I was visiting a relative at the Lake and got on one of the backroads. We had a full car including a toddler so I put the spare on and searched for the closest tire shop so I would not have to drive back home the next day on the spare. The closest shop was Big O Tires and despite getting there about an hour before they closed on a Saturday rather then turn us away Jordan who check ed us in assured us they could get the tire fixed. After a brief wait we were informed the tire was able to be patches and there was no charge. This is the second place in Missouri I've gone to and got screwed on tire service, specifically balancing. I had a tire develop a bubble and got both rears replaced because Big O was the closest place that carries the same tires. I left from there, having had them rotate to new ones to the front, since my work car is a FWD. got on the highway and the vibrations were absolutely terrible. I turned around and went straight back. They rotated them to the rear and told me both of those wheels are bent... Ok, didn't believe that so I took the car to Walmart after dealing with the vibrations for a couple weeks. Walmart pulled them off and told me 5oz of weights were stuck to one side and 4.5 to the other, which is insane considering these are Japanese wheels, never had any be that bad. Walmart road-force balanced them, then put 1oz on one and 3/4oz on the other and they balanced out just fine. Got on the highway and hit Mexico speeds, not a hint of vibration. Either Big O needs a different balancing machine or better trained techs. Morale of the story is, Walmart balances your wheels properly, while everywhere else I've been in south Missouri can't seem to get it right. read more

We had a flat tire Saturday July 2024. We were told lies, left us waiting for 6 hours. Lied. Manager inisted no tire available in Lake of Ozarks. His tech did bad work he said. Told us he would drive to Lebanon to get tire at 2:30 he was to close. Math is not inhis equation. Tire was on at 4:00. Yeah you guessed it. Flat Sunday morning. You should have seen his numbers of angry customers awaiting their 5 hour wait for no repaired vehicle sabatoge. Do not go there. Bas bad bad. read more

Brought my car in to have the power steering pump looked at they said the bearings were bad and they didn't mess with my pulley but it was loose and also they broke my key fob so I will never bring my car back there would not recommend to bring your car there and my old car they replaced a part that did not even need to replaced and I got there and it was still running the same way rough I just can not with them they are not experience like they say they are and denied everything that they did to my car read more

I went there to get a tire repaired. The tires were bought at a different Big O and could not find the warranty information so the guy said they would not charge us. I was there an hour and a half because they were really busy. He told me that they let air out of the tires because they weee overfilled. They put them at 36-37 lbs. the tire say 44. Today we get a flat while out of town and figure out that they never fixed the tire! read more

I've had a lot of work on my car, including oil changes, new tires, front end alignment, etc. Each and every time was pleasant from start to finish. When I would call ahead to and make the appointment, I would informed them that my daughter was wheelchair-bound. They would always do their very best to get us in and out as quickly as possible so as to avoid any pain or discomfort. Cannot tell you how much that means to me and my family member. Waited an hour car had not moved, other cars were going in and out. 40 min in I asked and was told we were next. 20 min after they took in another car. Incompetent in their scheduling and lied to my face, by Nate. Took to Kwik car upon leaving with nothing done, in and out in 15 min. Kwik car is the place to go. read more

I was very satisfied with my Visit today. I was walk in and they took me on the spot. I had called the dealership a week ago to make an appointment. They couldn't even see me until early next week. I really needed my car looked at as I was leaving for the airport and didn't want to risk my trip. Not only did they not charge me for the assessment and the dealership typically charges $150 just to find the problem. They got me fixed up and on my way same day. They did not tell me anything I didn't need. I feel very confident using the shop. read more

After attempting to schedule a simple oil change online using Big O's website, I received an apparent auto-response informing me that their online scheduler wasn't synced with the store. Therefore, I had to reschedule two days later. Then, after arriving at the location at my new appointment time, I was told to sign in and someone would be with me. Well, after sitting there for 25 minutes, I asked if I could reschedule yet a THIRD time. They asked which day I wanted and I specified a day that they actually honored appointment times. They informed me that wasn't possible. That I had to add my name to the "list" like I suppose everyone did, walk ins included. So, I'm going to find somewhere else. I stopped in yesterday to have my tires checked. I had noticed they were squeeling a lot around corners, spinning upon take over and not great in the rain. I hadn't been to Big O in years because I had my oil changed at a place on Osage that washes your car and changes your oil. The place I had been going to always said they do a full inspection and days ago when I had my oil changed, they said my tires are "fine". Tyler immediately followed me outside to look at the treads. Sure enough, he said two of my tires were almost bald. It was disappointing to know I was about to take off the next day on a three day road trip on tires that might not be safe. I couldn't believe the place I had been going to for years didn't say a word about my tires. After talking with Tyler more, he said he would work on trying to get my tires in his shop before the end of the day so I could have new tires before we leave for our trip. Within 5 minutes, Tyler had arranged for someone to deliver my tires to him and scheduled an appointment same day to have them replaced. My car was ready same day. I can't thank Tyler enough for his quick response and getting my car back on the road safely in time for our big trip. Thank you Tyler and Big O Tires for keeping me and my family safe. read more

This place does NOT stand by the products they sell!!!! I bought a new battery at the end of Feb 2019 for my car, now 7 months later I had to have the battery replace and it was done else where, they gave me the big o battery and advised to take back to where I bought it because it was a bad battery, so I did. Big o said that is the battery had not been replaced then they could warranty it out for a new battery but because the battery had been replaced already they couldn't do anything in this situation, refused to stand by the battery THEY sold me saying that it's the supplies that do the warranty so I am just SOL They did say I could take to to auto zone and turn it in as a core but that's it If your not gonna stand by the products u sell why would you sell them Do not take your car here they are con artist and rip off customers at every chance they get read more

I was on my way to the woods and go deer hunting When my tire light came on. So after this morning hunt . I ran up to Big O and I figured they make me wait or come back on Monday. It was 11;30am when I got there and they got me right in. Fix it. And on my way less then a hour. I was truly amazed and they where so nice. They show great customer service. If you value your money and property, do not take your vehicle here. I my truck lifted and bigger off road tires put on it and they didn't properly balance the rear wheels. I took the truck back and their excuse was that the tire had a lip and they couldn't balance them so they put balance beads in them. I returned later to get new tires for the front and told them they needed to pull the balance beads out and figure out a way to properly balance the rear to which they stated that they did not use balance beads. Also when I put the off road tires on it, I told them I wanted the original tires back because they still have 75% life left. I told them to throw them in the bed under the bed cover. I got home and went to unload the tires and they weren't there. I called and told them I wanted them and they told me they would pull them out and stack them up. I went in the next day and they said "They're gone already. Recycler picked them up yesterday.". Later I took a lifted jeep in to get off road tires put on it. I decided to walk outside to see what was taking so long, I observed that they were using both a torch and sledge hammer on my frame, all without my permission. They then brought the vehicle out and the tires still rubbed very badly even after they damaged my vehicle without permission. Between my Truck and Jeep, they managed to get $7,000 out of me, never again will I return for that kind of cut rate service. Recently my father, who is an ASE certified master mechanic who teaches automotive at a reputable college took a vehicle to get inspected. They then attempted to illegally up sell him $800 in parts that were acceptable and then got mouthy with him when he called them out on it. He ultimately took it to the highway patrol who found the parts to be acceptable and they wrote Big O up because of it. read more
