Rangitsch Brothers RV and Manufactured Homes

I purchased a used toy hauler from Rangitsch Bros. RV Center in April 2026. I paid over $80,000 for…read moreit, paid their asking price without trying to negotiate, and expected that level of investment to come with quality customer service. Unfortunately, it did not. Before purchasing the RV, we pointed out several issues during the walkthrough, including damaged weatherstripping and other items that needed attention. After getting it home and inspecting it more thoroughly, I found even more problems: * Damaged weatherstripping. * Holes in the screen door. * The kitchen bench seat was missing an entire support leg because it had broken off, and the mounting bracket had never been reinstalled. * Missing T-handles for the gray and black tank valves. * The black tank had clearly not been properly flushed or cleaned before delivery. When I serviced it myself, the odor was overwhelming. The biggest issue has been the master bedroom slide-out. Within a short time of ownership, it began having problems extending and retracting. I called Rangitsch Bros. multiple times (around four or five calls) and even submitted two requests through their website. I was initially told they could fix it if I brought it in, but no one ever followed up with me after that conversation. The problem became serious right before my planned July 4th camping trip. The slide became stuck in the extended position, making it impossible to tow the trailer. I ended up canceling my plans with the RV and used a rooftop tent on another truck instead. After about 45 minutes of trying later that weekend, the slide finally retracted, but the issue never went away. On July 23, I finally took the trailer on its first trip--only about 35 miles. Almost immediately, more problems appeared: * The driver's-side trailer turn signal didn't work, even though my truck's signals functioned correctly. * The trailer hazard lights also failed. * During that short drive, one of the rear toy hauler windows developed a large spider crack from what appeared to be normal road vibration. * Later that same day, the bedroom slide once again failed, moving only about five inches in and five inches out before stopping. I called Rangitsch Bros. again looking for help. I explained that I had already been trying to resolve these issues for months and that no one had followed up with me. Since they couldn't get me in for another week, I asked a simple question: if I dropped the trailer off nearby, could they repair it and deliver it back once it was fixed? The answer was no. I was told they don't offer a mobile repair or delivery service. What made that especially frustrating is that when I originally purchased the RV, I had asked if they could hold it for about two months while I finished building a concrete RV pad. Instead, I was contacted much sooner and told they needed me to take delivery. After spending over $80,000, paying full asking price, and trying repeatedly to work with the dealership, I expected much better customer support. What disappointed me wasn't just the list of problems...it was the lack of communication and follow-through after the sale. Talked to a man on the phone that only responded with "mmmm, mhmm. .. uhhh". At this point, I have lost confidence in Rangitsch Bros. I won't be returning for future business, and I can't recommend them based on my experience. I've consistently received better customer service from smaller local businesses that genuinely value their customers instead of treating them like just another completed sale.

Positives: Rangitsch appears to have a good inventory of RVs…read moreand parts on hand. Negatives: Poor customer service. Came in on a Saturday, observed 10-12 employees on site. Not one of them would engage with a customer. It was a very odd experience. Eye contact was instantly avoided. Honestly not sure how they are in buisness if they actively avoid selling to people.
