We had Big O do breaks, snow tires and alignment. A few days later the car was not driving well. I called and this team drove to my house about 50 miles away from the shop to check out everything! They didn't want me driving in case it was unsafe (it wasn't). They repaired a break line and test drove it to make sure everything was perfect. On a road trip from CA, we got a flat about 50 miles from the nearest town which was Craig. Spoke with Austin when we got cell service...he was very helpful from our first call. They were able to patch our tire within an hour and a half(it was quite busy on a Saturday). We were so thankful they could fit us in and especially that they were able to repair and honest to not try to sell us a replacement. Austin also took time to show us the best tires to get when it is time for new tires, even though he knew it wouldn't be from them. read more

You walk into the Lobby and three employees look right at you then turn around walk back out into the shop and left me standing there for like 10 minutes, So I go walking around out in the shop and finally some guy walks up and talked to me, I said I needed an estimate for a front end alignment he says okay and they pulled my car in and said they would have the estimate the "FOLLOWING DAY" AND TO MY DISAPPOINTMENT THEY HAD NOT DONE THE ESTIMATE 24 HOURS LATER. Store needs new management. Very disorganized and not very professional as far as business operations. Made an appointment for some service on a vehicle only to arrive and be told a worker called in sick and they couldn't complete the work. One service technician on a Saturday is unacceptable and a reflection of piss poor management. read more

I took my jeep Wrangler in there for a simple tire rotation and oil change. Started the jeep up in their parking lot and my red check oil light came on. Shortly after that, my check engine light came on. They told me it was fine to leave the parking lot with that red light on my instrument panel. They told me to bring it back next week so they could take care of it. I had a visiting mechanic come to my house Saturday night to take a look at my jeep. He insisted that I do not drive it and I called Big O tire to have them flatbed back to their shop for diagnostics. They would not admit that they made a mistake. My jeep has been there for a whole week and I kept getting pushed off every day telling me that they didn't have time to get it. The manager kept insisting that they did not do anything wrong. I had to take my son-in-law down there with me this past Wednesday to talk to him. My son-in-law works on Jeep wranglers for a living. It turns out today that they realized it was the wrong size oil filter after ripping half of the engine apart to get to the sensor to see if that was the problem. I have free tire rotations at this place and I will NEVER go back again. I don't trust that they will even torqued my lug nuts like they're supposed to be. The mechanics look like a bunch of morons, and so is the manager Cole. Why couldn't he just admit that they made a mistake and stopped trying to blame me as if my jeep had a problem before it came in. read more

Fixed two tires with slow leaks for me right away at a very fair price. One had a nail in it, the other a rock. They diagnosed my tire pressure sensor issue free of charge. Very nice people all around and I have no reservation giving them five stars. read more

Had unbelievable luck and ended up with 2 flat tires out in the sandwash basin. We we able to get one patched up and make it back to town... The next day we were rudely turned away in steamboat springs at Yampa valley tire, who "doesn't stock tires" due to "remote location in the mountains." and are dicks on top of it. so screw them. Made a call to Big O tires and they said they had a tire and could help out. Purchased 1 tire and asked that they switch the spare tire to one of the regular rims, and then replace the other flat, then had to have them put the patched tire on the spare rim. So kind of a lot of messing around. They were really great about it and had me fixed up and back on the road in no time. They even put my spare tire back up in its place in the rear of the truck. I completely did not expect that or ask them to. Great service and nice people. read more

I called earlier in the week and made an appointment for 12:30 on Friday the 13th. Store was total chaos upon arrival with hunters and people without appointments. At 1:30 my vehicle was still in the parking lot and only after inquiring did they get started on it. When tires were mounted and installed, they said I was done. Had to point out that my appointment included an alignment and naturally they were behind on those too! Not once did anyone ever apologize for the delay! Craig is in Moffat County with Safer at Home COVID rating. It was absolutely unbelievable that none of the employees were wearing masks and during my 3 hours at the facility, I never saw higher than 25% compliance with the Colorado Mask Mandate! At one point, I counted 11 customers on the property and I was the only one wearing a mask. Never again! read more

