I got a sausage egg bagel and it was great and I got me a chocolate flavored mint coffee and it was really good. Also service with salad. I have no complaints about this place. We really enjoyed it and I will go back. read more

Service was quick and very friendly. Place was clean. Coffee tastes good. Price seemed 15-20% cheaper than Starbucks. I'd go again.

Every time we visit this location the employees are friendly and helpful. It seems like they are the only location that has them ask if you are part of the rewards program and if you would like to be, etc. They are always patient even when we ask dumb questions lol Drinks are ALWAYS perfect. Biggby quickly became our favorite coffee shop specifically the Roseland location. Thanks for all you guys do! read more

I grabbed coffee and bagels here Saturday morning for an early morning training session. I placed my order over the phone, and gave them about a 25 minute leeway and it was ready when I arrived. Had several compliments from my training session on how good the coffee was. I thought the bagels were just OK, they just did not seem fresh to me. I have used this chain in the past for coffee and bagels and they have always been good.I would use them again if needed. read more

Place is great on the weekdays when some form of management is there but don't go on the weekends. It's all high school girls and it's always a shit show. And I have nothing against high schoolers and I really don't love ppl who take to Yelp to vent their feelings but I'm so sick of going on weekends and them just...not having something at that exact moment and getting my order wrong even after they fix it. I've tried, and I've tried to like Biggby. As a Starbucks alternative I'd much prefer to get a cup of coffee from Biggby...but the service is always slow, the drinks too sweet, the drinks underfilled with too much whip cream and flavoring, and the food was just gross. I tried the breakfast sandwich on a bagel and it was half cold, half lukewarm, made on a dry/stale everything bagel. We've done the drive through and gone inside, the service is always so, and the staff always seems flustered/short staffed. I want this place to be better, I want to go here as opposed to Starbucks. I wished this was a coffeehouse that took its coffee more seriously than it does, but if I measure it against what it is (entry-level coffee, an alternative to Starbucks), not what I wanted it to be, I think it's a solid four stars, mostly for the friendliness of the staff and convenience of access and drive-through. My jet-lagged brain needed caffeine badly, and this place was just up the road from where I was staying. I went in on a weekday afternoon, and looked at the menu board. I always judge a coffee place by a basic 12-oz latte. But... I couldn't find that anywhere on the menu board. Everything was flavored or frappeed or fussy - where's a basic espresso drink? Well, I wound up ordering one of their signature flavored hot lattes (was given the option of hot, iced, or blended). There was a young trainee working under the direction of another employee, but they seemed to execute my drink well enough for an automated machine. They were also pretty generous with the whipped cream on the drive-through drinks I watched them make. While I was waiting, however, I noticed half a dozen carafes of brewed coffee, including some interesting flavors like Michigan Cherry and Maple Pecan. If I'd realized those options existed (they're at the end of the bar, visible while you wait for your drink, but not visible from the register where you order), I might have tried one. Also, as I was waiting, I recognized a tap for nitro cold brew on the back counter! Aw man, where was THAT option when I was ordering?! I mentioned to the employee that if I'd seen that earlier, I totally would have gotten that. She asked if I wanted a sample (yes please!) and gave me a taste - and it was delicious. Rats. Friendly staff, if young. I would have liked to have been more chatty with them, as they seemed pretty enthusiastic, but the manager came over and was giving the staff directions while I was waiting, so I couldn't interact with them. No option for ceramic "for here" - everything's in paper or plastic. There is seating, but it's all hard plastic chairs and tables - no comfy seating that encourages you to stay a while. Therefore, even though I went inside, I took my coffee back out to my car and drove off. There's a loyalty card program that gets you a free drink after you buy 12. There is parking on the side and behind the shop. If you want a handcrafted artisan latte from a professional barista, you'll want to look elsewhere. If you want a cup of brewed coffee or even a nitro cold brew, look for those before you get to the counter. If you like your coffee syruped or sugared or blended and you need it to go, you'll find this place easy to love. read more

