Jeff was a huge help and able to answer and explain all my questions and concerns. The process went pretty smooth and quick, and I was able to test drive or look inside any car I wanted! Last time I was at a dealership, it took about 6 hours to finish everything up. I also liked the fact that there isn't crazy traffic around there, so I had a comfortable and fun test drive. Had an unfortunate and horrible experience from the Service team over a month ago. I was shocked to see their 360 degree behavior change toward me. Had been a loyal customer since the 2010 BRAC to Fort Knox from St. Louis, MO. If anyone is deaf or hard of hearing, the Service Team don't want to acknowledge you, or if it was the case that they had a bad day at work, it was still not right, not courteous, not professional to put it on me. I was really sad and obsessive about what happened at my scheduled appointment there for a long time, like I was thinking about "What did I do wrong to them?" The salesmen were excellent. All of them greeted me with kindness and helpfulness. Riley Adams was the first to offer assistance so I worked with him. He bent over backwards to make sure I got the car I wanted. When I went to apply for a loan I met Jared. He was in charge of loans and financing. I had seen an ad stating that I could get a loan for 2.9 %. It was refused and Jared stated, "they would look at you like you had 3 heads if you were to ask for that rate". I was not impressed and felt belittled. Next I met Abe to sign the paperwork. He was miffed because I would not buy an extended warranty. I told him I should not have to pay that and added that he must not have much confidence in his product. When I was finely done I asked where my rubber mats were, but because I had not gotten the warranty they were not included. They were included with the first car I bought from them. All this just shows how new management can ruin customer relations. I will not darken their doorstep again! read more

Confirmed the morning of again that we would be by to see and purchase the vehicle. 30 minutes before we reached the dealership they texted that they sold the vehicle. My son drove from Louisville to Elizabeth to purchase his first car. We had a wonderful experience at the beginning but when the car started having problems as soon as he drove it off the lot they took it back and sent for repair. It was sent for repair twice doing more damage each time and is basically a junk car at this point. They have had the car and his money for 5 months! Imagine buying your first car, paying on a loan with interest and car insurance and you could only drive it a day and you can't buy another since they have your money. At one point they offered to pay off only the loan but keeping his $3000 down payment? We have had to get the Attorney General involved to help rectify this wrong perpetrated by Hardin Co Honda. read more

I would give this place zero stars if I could we had a horrible experience with this company we drove 4 hours one way to purchase a used vehicle for my daughters 16th birthday they were very aware of that. The vehicle we purchased was a 2005 vw beetle as is. During the test drive it drove fine no check engine or any other lights on . Once the sale was complete we didn't even make it to the end of the exit before we had problems It cut off at the Taco Bell drive thru we assumed it was out of gas and the gas gauge was off because it showed 1/4 tank so we put gas in it and it started back up. It ran rough the whole 4 hours home we assumed debri may have gotten into the fuel filter from running out of gas no biggy. NO that was not the issue half way home the EPC and check engine light came on. I was in contact with my sales rep immediately and was offered no resolution options . So we tried getting it fixed took it to our mechanic and he put it on the code machine a long list of issues showed up but the primary issue we thought we was looking at was the cam sensor so we changed it out nope still having issues the car would die out at intersections or in the middle of a turn and my 16 yo daughter was trying to navigate this issue DANGEROUS !! After a month of constant issues and no resolution we ended up buying a new vehicle. I called and spoke to the manager there and was told it's my problem now figure it out. They know the lemon laws in ky do not back used cars so they will not stand behind their sales which in my opinion any respectable dealership would. I asked for any resolution if their mechanics would fix it so we could resale it etc NO HELP WAS OFFERED!! I will NEVER do business here again and if you are looking for a reliable first time vehicle that won't break the bank for your child DO NOT PURCHASE from here !!! read more

Purchased a used vehicle from Hardin Co Honda. The follow up by the dealership has been the worst that I have ever experienced from any dealership to this point. They do not return calls, they don't follow through with items promised during the transaction (second keyfob) without multiple calls, thens visits. They send you a registration receipt but no plate to go with it. The list continues to grow. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. read more

DO NOT buy a used car here!!! This has been the worst experience in buying a car. I purchased this car last week and I am already having to take it into a shop. I have a leak in my tire due to low tire tread (which was one of our biggest concerns buying but was told it still had a long time before needing replaced and they wouldn't do it), my breaks are sketchy and unsafe, and the engine sputters so badly. It's literally been ONE WEEK!!! They push for "5 stars" right after you leave so you don't have a chance to get to know the car and it's issues. We stopped in last night to have them check out our car because it was smoking and making an odd noise. We're from out of town so we weren't sure where to go but we're so thankful we stopped in here. I saw the dealership was open until 7pm so that's why we chose them. We pulled into maintenance a little before 6pm to find out they actually close at 5pm. They were kind enough to go ahead and take a look at it. The ac compressor was literally burning one of the belts, so it would've caught fire if we had driven any longer. One of the employees dropped us off at a local hotel and waited until we were sure they had a room. They also picked us up this morning. The price was less than what we expected and everyone was super nice and helpful. Rick and all of the other maintenance techs were awesome. If we lived closer we would definitely come back! read more

