Looked up to see if they were still in business. They show they have been in business since 1994. In 1998, I used them to book a long European trip for work since the Chamber of Commerce used them. At the Atlanta airport, something was off. I went through the entire itinerary and found so many issues. I ended up booking all of my hotels, trains, and flights myself. We cancelled with them by fax (as was their rule back then). THEY NEVER CANCELLED on their end and still charged our AMEX. Just found out that is still an issue. Sure, they have been open since 1994, but after reading the reviews on here, they are still incompetent. read more

Traci (tjallen@yahoo.com) did an awesome job of getting me an excellent price for 6 days in Costa Rica at an all inclusive Riu resort with airfare! The total price was less than $1600! I contacted her and told her what I wanted and she emailed me back with 2 different options. I picked one and several months later off I went. One of the great things about booking with a travel agent is the option of making payments for the trip over several months. I had a great time and when there was a slight hiccup she fixed it for me! We have used Big Sky Travel Source for 12 years for probably 15 or more major trips- including multiple cruises. Every experience has been excellent! All the staff goes out of their way to deliver customer service. They get to know you personally and what you like and want in your travel experiences. I have recommended them to friends and business acquaintances. Those who have used them have been very pleased. They are like your neighborhood travel agency - regardless of where you live. When we moved from Oklahoma City to Dallas, we have kept them as our travel agency. You won't be disappointed! I just read an earlier review that is negative and seems unlikely true. There has NEVER been a time I have had trouble getting a call or email returned. Those comments are simply not reflective of my 12 years of customer support and service. read more

My husband and I are so glad a friend recommended us to Big Sky Travel. It was so much easier to go through them then to try to figure out our plans myself online. They are so knowledgeable, honest, and they were able to work with our budget to create our perfect trip. All of the ladies in the office are super friendly but we worked directly with Judy. She put together an amazing anniversary trip for us to Rome, Florence, and Venice in May 2018. We didn't really know what we wanted to see or do so Judy asked us about our likes and interests. She took that information and she came up with the trip of lifetime. We had outstanding guided tours in every city, skip-the-line entrance tickets to the major attractions (must have!), friendly private chauffeur drivers waiting for us at every train station and airport, and to our surprise everything worked out as planned. We were so nervous that something would go wrong as first time travelers to Europe but everything went smooth! Next year we plan on travelling to Spain and Morocco and will most definitely be calling Judy when we are ready. The organization I work for exclusively uses Big Sky Travel Source to book flights for conferences and other corporate events and I've only experienced one agent there with a bit of an attitude (I don't think she's there anymore). Everyone else that I work with has been amazing and understands the issues that I have working in a corporate environment where things can go awry at the last minute. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE! The customer service is very lacking. A group of us booked a trip to Cancun with this company. We got everything set up fairly easy and it went downhill from there. Making payments is a big headache! JUST TAKE MY MONEY ALREADY! They do not return phone calls or emails. All of us (about a group of 20) have experienced the same lack of customer service. When you finally get someone on the phone, they put you on hold for a very long period of time. Then when you get them on the phone again, they give you excuses on how busy they are...really? Just skip this place. Save yourself the headache. Jennifer Waldron is our agent, but others I've come across at this office have the same lack of customer service. A trip I had planned for November fell through while my husband and I were at the airport, due to the travel agent not informing me we needed passport books even though I had sent her screenshots of each. We only have passport cards, which now I know is stupid as the travel agent stated as much after the fact. However, we never planned to travel to Mexico until our cruise fell through due to COVID. It took me hours to reach my travel agent. Instead of getting a refund on our flights, my husband and I have credits which will never get used since we don't fly very often. Also, I have yet to received a refund from the resort part of the trip as well. So there is $2,600+ down the toilet. Now my travel agent is no longer with the company. I called the agency and no one answered the phone. Worst customer service ever, I'm flabbergasted with the whole situation. I should not be out $2,600 for a situation that should have never happened. read more

THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! The travel agent was so helpful at first and promised us all these things about how we could save money on our transfers (between airport & hotel) if we booked outside the reservation. DID NOT HAPPEN!! Promised me how I could us my Resort Points for my Wedding.... DID NOT HAPPEN!! You can't use your points on the Complementary weddings. We convinced all our family and friends to book through this travel agent and how wonderful they are....NOT!! We made reservations in Sept 2014 for a wedding in May 2015. Everyone called and made reservations....they never once received a confirmation email (I have over 5 families with no response back from agent)...and never heard back from the agent until the day before the trip money was due. Yes we made some changes on our reservation, but good customer service would still have been nice and helpful. I'm sorry we were such an inconvenience for you and your business. Every time we called they had an excuse about our reservation and how busy they are or how their email is done. WORST SERVICE EVER!!! The owner is just as useless!! read more

We had a very different style of traveling and they accommodated every request we had! Jennifer was our travel agent but every agent in that office was AMAZING and SUPER helpful. We worked with Rosie to book our honeymoon. I had never used a travel agent before and wasn't sure if it would really be worth it using a travel agent versus just doing it ourselves. When we talked with Rosie, she asked if we had any preferences and we kind of wanted to try the Domincan Republic based of things we have heard from others. She recommended a few different resorts there based of our preferences. We ended up staying at one of the ones she suggested, Bavarostar Bavaro in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. And, WOW!!!!!! It was stunningly beautiful there. There can't possibly be anyplace in the world that is that nice for that price. Rosie was right on the money with that pic. While there, we toured another resort that she had suggested and it was amazing too. There is no way we would have found a better place for the money. It was heavenly. I will never book a trip like this on my own. Big Sky and Rosie were the best. So very, very happy. What an amazing honeymoon memory my wife and I will always have.
