Waiting for dinner
Jennifer S.

Headed to go camping, figured we would stop for gas and find something to eat. I don't ever expect GF when traveling unless looking for it. We had our own gf bread in the RV, was just gonna get the burgers w no bread and to go and eat in the RV. Took a chance and asked anyways, They had GF buns! The burger was so good! Everything was so fresh and they didn't skimp on the toppings. Hubs had a chicken sandwich and he said it was super flavorful. They serve alcohol, all the things. Small selection in each category When leaving i thought to ask ( for the review) If they had Gf pizza crust. Yes!!! She did say usually unless it's between orders.

pizza and burger were good, but i can't bolster them with any additional praise and fries were disappointing. sometimes you want an EXPERIENCE at a restaurant and this one just flatlined. but the location carried and we walked around in the park by the river after

Fried pickles were yummy with a slight kick!

Great hole in the wall place to catch lunch! We will try their pizza on our way back from trip!

Lucky find!!!

Continuing the journey home we found a great little spot in nestled in Arlington, Oregon - which you really wouldn't find if you weren't looking. This young lady and her cook really know how to do it! The All American breakfast is definitely a plateful of fill you up for the road! The eggs were cooked a perfect over medium and bacon light and crispy, not greasy. Coffee was perfect and she even offered one for the road! Of note: While credit/debit cards are accepted, there is a $2 charge and "Cash is King" here!!

Chicken sandwiches and crinkle fries!

We've come here three times (the three photos) and each time, service is great and food is amazing. You can tell the meats are fresh, fries are nice and crispy, and pizza dough is so airy. This will always be the place to stop when we drive through.

Menu

I'm In the area a couple days for work and pizza sounded good but I've become hesitant in small towns with pizza as it's usually not that great. This however was fantastic and definitely exceeded my expectations. Whether you're staying/living here or just driving through i highly recommend eating here.

I look it the reviews, and the photos, and she said yasss please. Mom too. I got to tell you I got a lot of pizza reviews from the Canadian border to the California border and everywhere in between, all up and down 1-5 and across I-84. This is in my top 5. The photos I saw show this humongous crust and I thought I'd be giving it mostly to my three dogs we were traveling with. Nope. Nice and thin. Great chew. Folded like the ones I get in NYC. Really fresh ingredients. Super friendly staff. Don't know how I missed his place over the many years I took this route but that won't be the case going forward. Boardman?? There's not a lot there but you got to try the pizzas at this place. They got one for every taste. The side salad was incredible with totally fresh ingredients and cashews. Where do you get cashews on a salad? BURNT FIELD, that's where. I wish they were in Portland. I buy a pizza a week for sure.

When we arrived, we were informed that they did not actually sell coffee any longer. Despite being disappointed, my husband decided to grab a beer and I ordered a seltzer. The space itself was simple with ample indoor and outdoor seating. Apparently they are known for their pizza, but we had just eaten lunch not too long prior and were not hungry. I don't know if we would ever find ourselves in this area of Oregon again but if we did, we might come back to try the pizza.
