The place has many different types of food/services/meals to go/meal delivery etc and they redid the place so it's much better eye appeal aspect. You if say like certain stuff for whatever you choose regardless of Spanish/Asian/American etc no problem because they sell it & they're setup even with checkout lines/self checkout (just have bags for here) & all payments for this yes they got it & need I say more? For someone who lives in the expensive city of New York this super market is heaven compared to the prices there. Big Y has so many deals and sales are incredible. I immediately went to customer service to get a members card. The sales that they had at this supermarket included buy one get one free, 50% off, and they even had a clearance section. When my fiancé came to visit me for a few days and we went food shopping she made a joke and said should we stock up to bring back to New York. Ok so it wasn't just me...lol The store is beautifully laid out, easy to find what you need and more from the produce to dairy to the meat section. And the customer service is pretty good. I wish they had this store in New York. read more

Donna acted very cold towards me and I believe it was racially driven. Have yet to get a response back from Big Y to why she was so cold and ignored me when I was asking her questions during checkout. I already submitted a customer complaint online and have yet to get a proper response regarding the matter. read more

The response as is typical of corporate is to ignore the most important point. The issue is not saving the environment the issue is pocketing the money but to be fair the store has changed this policy and the customers are no longer being charged. read more

Nothing special about this BigY, I've been visiting for years and will continue to do my grocery shopping there. I wish they would sell wine though lol it would make it so much more convenient for a lot shoppers. Customer service is ok, they try their best to move along quickly but every now and again you'll get that annoying teenage who seems like he/she doesn't want to work that day. read more

Wanted to do some take out and return to my hotel. Wing bar was nice and staff very friendly. The store itself was clean and well stocked. The neighborhood is not upscale at all but the Big Y was a step up itself. The only drawback is the lack of wine or beer sales. Maybe a state or county thing, not sure. Considering Massachusetts allows the sale of recreational marijuana you have to wonder why one cannot purchase beer or wine. Not the stores fault as far as i know. read more

I've been here a few times, sometimes I get the grumpy teenager. Sometimes I get the super friendly adult. Of course I like when I get a super friendly person! It really makes the end of my shopping trip complete. The store has fresh ham and cheese already sliced across from the deli. Now I know why I love deli ham and white american cheese. I thought it was just my parents but now I realize its this area. Also, the bread in the deli was really fresh. I don't think I like all these levels of discounts. Its makes my shopping really confusing. I don't want to spend money on buying a specific level. Plus again its confusing. I think they made things to complicated. Or maybe I just have been away to long. I will update in a few months to see if things have changed. The location is a good location for me. Except the parking lot is full of crazy drivers. Make sure you look both ways. Check every angle before driving your car. Then check again. You may be taking your life into your own hands in this parking lot. read more

Very fast WiFi (unlike the chump McDonald's across the parking lot), which you can access either inside or outside the supermarket. Huge supermarket with some vegan choices in the deli if you look carefully. Very reasonable prices. Sat on the lawn to the side of the supermarket and got some work done on my laptop while waiting for my car to get repaired in this spectacularly inhospitable stretch of strip mall wasteland. read more

Excellent food from the Pizza Shop. The pizza is awesome. As close to NY pizza as possible. The aroma of pizza draws you in.

i've gone to the butcher with questions and have had the butcher cut just the right size meat for me and they are always helpful...love the pizza....bakery has made many holiday cakes for me ...the only problem i've had is the deli since tammy left it's hit or miss to get your meat sliced properly and they always mess up thin sliced cheese...why slap a label hard on thin sliced cheese...it's now impossible to seperate...overall a good store been happy with it i just go elsewhere for coldcuts the last few years read more
