Absolutely Impressed with this Deli that easily rivals places like Eppes Essen or Hoby's in terms of tenderness of meats. Their pastrami and corned beef was juicy and delicious. The portions were just right and they are very accommodating. The soups were homemade and yummy and prices fair for portion size. Would for sure return again and again . Plus- there is a parking Lot on the side of building. Stop in- sandwhich menu is huge , sides are homemade and genuine have best ice tea and lemonaif

Whoa! The sandwichs are the biggest I have ever seen here. Loads of meat seasoned perfectly. My kids really liked this deli too.

I'm so glad they finally opened their brick and mortar location. It's so hard to find a good pastrami spot. If you grew up on Cooper's, this definitely hits the spot. I've visited the food truck a few times and finally checked out the restaurant. Location isn't bad. You have to find street parking. I'm sure it can be challenging depending on what time of day you go. I walked in and there were quite a bit of people waiting but I don't think I waited more then 15 minutes for 4 sandwiches to be made. I got pastrami on rye with mustard. I wish I had more mustard but I'll be more specific the next time I visit. The pastrami was great. Not super fatty. I had the seafood salad. It was shrimp and imitation crab meat but it was good. They ran out of bean pies. I can't wait to try. I'd highly recommend them. Customer service was great. They have good ordering system. You get a number when you order and they will call the number when it's ready. It's not a tiny space. A good amount of seating. Try them out!!

I visited Big Rocs first when he had his food truck and recently visited his restaurant on several occasions. I ordered pastrami sandwiches and corned beef. They were both delicious and very wholesome with lots of meat on the bread. They also offer several sides. I had the potato salad, and crab salad, cole slaw and they were all good. They sell various deserts which include bean pies , cupcakes and various puddings . They have tables seating and seating at the counter. They also have a small parking lot on the side of the building. It gets busy sometimes but it's worth the wait.

Ver expensive and greasy. The service was okay and the ambience was dark. Not sure if it's going to work out on that corner.

Their special that day was a fish wrap and I'm so glad I got it because it was fantastic. The fish was cooked perfectly and very flavorful. They paired it with some tartar sauce and some lettuce/tomato and it really hit the spot. They also had a fun Brazilian guarana soda that we tried and it was pretty tasty. I definitely recommend grabbing lunch here!

We walked there with thoughts of what to expect from the menu, and even if it didn't taste good and we got food poisoning, the ER was close by. On we went, got there, ordered some lamb with rice, salad hot sauce and asked for just a little it mayo sauce, did not order soda- trying to keep the belly sexy you know! Cost was $7.50, not bad right? Hmm it depends on how you look at it. Whether its organic or not, I won't get too crazy with it. We didn't eat there, and we walked back to the lounge and lunch began. Opened it, saw the yellow rice, not really a big fan of yellow rice if I don't know how it got to that color, the lamb was ok, but the food overall was SALTY. And it didn't knock me of my feet.

Ok so, the taco bowl was good. I'm assuming this is their house sauce on it, I liked it. It gives me bbq sauce family taste, so if you like that then you'll enjoy this. The blackened basa and shrimp was delightful. It is a little spicy spice so if you can't hand at all, this might not be for you. But if you can take a little kick of pepper and then some you'll enjoy it. And the shrimp was nice sized thick shrimp. I appreciated that! The chicken quesadilla was good? That saucy sauce they have is mixed in the middle, so be aware of that if you're looking for the more original taste of a quesadilla. This is a black owned business that I was soo excited to support, and I will be returning to continue to support them. Friendly service, I always like when the staff will talk and joke with you. There is parking on the nearest side street (Florence Ave), but no parking on the Main Street (Liberty Ave). I submitted updates to their info, but in case it doesn't work, their current address is the lot next to 1350 Liberty Ave, Hillside, NJ 07205. You can't really park in the lot itself as there is no driveway. You'd have to drive over the curb & sidewalk. I mean, I guess you could if you were willing to do that. Had the Oxtail empanadas, Walking (Beef) Taco, you provide the chips of your choice. Not a problem there is a 7-Eleven directly across the street, & the Oxtail Burrito. Everything was very good. They are expensive, so be prepared for that, but you get what you pay for. Grades: Oxtail Empanadas: A Walking Taco (Beef): A- Oxtail Burrito: B+
