Whoaaaa, everything turned out better than I Wanted. Not expected. Better than I Wanted. Talk about delight! Fresh basil was used that offered an excellent accent to the roasted tomatoes that were cut to a convenient size so that the tomato wasn't overwhelming or hard to fit in a casual bite. Generous portion of avocado - I think they used a whole avocado that made me gush with joy. The beetroot hummus was lightly spread so that the quality fresh bread wasn't soggy and the focus of the dish was truly the avocado and roasted tomatoes. The corn, poached egg, radish, and basil were excellent complements that extended the heavenly taste. And that halloumi. Can never go wrong with halloumi. Now that cheeky chai. Had with (bon)soy. One of the best chais I've had, hands down. I literally scraped every last bit of my plate AND every last bit of my pot of chai tea because every last bit could not be wasted. As a cafe, Cook & Archies is near perfect: simple, delicious, modern and with excellent service. Strong coffee, fresh juices prepared on site, good baked goods and nice staff. Just terrific.
