The boat was comfortable and clean and stocked with ice in a large cooler for our drinks. We saw dolphins and a group of 5 manatees. We swam and went shelling on an island accessible only by boat. We stopped on Cabbage Key for lunch at Jimmy Buffet's restaurant. Our family consisted of 2 50 year old and our 21 and 23 year old children and their significant others. Everyone had a great time. Our four-hour trip was the perfect mix of relaxation, wildlife, and adventure. Captain Jessica and her crew went above and beyond, providing iced drinks, snacks, and buckets for collecting shells. They took us to Old Hickory Island, where we found some amazing shells, a Pygmy octopus, conch, and a sand dollar. Throughout the trip, Captain Jessica shared her knowledge about the local ecosystem, answering all of our questions about the dolphins, manatees, mangroves, and the area. One of the highlights was when she spotted a pod of dolphins. She carefully brought the boat alongside them, and we got to watch them swim and jump in our boat's wake--it was unforgettable! Communication was outstanding from start to finish. We had to reschedule twice due to weather. Captain Jessica made the process incredibly easy and stress-free. She is friendly, welcoming, and shared lots of great local recommendations for places to visit and things to do. Breezy day, but Jimmy found good water and got us in the trout right away. Fished that for a while then moved to the Snook around the mangroves and had a lot of fun with the live bait. Didn't hook a shark, but we finished the day with some attempts at them in the channel. Great host and guide and kept everyone fishing and happy the whole time.

We found a pod of dolphins pretty quickly and had them following us for quite awhile. The manatee cove was empty, except for some jumping fish, so he took us out to a sandbar to look for sand dollars. While at the sandbar he spotted a manatee so we boarded the boat to get a closer look. All in all a great day on the water! I would highly recommend Captain Robin.

He also told us about dolphin alley and how to potentially get them to play in our wake, which resulted in 10+ minutes of dolphins playing in the wake of our boat. One of the coolest things I've ever experienced! The boat looked like it was brand new and it ran great. Definitely a recommended option during a stay in Captiva.
