I'm not going to go into great detail but I won't be returning to this location and these gentlemen should not be getting paid for hanging out and sitting in their cars. Not one car in any of the bays. Nobody was waiting and they were too lazy to actually do all of the inspection and finished out by not vacuuming or cleaning the windshield. When I went into pay they didn't even want to review the inspection results or everything that they did. They just wanted the the payment and before I could even finish paying all three of them were back out the side door sitting in their car. Just a bummer, it used to be so different there! It took less than 10 minutes to complete the inspection and the oil change. I'm not sure if I even got a new oil filter so I'm taking my vehicle elsewhere tomorrow to have it re-looked at to make sure everything's intact and full.

Otherwise I wld be totally fucked. He replaced our valve stem n was able to put air in it , unfortunately there were bubbles so now we gotta wait till mrning to leave. Erik…read moreand Jake responded promptly to my request to charge the A/C, replace the battery and solve the check engine light issue in my 2008 Mustang. The work was completed quickly after I approved the costs via a phone call from Erik. I picked up my car and drove to the grocery store whereupon the check engine light came back on when I left, so I immediately returned to Tire Rama. Right away Jake had the car back in the shop and the mechanic looked for the code to no avail. Erik had gone for the day, and I agreed to schedule a return appointment. I was prepared for having to spend more money, but within just a few hours Erik called to say they had replaced the aftermarket O2 sensor from Napa with the more expensive sensor from Ford and after test driving, was confident the problem was resolved and there would be no charge. I am very pleased to have my Mustang running smoothly again and grateful for the excellent service from the crew at Tire Rama. I'll be returning to Erik at Tire Rama on Grand for all my automotive needs.

This review is an update to my last review on 11/20/21. On my wife had her oil changed in september…read moreof last year. In October of last year I noticed oil dripping on my driveway underneath where the oil filter is located. I jacked up vehicle , inspected oil filter area and oil filter was on tight and I could find no obvious signs of oil leaking. However there was alot of oil that coated my skid plate both front and back. I changed the oil on 1/16/22. I use an extractor to remove my oil . After removing oil I notice the extractor showed between 6 and 8 quarts and the correct oil capacity is 5 3/8 quarts with the oil filter . This was overfilled and damages the engine ! I also noticed how black the oil was. I change my own oil and used Master lube back in september because I was busy at the time. The only reason the oil was this dirty and overfilled is masterlube did not completely remove the old oil and then topped it off with adding 2 quarts of new oil. The overfilling of oil probably had something to do with oil spillage on the driveway. After my oil change of 1/16/22 there has been no signs oil dripping on my driveway underneath where the oil filter is located.NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE THIS STORE ON MAIN STREET IN THE HEIGHTS. BUYER BEWARE AND CHECK YOUR OIL DIPSTICK FOR QUANTITY AND COLOR OF OIL AFTER USING MASTERLUBE IN THE HEIGHTS OR AFTER ANY OIL CHANGE THAT SOME OTHER BUSINESS PERFORMS. Nonetheless, I pulled up to the garage, and Josh met me outside with an understanding smile and a handshake. Upon noticing that I had an army of babies with me, he immediately helped get us into the spacious waiting room! He showed the girls the huge play area, with crayons, toys, books....you name it, and my favorite....a beautiful family heirloom -- A mini wooden rocking chair!!!! Josh informed me that it has been in the family for over 60 years!!!! Being a parent, and having your children in a situation where they have to wait in really any public setting brings it's own level of stress! That all melted away the moment we step foot in there. Now, getting down to the business side of things. Unfortunately, it was my starter that had completely gone bad. Josh reassured me that they could get it fixed, and had the part there in 5 minutes. He was completely up front and honest with the pricing of the part (pricey little bugger....which I already knew). He gave every discount he could find, including the mine discount! He kept me up to date on the timing of when my vehicle would be on the road again. Every rack in that place was full, and all of the mechanics were working hard to free a rack up for my vehicle. Josh explained that they were doing the best they could, to which I replied that we had every amenity that we needed and would be just fine.... That in fact I'm sure my kids wouldn't want to leave and it would be a struggle to get them to out of there, which it was! It wasn't 15 minutes later that Josh came over with a video showing me my new starter in its full glory....It was music to my ears after having to jump start my vehicle in the cold for the last 2 weeks; hoping the whole component didn't fail all together! And as soon as the video finished, he pointed over my shoulder out the window behind me. I turn around, and there's my "Silver Smokey" waiting right out front for us!!!! I was speechless! Josh explained that a mechanic named Gibson had seen me with my girls and didn't wait for a rack! He climbed under my vehicle; laying on the snow and ice to install the new starter! Gibson brought my keys in, just covered in snow and ice! He didn't have to do that, but he had told Josh he didn't want me waiting with all of my kids! That is what really tugged at my heart strings! When you look out for my kids, you have my heart, as well as a lifelong loyal customer!!!! I mean, Josh had already set the bar for how he treats his customers, and you just can't beat it!!!! Vehicles may just be a hunk of metal to some, but my hunk of metal carries my most precious cargo, and when I feel I can trust a family owned and operated business to keep us running safely on the road, you got more than just my business....You have my respect and my absolute trust!!!!
