He actually asked for the photo I mentioned in my post (which no one else did) and even gave me a workaround to try on my own so I might not have to pay for a service call. I really appreciated that level of honesty and helpfulness! Unfortunately, there wasn't another entrance available, so I would've needed him to come out and the price was reasonable for the removal of the old lock and replacing it with a new one. I highly recommend Dominick for any issue that you may have. I had gone out for a late night for Halloween to find out that my smart lock is only smart if it has power. The batteries ran out on it and would not open via the keypad. Panicking that I couldn't get in and also freezing because it was 4 in the morning, I sent out inquiries to multiple "24/7" locksmiths and only Dominick replied to my emergency, all others either responded later the next day or did not do door locks. I had the most horrible experience with Dominicks Locksmiths. See attached messages that I had with them. Just to summarize I had a lockout date with him to open the locks etc. which is obvious from the text message. The Sheriff Department came as they were supposed to. The locksmith did not come even though we had an agreement. The Sheriff waited for 20 plus minutes but then has to leave for his next appointment. While the Sheriff was there, I texted them and called many times which are recorded on my cell phone. After I came home, I had to request another date from the Sheriff department, which was about 2 months out costing me a lot of money. I have not received any answer or explanation from him. One thing about a business you definitely would rather work with is that they provide you what you actually need instead of bombard you with a bunch of their products that you don't need. My gate lock was damaged with keys getting stuck and other locksmiths recommended getting a whole new lock. Dominick was one of them and eventually I went with him because he was available the day of to look at it. He arrived at the house and looked at the lock (ie took it apart). He made some adjustments and my key was no longer stuck, saving me 50 dollars of his recommended estimate which would have resulted in replacing the whole lock.
