She warned us that the waiting time was a bit long. But once I came in , they knew we called before and I was promptly checked in and my car was in the garage asap! Went there to have tires put on, told I needed an axle replaced but they ordered the wrong part, never asked me a thing. The axle broke and put a hole in my engine block totaling the car. The store took no responsibility and didn't stand by their work. Went to the owner and got blown off, didn't even want to talk to us. Would not recommend to anyone. read more

Had a blowout so I got a set of Big O AT 2s. Guy that sold me them said they were their best tires and had an excellent warranty. Well I just found out the warranty is crap if you don't live close to a Big O. My tire had a big knot on the sidewall after hitting a pothole. I'm active duty in Virginia so I figured I'd just call them up and send in some photos and they'd ship me a tire (that's what tirerack does). Nope... I called the warranty number and was greeted by someone who couldn't speak much of the English language. She took my information and said I'd get a call back. Three days later I called again and the same thing happened. So I figured I'd just call the Big O I bought them from and they said I would have to drive 2.5 hours to get the tire inspected before they'd think about replacing it and they wouldn't even have the tire in stock. So that's two 5 hour round trips plus wait time. They wouldn't even let me buy a tire and have it shipped to my location. I asked for the manager and the guy I was speaking to said he was the manager. He refused to give me a number to talk to the owner or cooperate. He then proceeded to tell me that these are the only options and hung up on me. I thought the manager from a smaller town would have been able to handle this better but unfortunately he was unprofessional and quite rude for a manager. The tires are less than 9 months old. So if you buy these tires you better hope you're close to a Big O to get help. Currently, I'm at over four weeks since my initial call and I'm still without a tire. I talked to the owner, Billy and he was very rude. Billy does not stand behind the warranty he sells. As a company Big O doesn't seem to care how long I'm without a tire. I've called this store, my closest store, customer service, the warranty number and even filed a complaint with no resolution. read more

Just wanted to give a big thank you to the folks here. My mother bent a rim on a 2010 sedan and was told by another local shop that a dealer replacement and tire would be nearly $700. Big O was willing to work with local salvage yards to bring the price down. Upon inspection, they realized the damage was minor. They repaired the rim, reinstalled the old tire, water tested to ensure no leaks were detected, and reinstalled it. They even refused to take a payment. If I could give zero I would. I got there 20 minutes before the place opened. All I needed was a simple oil change. 1 hour and 20 minutes after they open they are still not finished with my vehicle and had never even taken my vehicle into the garage. THREE!!! I repeat THREE peoples vehicles were looked at before mine. This place is garbage. Do the job yourself before letting them even you b your car to try and hold it forever. Place needs to be shut down. If I could give 0 stars I would. I had brought my car in for the tires to be rotated. Everything in the car was fine. Just needed my tires rotated because I felt it was time. They rotated them, as I left I felt a clicking in my driver side tire when breaking. I didn't figure much of it, but it got more aggressive by the day. I brought it back two days later due to MLK day. They had told me about a hour wait. I waited two and a half hours for me to watch them pull my car to the back, park it. Then drive around to the side. After that I was told my car needed $610 dollars in repairs. There was also curse words being thrown around. I highly recommend going to another Big O or mechanic. Crazy how a simple tire rotation that wasn't needed, THE EASIEST THING A MECHANIC CAN DO, turned into a $600 fix. read more

Avoid at all costs, uses aggressive upselling, can not keep to a schedule they provide, and after insisting they be paid in advance would not refund money for services that went unprovided. Seriously go anywhere but here and you will save hundreds and not be walking while they try to get the time to change a tire inside of 5 and a half hours without keeping your car overnight. read more

I had a family emergency out of state and really needed to get a slow leak in my tire fixed. I didn't know during this time if they were even open and taking customers. They were able fit me in with an appointment. Well turns out I had a cracked rim. They helped me out with where I could find one and saved me hundreds of dollars, instead of saying sorry good luck your on your own like most have done. I got the rim within the hour and took it back to get put on. They got me in and out wished me luck and at no charge. I can't thank the team of individuals here who took care of me enough! P.S. moms heart surgery went well and she's doing fantastic. read more

This place is amazing. I blew out a new tire while in Lexington and Big O tires was a life saver. I stopped in at 8:30 am on a Monday morning. They fit me right in and were able to find a match for my tire--I drive a Honda Fit (anyone else who also does knows what a pain it can be to find a tire that fits). Big O not only was able to work me in and found a used tire that fit, they only charged me $25 (it would have been $30, but I got a discount for being a Yelper!). Anyway, back on topic....$30 for a tire, no hidden fees, no labor charges, just the tire fee. I could not believe it...they could really have upped the price since we were over a barrel, but they were excellent. I honestly hope I don't have to go back, since I live ~600 miles away, but I encourage anyone in the area who needs tires or other auto work done to check this place out. read more

While traveling to Nashville from Frankfort, one of the tires on our trailer blew out. We called Big O About five minutes before they closed and they said they would wait for us to get there and take care of it. They were truly a blessing! Blew a tire on my pickup on my way back from Florida,looked up on the net,went there the next day and i would like to say the people there are very professional ,I decided to get new tires..they gave me several choices of tires,explained the quality and wear ratings on each tire,they were very friendly and i ended up choosing Cooper tires for my truck and they installed ,balanced,them in a timely manner explained the warranty and i was on my way...love the tires....i would recommend!!!!
