Then, I brought my Blazer in for the manifold gaskets. I paid them $600 to do it, and when I got it back, I had to replace two hoses that had been damaged during repairs just so I could drive it. Don't bring your enemies car here.

On September 3, 2021 I went to S & T Auto Sales LLC, 1211 Washington St, Chillicothe, Mo…read more 660-973-7200 and spoke with Andrew Thomas. I looked at a 2001 Hyundai Elantra, vin. KMHDN45D81V217985. The price was $3,000.00. I then took the Elantra to Friendly Tire and Lube, 721 Washington St., Chillicothe, Mo. 64601 660-646-5900 for a pre buy inspection for any needed repairs and damage. I know the mechanic put the car up on a lift to inspect underneath of the car, that's part of a pre buy inspection and how he would have seen the control arm. I paid him $35.00 for the pre buy car inspection and he gave me a slip of paper with all needed repairs, they are : oil change, lower control arm, cv axle, purge canister, exhaust flo pipe, and needs inspection. There was no mention of any rust. Based on what the repairs needed were and how much that would cost I decided to buy the car for a reduced price of $2,500.00 due to the repairs cost of about $650.00. Since the car was not drivable due to the control arm (I was told) I asked Andrew to deliver the car to my home at Carrollton, Mo. 64633. He delivered the car and gave me the keys. My mechanic, Hughes Auto Repair LLC, 508 E 3rd St, Carrollton, Mo. 64633. (660) 542-1630, was backed up on cars waiting for repairs so I got the car towed to his repair shop, then with time waiting on the parts to be delivered, he wasn't able to get to the car until Tuesday, October 4, 2021. They put the car up on the lift and it had so much rust damage on the frame and underneath that it started to break in two and they had to put it down. The car is not repairable and would never be safe to drive and would never pass inspection. I called Andrew and told him about the rust damage and requested a full refund, then he asked to speak to my mechanic here in carrollton, he said he would call me back, he never called me back, I called him again and asked for a full refund for the second time and he refused. Since the car was put up on a lift the mechanic at Friendly Tire and Lube had to have seen the rust and the extent of the rust damage since he saw the control arm. At one point during the pre buy car inspection Andrew walked out of the waiting room and to the garage area where the car was being inspected. I feel this is definitely fraud. If the employee at Friendlys had told me about the rust I wouldnt have bought the car.

This is the way buying a car should be! It felt the same as going into my local store and buying a…read morelawn tractor! This dealership is trustworthy, honest, and helpful. Their prices are the lowest I could find anywhere in the KC region. They make buying a vehicle pleasant!! I had been looking for a vehicle for over a month and dealing with other dealerships before finding Woody's. When I saw their prices, I honestly thought they were going to mark up the online price like the others do, until the price was thousands over what the website actually states. Woody's does not have fake add on's that they try making you purchase. They offer additional coverage but do not push it on you or make you feel like you have to purchase it. They are truly selling cars honestly!! From the time I started asking questions about two vehicles I was comparing until the time I purchased, Kyler was the most pleasant person I have ever worked with!! He answered all the questions I had, was patient with my lack of trust (due to other dealerships), and listened to my wants and needs in a vehicle. When I came in for my appointment to test drive the two vehicles, he did not try swaying me one way or the other in my purchase. He was knowledgeable about the features and capabilities of the vehicles and how they affected my needs. In fact, he pointed out features in both that would match what I was looking for. He does not match the stereotype of a car salesman!! Lol. He is a wonderful honest midwestern guy!! Jeff, in finance, was amazing!! He explained every single paper I was signing. He made sure I understood everything. He even explained when and what I needed to do with insuring and licensing after purchase. He even stayed late so I could complete everything that night. I was having a hard time finding a ride (I live an hour away) so I could drive my vehicle home, and they offered to deliver it for me free of charge!! The gentlemen who delivered it were so kind as to do it the same night as my purchase, and had it in my driveway at 7:30 that night! I am still so thankful for this!! I am forever thankful I found this dealership and will continue recommending them to everyone I meet! I am not just Wowed, I am Flabbergasted! Maybe they should change their name to FlabbergastedFreds!! Lol!!!

Woody's had two vehicles I was interested in. So I drove over to see the vehicles and one of them had a dead battery so was unable to drive it so had to drive back the next day to see it (and my drive is about 45 minutes away). The next day I was able to see the second vehicle however could not get an answer to negotiate pricing because the "decision maker" was already gone for the day so I would need to come back tomorrow. So my husband and I make the third trip to Chillicothe to wrap up this deal on the vehicle I decided on and am told they will only honor that price if I finance with them.....AND I can only put down 10%........and then I find out this is basically a bait and switch scheme because their rates are ridiculous!! I could have financed with my local bank for less than half of what they financed me for!! And they require me to keep this super high rate note for 5 months before I can pay it off!! So.....I am posting this feedback to save others the grief I went through!! And.....on top of that it took us nearly 4 hours to sign all the paperwork to purchase our vehicle!! And, they had 4 girls in the office trying to figure out how to do Docusign paperwork and STILL didn't know how to do it!! I was having to show them how to get into signature mode! And I eventually had to leave for an appointment and they STILL missed signatures and had to send paperwork home with my husband for me to sign and send back hardcopy because they missed things!! And another thing I negotiated in our transaction was a full tank of gas and was assured this would be done......well, you guessed it.......when my husband left the dealership he barely had enough fumes to coast into a nearby gas station to get gas!! That is the gratitude you get these days for a $65,000 vehicle purchase!! And on top of that about a week later I get a phone call asking me if I would like to come in take a look a Jeep Grand Cherokee......I could not believe it!! They had NO IDEA that I was a customer!! If inventory was available at another dealership I would NOT have done business here......but inventory is lacking and I did not have a choice :( PS The first thing I did was remove the WOW Woody's logo from the back of my vehicle.....I was NOT going to give them ANY advertisement!! And WOW Woody's is right.........WOW.........I can't believe how sideways everything went!!
