Aside from this annoyance, I have to say I quite like this location because it's large, well organized, well stocked and feels clean when you walk in as compared to some other PetSmart locations I have gone to. The staff are friendly, and helpful. *I have seen other customer reviews regarding grooming/pet boarding experiences which is quite disturbing and unacceptable to say the least- I have never used their boarding or grooming services so my review is not about that. I'm the kind of shopper who knows what they came for; quick in and out, which is why the line up really bothers me so much.

Update: I officially need a new pet store…read more I used to love this place and not just because it was so close. They also had this adorable cat that used to greet you but most importantly I felt like the owners tried much harder. They are still friendly and polite but as I explained in my last update things seem to be steadily declining. They do not keep up with current information on products, and I know they are not experts but they should at least know their own companies policies. As I said they are pleasant people and I don't find their store disorganized or unkept so I'm not sure what happened but my bunnies need another go to pet store soon because my faith in this one is crumbling fast. I have been frequenting this pet store for many years now though mostly out of convenience of location. This particular store I find much smaller then most pet values, it's fairly neatly organized and they do generally keep their stock replenished which is something I struggled with at other per value locations. They are located in Burnhamthorpe plaza and although the plaza usually has plentiful parking, this particular store has only one parking spot designated to it. Tucked away out of sight behind the old galati supermarket, it's actually pretty dangerous to get in and out of without the fear of hitting cars or pedestrians coming around the blind corner. They have fairly predictable stock, decent dog and cat selection but like most pet stores there isn't that great of a selection for small animals which sucks for me and my buns! I've tried to discuss custom order options and as nice as the owner seems I'm not sure of his knowledge of pet related topics and even his awareness of his own companies policies. I've been getting large bails of hay shipped to the store to retrieve straight from the manufacturers before, not sure if it was from Pet Value but when I attempted to inquire about doing that at this location he couldn't even fathom what I was talking about. Ive been going to this location on and off for years as it is the only pet store within miles however I have run into a fair few circumstances were he just could not find a solution or flat out didn't understand what I was talking about. There are a lot of options now a days in regards to pet stores and one of the things I like to look for is knowledgeable staff. Im no expert by any means so when I venture into an establishment I do expect the staff to be able to help me make educated decisions. That being said the gentleman is just that, an absolute gentleman. Very polite, attentive and pleasant which does make the experience a pleasant one and I haven't come across too many pet stores boasting pet gurus just yet so maybe I'm being just a tad critical. Over all I def will be returning regardless as they are convenient and they do carry my buns fav food and their oxbow timmy hay