I bought my car from Hardin County Honda, so naturally that's where I would want to take it to get fixed if anything was to happen to it. Especially since it is a much newer model and needs special things reprogrammed after damages and I would expect Honda to be the main ones to know how to do such. This isn't the first time I've taken my car to the collision center, so I expected at least some kind of decent service. What I got was nothing but garbage. Justin was completely rude the entire time throughout the claim process. Not only did it take them weeks to fix a minor dent in my car, they didn't even fix the entire thing! When I pointed out the fact that it wasn't completely fixed, he tried acting like he had no idea there was a dent there, but yet you could tell that they tried filling it in and painting over it (I have pictures to even prove it) but he still denied it because he's plain rude and doesn't care about your service. Then he gave me a run around about the new part that was suppose to come in saying it was back ordered and would be here such and such day, but that day came and no word. Dealt with this over and over multiple weeks in a row. I had to call him any time I wanted an update, I never once got a call from him first. As far as the repair itself, it's decent but whoever "tried" to detail my car did the WORSE job I've ever seen in my life. They didn't use the right products for the type of interior my car has and now it's completely ruined my dash board. I also can't forget to mention the fact that every time I use my vents since I picked it up, it smells like an old musky house, so who knows what they did there. I really was impressed with Hardin County Honda Collision Center the first time I went, but I guess that was because it was a couple years ago and I didn't deal with Justin. Hardin Co. Honda in Elizabethtown, KY Aug. 2014 I went in for a 100,000 service on my Honda Odyssey minivan. They quoted me $1250 which I was fine with and knew it would cost that much to replace the belt and spark plugs. I also had three recalls that were being fixed for free. I commented on the wheel turning and a noise on the rt side. They called me with the problems of those two thing and quoted price, I happily paid to have them fixed for a grand total over $2100. When I got home I noticed they didn't screw in to screws in the bottom of the van on the inside from where they did a recall repair. So I grabbed my screwdriver and tighten the inside bolts down in the floor. When I picked up my van I noticed I had needed an oil change the light was on and they didn't even call me to see if I would like to have that done. And my low tire pressure gauge was still on. At the time I thought it was poor customer service to not even note that my van needed some other maintenance done. Two weeks later my Van won't start. I jumped it and took it back to Honda, and requested them do an oil change while they were looking at it. They called me saying it was cables were good and battery was good just needed to be cleaned off from corrosion. Happily paid, got home and my Van still didn't want to start right up. My husband pops the hood and sees: They just sprayed the connectors on the battery with WD-40 and didn't even clean them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They charged me for just spraying WD-40 on them! So mad. What happened to customer service? I will NEVER take my Van to honda in Etown again, EVER! Either they have to many vehicles to work on or pay enough attention to the ones they have in the service department to give the proper care to customers. Overall horrible. Several years ago I use to be very happy with Honda in etown! What I expect: I expected them to look over my vehicle and call me with ANY issues they saw. Hook it up to the computer and tell me what the computer sees if any issues. Possibly vacuum it out and wash it. I really could do without the last two things but surely they SAW the corrosion around the battery when they replaced the belt and spark plugs and did NOTHING. Heck they didn't even finish putting the screws back in the floor of the van where they took it apart! How much does it cost now for TRUE customer care? Do NOT take your Honda to Honda Service Dept in Elizabethtown, KY.... You will be highly disappointed. read more

