I explained that I did not feel comfortable giving out my address, I just told him the area where I lived, then he told me he couldn't send me any information about the school unless I provided an address. Then he started questioning why I did not want to provide my address. When he finally understood that I was not giving him my address, he proceeded to hang up.

I have never witnessed such school pride; from the youngest toddler to the oldest senior getting ready to move on to college. The emphasis is on developing the entire character, not just churning out the next einstein. Strong both academically and athletically, HIES is a fabulous alternative to the other more obvious schools in town. It should also be noted that HIES is the largest Episcopal school in the country, but the feel is still very intimate and family-oriented.

I work alongside them at the fire department and they are key to assisting and supporting our efforts in education. I would recommend the school for anyone that lived within the city limits or just outside the area. They love to have community involvement they even take a third-grade walking field trip into the city area.

(I'll try to make this as brief as possible) When I PICKED my 3 year old up from this daycare (incident happened in the morning) I was informed that another 3 y/o had his hands in my daughters shorts. The teacher claims she was assisting other children in the restroom. I repeatedly asked to see the recording of the incident and was given the run around. Lucky for me I had the teacher write a statement for my own records. I withdrew my daughter and filed a complaint with Bright from the Start/DECAL. They investigated and found no evidence of poor supervision. I obtained a copy of their findings and to my surprise the daycare LIED!! They told the investigator that they never observed the boys hands in my daughters shorts!! That's PERJURY!! I was also surprised when I checked my credit report and Kiddie Kollege (H & A Credit) was listed. They charged me for her final week which was actually paid. They said they called trying to collect the balance but I pulled my call logs from ATT and I did not receive a single call from Kiddie Kollege or the collection agency. The place often times smelled like feces when I picked my child up. Probably from the babies with swollen diapers. **Please be advised that just because you file a complaint with decal it doesn't guarantee they will post the findings on their website. The info available on their website does not specify what incident occurred. I have informed DECAL and the perjury issue is now being investigated. We need to post our experiences on these public sites to warn other parents. I wont make this post all bad so I'll say the hours are great and Mrs. Nikki, who is no longer there, was a great help. FYI...THE OWNER, LINDA JOHNSON, WAS VERY NONCHALANT LIKE IT WAS NO BIG DEAL.
