For context, it was Saturday around midnight and sprinkling. Had it not been for TJ, I would've had to consider staying at a hotel until the next morning. When TJ came, he discovered that there were fuse issues with the car, making the replacement process more challenging. I left him alone, and within 15 minutes he was able to resolve the issue using the Owner's Manual - even had to buy the remote for his excellent service! Prior to leaving, though, I discovered that my retractable cup holder had been broken in the process. After contacting Don's Lock and Key, Jesse took down my car information, and TJ took it upon himself to find a replacement cup holder. Could be here in 30mins great. Quoted me $95 to put a lock on a bedroom door. When done wanted to charge me $250 to just change the doorknob to one with a lock on it. After arguing a few mins, settled on $200 to get him out of my house. Asked for a receipt. Got a very generic receipt that didn't state actual name of Tom's Lock & Key but said 24HR Locksmith with a different phone number. Receipt name said technician was "Mike". Phone number was also different on receipt than person that called me.

They installed deadbolts and rekeyed existing locks so that it was all the same key. I had a door that wouldn't really close properly and that was fixed without having to ask about it. I wonder if to them, that was a simple job, but to me, it provided peace of mind, which to me is priceless. I recently had someone stalk my wife and I, turns out that person had a criminal record and was most likely going to rob our house. Not a great feeling, but hiring them and installing them helped to restore that sense of security that you want for your home. I highly recommend them!