My wife and I purchased a 2016 CRV Touring Dec 22, 2016. We traded in a 2012 CRV base model. Both of these purchases were handled in a professional manner. The process of purchasing the new CRV went well and Russell Meredith worked out a great deal for us. Robyn Embry took care of the mountain of paperwork required to finalize the deal efficiently and effectively. We left the dealership quite happy with the new CRV and with the deal they gave us. Our experience with the service department has been outstanding during the time we owned the 2012 CRV and would expect the same professional service with our new CRV. We highly recommend this dealer to anyone who is interested in purchasing a Honda vehicle and we recommend contacting Russell to work the deal. When I read any negative comments about a product or company I take the comments with a grain of salt. Everyone should know that there are two sides to every story. Finally, I would recommend that when a review is written be sure the words are spelled correctly. Update: We had a minor wreck with the CRV. Damage to the right side of the vehicle. Took it to Hardin County Honda (HCH) to have the repairs completed. There are not enough words to tell everyone about the wonderful service that was provided by the personnel in the body shop. We picked the vehicle today (July 10th). It took only nine working days to have the repairs completed. The CRV looks like new. Cannot tell it had been damaged. We are very satisfied customers. If want to purchase a Honda and you live in this area, there is no need to drive to Louisville or another city to invest in a new or used Honda. I brought my Acura TL in for a new timing belt to be installed and was very happy with the service I received. I could tell by the feedback I was given that the techs knew their stuff and were not trying to sell me anything I didn't need. The repair cost was fair and I was even given a coupon by the staff to save a little $ off the total bill. I was happy to get my car back and feel a significant improvement. Everyone from service, parts, and cashier were polite, professional, and happy to help. Would highly recommend. If your car is damaged and the insurance company tells you that they're going to pay for two hour inspection, Do not take your car to Hardin county Honda! I have bought two cars and paid cash from Hardin County Honda in the past. So I thought I could trust them to do a honest inspection on my car. When I spoke with the master mechanic at Hardin County Honda he would not give me his findings from inspecting my car. I was told "it's completely up to the insurance inspector." I asked the question "why did the insurance company pay you for a two hour inspection if you're not going to inspect my car? He just said "it was totally up to the insurance company." So I guess the two hour inspection is just the insurance company paying to have a shop. The insurance company obviously came back and said they're not taking responsibility for my car, they did not want to pay to have my car fixed after it was damaged, All I wanted was someone to give an honest opinion and tell the truth, I did not get that. I did end up taking this to small claims court and I won! So my vice to you is do not give up!! jump through the hoops do what you need to do until someone is honest. Four months later this experience-is finally over. Do not let the insurance company that has to pay you decide if they're going to pay you! read more

I wish I could give negative stars for this company. One of my soldier went there to buy a vehicle. Sales person gave him a price and my soldier puts out $200 to hold the vehicle while he waits on USAA to approve his car loan. Comes back with an approved loan from USAA and then is told that they made a mistake on the price and bummed up the price. My soldier then declined the deal and asked for his money back. He was then told the 200 was a transfer fee for the vehicle.... Needless to say, we are taking up our case with legal and I will be pushing to get this company on the "off-limits" list. Oh and BTW for all my fellow service members serving or retired, the GM hates dealing with military. I hope other SM take the time to research any company they are trying to do business with. read more

Drive to another service department if you can or another honda dealership for recall repairs. The absolute worse service department I've ever experienced. Appointment at 7:30 for recall repair, recall paper states about 30 minute repair, service department states 2-3 hours. I called at 1:35 pm, svc rep out to lunch and no one else could tell me if it's done. He never called back. I called again at 3:15 - he's busy; no one can tell me if it's done. Someone else calls couple minutes later stating it's done. Not the first time this happened to me. Oil change took 2 1/2 hours couple times! Won't happen ever again with this dealership! read more

Mid-January I purchased a 2007 Honda Accord from Hardin County Honda. The majority of my experience was good. I bought the vehicle as is. I inspected the vehicle inside and out to make sure that there was no major blemishes or markings that might deter me from purchasing the car. We sat down to do the financing and back-in-forth price negotiations. After we agreed on a price we also agreed on a detailing job at a later date (about 2 weeks). I asked them to only run my credit through one specific agency that I preferred to be financed with. They are local and I have a great relationship with that particular agency. A couple weeks after the deal was closed I received letters from 3-5 different financial institutions that have run my credit. That was disappointing. The major complaint is as follows: I take my care in to have it detailed. After a 2 hr detail (understandable) I get my car back, leave the lot to head home (1 1/2 hours away) (several spots were missed but I let it slide). After 45 minutes down the road I look in the back seat and see that they cracked my passenger side door covering. It's about a three inch crack. I immediately send a picture to my sales rep and he escalates the problem to his manager. They decided that they wanted to split the cost of repairs, making mine end of the deal just under $600.00. But I didn't break it. They said they cannot prove the paneling was not that way when I got it. I asked them to pull up the original photos, they said they erased them. Every picture has a digital footprint, you can find it. They denied to do so and said they can't prove that I didn't break it myself. What do I have to gain from breaking a door panel?? If I came to your house and ran into your mailbox how would you feel I offered to split the cost of the repair instead of fixing it myself; I was the one who broke it so I am responsible for the complete cost of fixing my mistake. This became more than about the crack it became about the principal of the matter. If they had not suggested I was lying and being deceitful I may have just let it go. I tried to reach their GM via email and phone once a week for 4-5 weeks and never even received any correspondence. Escalating this to an attorney may prove to be very costly. So, please just be aware of dealing with them. Honda's are great products but it seems like this dealership does not want to earn your repeat business. I plan on reaching out to Honda HQ and informing them of my experience. read more
