I only got through 2/3 of the store and I decided it was time for me to go as I had many items in my cart. I did sneak a peak at the other side o did not visit and I did see some outdoorsy clothes, like Mossy Oak. Although I know I picked up some really cool clothes, books, snacks and such I felt that I really racked up a big bill, to my surprise when the cashier told me what the total was it was way less than expected. I returned to the Maple Heights store October 26th albeit difficult to find. I was initially greeted by a baseball cap, non mask wearing employee. He showed little interest in my needs and request. After making a short tour of the items on the floor, the baseball cap, wearing employee came over and answered a few questions. Once i picked several pieces of furniture was interested in purchasing I asked for a pricing total upon which time I attempted to negotiate what I felt was a fair price. The baseball cap, wearing employee appeared to angerly reject my offer. I pointed out a obvious problem with one item and the employee again expressed anger as he jerked open a dresser drawer. I had more questions and Mr Baseball, Cap walked away. I left the store and called back later asking for a manager. I was told the manager would be in the office on Tuesday, October 27th after 10:00 Am. The person who answered the phone says his name was Tommy and the manager's name Tom. I was unable to reach Tom on Tuesday the 27th. The ole Ignore, let the answering service, leave a message, smoke screen and mirrors deal. No worries, after leaving The Maple Heights store I stopped by nearby Value City Furniture, purchased furniture items W/delivery. Done Deal. No more Northeast Factory Direct in Maple Heights. They have something for every repair, whether its a cable for a door, misc. bolts and nuts to fiberglass repair. If you are having trouble finding something they are always willing to help. Great place. One of the last of its kind. Its alot better than the box stores and name brand hardware stores in my opinion. A little bit more pricey than the name brand stores, but I rather pay a little extra for good service and good experience.

I always assumed it was more of a bird and nature specialty store. Don't get me wrong, they have a plethora of birding and gardening supplies if that's a passion for you, but, ahh, it is so much more than that! Wildlife Garden makes me want to buy a house with a huge yard, just so I can start a garden and decorate it. Some things I loved: + Beautiful little gifts. Of all types. I purchased the most adorable little pieces of art that had a small bird holding a sign that reads, "A little bird told me today will be beautiful." + Pet stuff that isn't tacky, especially the ceramic statues as well as the pet memorial items (which are very hard to find). + Unique garden decor. I adored the awesome solar-powered glass-blown(?) flowers that collect light during the day and light up at night. + Fun cards and they do beautiful, free gift-wrapping. You can do everything all at one time! + Gorgeous windchimes and another artisan decor. Just stop by with nothing in mind, and explore! If you're even remotely into buying people gifts (like me, I love buying my friends and family little presents for no reason), have a garden, or a patio, stop in and look around.