A great little cafe to drive thru on our way up to MI. We asked for our flavored iced lattes to be lightly sweetened and thought it was the prefect amount (we usually find them too sweet from most coffee shops). Service was quick and friendly and the jalapeño cheddar turkey bagel sandwich was delicious. Thanks guys! read more

Stopped at Biggby for a Chi-charger in Elkhart on County Road 6 this past Monday. Drink is usually about $7.45. Left a $1 cash tip to the gentleman working the window. Checked my debit card the other day looks like he he took $5 tip from my card. My total charger to my card was $13.45. Seriously ! Calling the store to complain and never going back. Today between 10-10:30 I ordered a 16oz Carmel marvel with almond milk. The cashier asked if I wanted whip cream I said yes. I received my drink drove off took a sip the drink was horrible no whip cream and the drink just tasted bad. I called the store no answer , so I circled around went back to the drive through to let them know it was something wrong with the drink. The cashier who said she was the manager (I believe her name was Jill not sure) was very aggressive and argumentative. I asked for a refund she said she could not give me one but was willing to remake the drink if I went back through the drive though ; because of time I declined. The barista lady who made the drink apologized and offered to remake it but at that point I did not want another drink. I then asked for a coupon for a free drink and she gave me one. However the cashier/manager was very rude and defensive no customer service skills whatsoever. Closed the window in my face and for that I will not return to that location. I go that location a lot and this was the first time I've experienced such horrible service!!! read more

I love Biggby's. We don't have one in Illinois, so whenever I'm somewhere with one i always make sure I stop at one. This was the first time since visiting a Biggby that I've ever had a negative encounter. I'm going to start with how rude the barista was that was taking my order, she either hates her job or she hates peoples in general-either way this isn't the right field for her! Next I tried ordering a cold brew, she said they were out! I tried to order a iced coffee how I usually get my cold brew but she would let me speak long enough to tell her she kept cutting me off saying they don't have cold brew. Then I asked if they had lemon muffins? She said yes how many would you like. We said 2 she said she only has one (why ask?!) I started to ask for a bagel and she now huffing because I asking to many questions. I left because that's crazy your made I'm taking forever when you don't have anything in stock! Do better because for such a small company you guys should have better customer service. read more

We were passing through on a cross country trip with three dogs in a smaller car, and our barista at BIGGBY made our day. She was kind and generous, offered us cups of whipped cream and dog biscuits for our pups, and generally gave us a great impression of the area. We stop at Bigby maybe once or twice a month. It always takes FOREVER to get a simple coffee. It is absolutely unbelievable. The drive through takes 20 mins to get through, and it isn't much better if you go inside. Starbucks and DD are right up the street and will be a better alternative if you are in a hurry. read more

For the past few months I've been driving past this place but never felt a need to stop. Today I had a craving for some iced coffee and finally meandered into Biggby. As for atmosphere, it's not hip or necessarily homey and I probably wouldn't even sit and do work here even though they have free wifi--brightly painted walls, streamers, balloons, it has the feel of a child's birthday party or a late 90s food court. But I don't necessarily care about the cool factor if the product/service is top notch. I ordered nitro cold brew (not on the menu) and it's delicious. I'm an ex barista and have strongly held opinions on coffee in general and I was happy with the huge cup (no ice, which is fine because it didn't need it) of smoothness I got in seconds. I also ordered a bagel and cream cheese and it was perfectly toasted and chewy--needless to say I was pleasantly surprised. Service was very kind, not fake, not stressed, but genuine and offering samples. Judging by the menu the focus here is on blended, sweetened coffee drinks with flavoring which isn't my thing but they looked promising and yummy if that's your jam. There's a drive through and bulk coffee you can buy by weight along with various other merch--tea, greeting cards, mugs, etc. Everything, including the espresso machine and the seating area was very clean. read more

We dropped by here on our way home. We ordered 2 24 oz americanos (pretty sure we got brewed coffee... We know espresso), we asked for cream and sugar on the side (we got none), we ordered a "bragle" with an extra egg (it came with only one egg, we paid two dollars extra)....
