Lovely people. Food was mediocre. Ambiance could definitely use some work. Very accommodating.

The owners (husband & wife) are very personable. They are new owners and do it all themselves…read more It's clean and small with 3 tables and 2 booths. The fries are fresh and very good. The food is hot and you are called to the window to get your order. The burrito was kind of pricey, decent size and just ok. It's served with a few chips. The chili cheese dogs had liquid white cheese, homemade chili with beans. The hot dog was hot inside (normally I've been getting cold inside at other places) however the chili just didn't thrill me. Okkkkkkkk I'm a chili dog snob so it was just my personal preference. Both meals came with a 20 oz pop. The menu is VERY small and limited but if the food is good you don't need a lot of items. Plus the husband & wife are doing everything alone. I really really hope they succeed in this business. I give them so much credit for trying and chasing their dream. We probably will not go back because we weren't thrilled. There have been a lot of positive comments on our local social pages. I've heard their shakes are amazing - give the place a try

My wife had ordered the food through the QR code provided on the sign, after placing the order it listed they would bring our food to the car; during the order it even asked for our location? Instead we received zero confirmation that the order was ready, as it sat outside waiting to be picked up. We were expected to rummage through a pile of orders/bags in order to find our name on the ticket; not too practical. Definitely wouldn't waste money here, especially when they market themselves to be something they aren't.

It's gunna be delicious, it's ready super quick, and you get to enjoy a moment of their ambiance when you go in to pick up your food. I called in an order the other day when I was staying on a property near by, the woman said about 15 minutes, but I swear it was ready even quicker than that. Great customer service when I called and when I picked up.

There was always a wait outside and we would entertain ourselves playing pinball and other video games inside. Redamax is known for "The Hamburger that made New Buffalo, Michigan Famous!" Their cheese burgers are cooked medium well and served on a sesame seed bun with velveeta cheese. So simple, yet so good! If you want "everything" it's ketchup, mustard, dill pickles, and raw onion. It's still a cash only restaurant and not open in the winter months. This past summer we made our annual Redamax stop with our kids. They loved the velveeta cheese burgers and Barq's red cream soda. We also liked their clam strips. Redamax has grown in seating and size, but it doesn't change. It's the "simple" that makes it so special. You can't pass by New Buffalo without a stop at Redamax!
