This food made my dog sick. He is used to raw food and usually has no trouble. I think it's fatty and made from floor scraps.

I came in looking for a small fish after finding out that their gold fish prices are 30 dollars for a small size gold fish. After not showing any interest she asked me to leave the store saying it closes at 7:00 pm which it was 6:40. After I left, the two owner mocked me in a very unprofessional manner saying "I bet you have never been kicked out of a store before" as well as implying that I don't have any money because 30 dollars for a gold fish is normal. The female owner said "you are very stupid you probably think that the world is square because you don't know anything". They have a no picture sign in front of their store which confused me at first but now I totally understand why, some of their gold fishes had bubble eye disease which explains the no picture. If you are just browsing the fish section I would suggest you to say I am looking for a fish to fit in my ponds me try to sound interested or you will get kicked out very fast in a unprofessional manner.

The prices are pretty good for supplies, plants and fish. If you pay in cash, you get a discount. My boyfriend and I came in to buy some plants and fish. I bought a cabomba plant which is doing well today. It was extremely long and green, as of current I have not spotted any pests but I did do a dip for it. My boyfriend bought a super red betta and some galaxy rasboras. The betta was sold to us at a low price because I think he had a bit of a deformity. He is doing well in his new tank and eating healthy. The galaxy rasboras were okay, but they did seem to have flukes so we had to treat them for that. One ended up dying to a deformity unfortunately. Apart from that, they are fairly healthy and eating well. The fish seem to be generally well taken care of. The tanks are sparsely planted. There is a good selection of shrimp, including green, black and velvet shrimp which is something you don't often see. Overall, it's a nice cozy shop and the owner was very kind. He was helpful and gave up tips on how to acclimate the fish. The prices are also great compared to other stores. I recommend it.

This store is small, but packed with lots of merchandise. Am sure there's something for all pets,…read morebut good luck in finding it. Luckily the store is small, so it won't take long meandering up and down each aisles. Customer service is very lacking in this store and never once was I offered any help while I was browsing (and I've been to this store a handful of times). Two cashiers working on Saturday morning and I was in and out of the store without anyone acknowledging me. And the store wasn't busy on this particular Saturday morning, two customers at cash and one roaming around in the store. I usually drop in on Saturdays after my workout since I'm in Liberty Village, but I definitely prefer going to my local pet store in my neighbourhood because they always welcome me in the store even after it's been a long time since my last visit. Why can't staff just smile or say hello upon customers entering? The checkout is right at the entrance so it's definitely easy to do, isn't it?

They had a pretty terrible selection, and an elderly female employee was helping me search through their messy pile to find something suitable for my dog. I expressed concern at the time of purchase saying that it's not what my dog was used to and that I hoped she would like it. Well- it turns out she didn't like it... I tried coaxing her in with treats and she just wouldn't even step foot in the bed. I returned to Global Pet Foods the next day, less than 24 hours later, and spoke to the SAME elderly female employee about returning the bed. This employee was extremely rude and condescending and told me that returns were not allowed on pet beds. I reminded her that I was just in last night, and that I purchased the bed from her, and that surely she remembered my hesitation in buying the bed in the first place. She wouldn't budge, simply jabbing her finger at the receipt and saying no returns. I expressed that I wish she would have told me that when I was debating whether or not to purchase the bed in he first place. She said "it smells doggy"- which is just an outright lie, but even if it DID... Duh, this is a pet store! Everything smells doggy! I told her I had the bed less than 24 hours and that my dog never stepped foot in it. And at this she basically just scoffed in my face. My patience was wearing thin so rather than explode at her for being so ignorant, I gave her the dog bed back and said that she could consider it a donation. A return policy is one thing, but treating your customers like criminals is another. This branch of Global Pet Foods obviously had NO interest in creating loyal customers. I will never shop in this store again.