Had a tire fail. The folks at this Big O were very kind and helpful. Even thought I didn't by the replacement tire from them (no fault of theirs) they put my spare on for me for no charge. They served me at no cost with no pressure! I wouldn't hesitate to use them in the future. read more

Decent service but took advantage of my daughter for no reason at all. Luckily, had me to guide her through correctly and talk to them, to have the problem mysteriously fixed, and blamed on something else. But still had to pay for the problem that was never really there. read more

Absolutely outstanding service, and friendly employees! My girlfriend and I were road tripping through that part of the state and picked up a flat tire while stopped at the local Walmart. She drives a Subaru, and when one tires goes, it is likely that all tires (if worn) will need to be replaced. Of course, this was much to our dismay when we were informed up this. However, the gentlemen who helped us there encouraged we call Subaru dealerships for their opinion, as to how best to handle the situation, as well as the other tire sellers in town. We did, and for our misfortune, he sold us 4 tires at a discounted rate, and gave us the road hazard package free of charge. I am not sure if others would be so fortunate to find a place like this, but if you're in Craig and need tires, I highly recommend you stop in to the Big O Tires there. read more

In Craig there is not many tire store choices but I had purchased tires that was at fair price. Also, oil changes and brakes repairs ....... what concerns me most is employee don't stay long and I really very satisfied with each person that provided me with customer service. They seem knowledgeable when asked for suggestions for my vehicles automotive needs. Pretty friendly for a clickish community. read more

Highly disappointed. I had an alignment done here and my camber bolts loosened up 2 days later enough that every time I turned the wheel, my tires would pivot. This was 3 weeks ago. I am a general manager in Steamboat and am very short staffed so this is the first chance I got to bring my truck back to get checked out. They said that I was close to the 5000 mile warranty and that since my last visit I had some parts wear out to where they can't do the alignment right for me. So I have to pay for the parts I supposedly need before they'll do anything for me. Not willing to pay more for a service that should have been done right the first time. This is also not the only thing that's happened at this location, from what a few others have told me. I will take my money elsewhere from now on. We are traveling around the country this year with a big 5th wheel trailer and had a flat just north of town the other day. The wheel ended up getting damaged too so we were in need of a new wheel and tire before getting back on the road. I visited Big O and got very straight-forward advice and options from Kenny there and we ordered a new tire. They didn't have access to the alloy wheel manufacturer but were happy to accept shipment when I found the wheel on the web. When the wheel and tire were available they quickly performed the change over and also helped me out with an issue I was dealing with on the dually. Travis, Kenny and the tech were very helpful and the pricing was very reasonable. We did have a problem with the tire supply house (in Junction) sending the wrong tire, but they were able to work with me to resolve it and I don't think it was their fault in the first place. Bottom line is that I don't expect to find people this helpful at most tire stores and was pleasantly surprised. read more

I live in Steamboat but I store my extra summer or winter tires in Craig. For the first time I decided to use Big O in Craig and I was blown away by the service!!!!! I will forever drive from steamboat for all my tire needs. There is a young blonde girl that works there with tattoos, she was exceptional!!! She changed my winter tires to my summer tires in 20 mins, as well as being very friendly and funny. Her customer service skills were above and beyond, she even gave me a discount! More places need employees like her, I will definietly be back time and time again. read more

I honestly have to say Big O in Craig Colorado Rocks ! My crew and I were on our way to the Gates of Lodore hauling an oversize boat trailer. Unfortunately we discovered an axle problem once we arrived in Craig late Saturday afternoon, no time to get parts or repair. We contacted Big O Tires and spoke with Jeremy, he had us drop the trailer and assured us that he would have it repaired and ready for the shuttle company to pick up to transport to the boat take out once we ended our river trip.
