray Ray's, but I wouldn't be opposed to stopping in again if I were in the area.

If you don't like Ray-Ray's, I don't like you. (Vegans and vegetarians have the permissible exception) FINALLY made it to their new spot, a far throw from the usual food truck experience I'm used to. The food is still top notch, however. It's out there, so I get not wanting to visit when we already have closer options in Columbus, but if you find your way in the area, I don't know if you can find better barbecue or better sides anywhere in the area. It's just... Ray Ray's is so damn good, you know?

I've been a huge fan of Ray Rays since the days of Smackys. Made the drive out to Granville because they had wings and I was craving them. Ordered them with Meat Sweats..just not the same quality, at all. Dry, not smokey, meat quality seemed worse, and even flavor seemed off. Hoping it was an off day, but I'll stick to Clintonville.

Having a little fun at a private event before the restaurant opens next week

Ohio, are you ready for some of the best BBQ you have ever eaten?!!! If you have eaten at other Ray Ray's BBQ joints, you know how good the food is...but, this Ray's Ray's Meat + Three is Ray Ray's reimagined! When you arrive, the first thing you'll notice is the really cool, vintage feel...think of a very modern kitchen meets a trendy throw-back BBQ shack! The dishes here are truly inspired by the best of Texas styled BBQ. The + three dishes are exactly what you think..... one meat: brisket, Anderson Farms whole hog, hot honey BBQ pork belly, pastrami spice turkey, jerk chicken, smoked leguna, or Nashville hot cauliflower burnt ends; and, three delicious sides: cheddar cornbread, mac and cheese, collard greens, German potato salad, pickled vegetables, Lexington slaw and simple salad. I had the brisket, and was completely blown away!! The meat was perfectly juicy, and the bark was incredible. The portions were huge and well worth the price. Although brisket is my go-to at BBQ joints, I can't wait to come back here and try some of their other meats or specialty items, such as wet or dry ribs; sandwiches, such as the pork belly Cubano; or the wagyu hot dog. I definitely recommend this unique restaurant with absolutely delicious dishes...you're in for a pleasant surprise! Professional foodie tip... After you eat your meal, be sure to save room for the peach cobbler... a MUST TRY... or the churros with salted caramel...they are both absolutely amazing!!!!!

Tonight, I found out they charged me $.86 for a packet of mayonnaise for an Italian sub and an extra $1.00 for some red onions on a small salad. In a previous order, I contacted the company via email because I hadn't seen any onions in the salad. The manager responded quickly by sending me clips of their security cameras showing the cook chopping onions and adding them to the salad. I admit there were onions in the salad after stirring it up, but they didn't seem more than the usual amount in a normal salad. It's laughable that the manager took the time to review security footage instead of just refunding the $1.00 charge and saying from now on, that fee will be added. Against my better judgment, I kept ordering, but tonight, I was charged again for the packet of mayo. I spend at least $25 a week there, often more, and these two instances leave such a bad taste in my mouth. While companies are free to charge whatever they want, frivolous charges like these really hurt the relationship for me. Tonight was the final straw with the $.86 mayo charge. I understand that maybe their business is struggling in this economy and maybe they need the money, but I hope it was worth losing so much more. From now on, I'll be using many other pizza places in town!

With a party of 17, my husband and I arrived early to secure seating, only to be told we couldn't be seated until our assigned server arrived--despite the fact that she had quit and was still on the schedule. A woman who appeared to be a manager or assistant manager then told us to move from the bar area (where we were told to wait) to the waiting area in front of the restaurant. When I questioned why we couldn't be seated in the meantime, she became visibly irritated, raised her voice, and made the situation uncomfortable, emphasizing that "It is Easter" and she was giving her employees time with their families. With that and her display, we decided to leave, and as we did, she repeatedly said, "Have a nice day!" in a condescending tone. Fortunately, LongHorn Steakhouse in Heath, OH turned our day around. They welcomed us immediately, and the managing partner, Adrienne Schmitt, went above and beyond--having heard about our experience, she even provided complimentary appetizers. The difference was remarkable. Excellent service, great food, and genuine hospitality. Kudos to LongHorn--we'll be back. Texas Roadhouse in Newark, your management team needs to do better.
