Drinks taste good but they are pricey and the mochas are quite sweet. Service is meh usually. Drive thru line moves ok.

Clean, welcoming, and chic. I chose to check this place because we love trying coffee shops, and it was a gift shop too. Hospitality. Super friendly and accommodating. Some tables inside at front, more in back, and one table outdoor Offerings. Standard coffee shop and upscale gift shop with Michigan made and vendors. There were unique gifts for entertaining, kitchen, stationery, and whimsy things. From the barista counter, we got an iced mocha and drip coffee. The condiment station had mini moos, but the barista offfered to give me real cream from a local dairy, Moo-ville Creamery. Good cream with the delicious coffee, Jamaicain Me Crazy. We also got an apple danish and egg bite. Sadly, they forgot the whip for the mocha, and heat the food items. Thankfully they fixed the issues when I brought it to their attention. Of Note and Last Impressions. Beautiful loo: clean, stocked, pretty decor. Street parking and lot parking near by. Overall, would return. Would recommend.

Galley-like set up as you walk in. Breakfast diner vibes more than 'cafe and bakery'. Kitchen to your left as you walk down short corridor into cafe. Sloth-like chill attitude encouraged; the hashtag is #letshangtogether. Had fun looking at all the little sloth decor throughout. Lots of light and glass. VERY limited seating; seats about 15 (?) inside; mostly 2 tops and a 6 top. When we walked in, we were greeted warmly, permitted to sit where ever we would like, then handed menus. Turkish music playing was just a bit too loud. Hospitality. Friendly and helpful. Owner-chef seemed very happy to be there, singing and engaging with his regulars. Offerings. Basic breakfast and lunch items with Turkish and Mediterranean classics. No flavored lattes but other basic espresso drinks offered. Chai was excellent. Had the Turkish coffee because it was a Turkish joint; was REALLY good; strong. We had the Simit Platter; sesame-like NY bagel, feta chunks, and olives. All very good. See pics. Apparently they offer cooking classes, catering, and meal prep pick-up -- for ever-changing healthier, fresh, easy-prep take-out options. Of Note and Last Impressions. Lot parking. Overall, fun.

It was tasty and even better with the bread they provided. It could've been packaged in a better way because the oil dripped out everywhere by the time we got it home. Maybe a plastic container with a tight fitting lid. The mezze platter was also quite nice, especially the carrot appetizer. The bulgur patties were also flavorful. The artichoke was slightly disappointing because it didn't have any other flavor than salt and vinegar, similar to canned/bottled artichokes. The salad was fresh and the dressing was light. Overall, this was a light and tasty lunch.

The space is large with plenty of seating, and they have a wonderful food menu with bagel sandwiches and delicious potatoes. The employee taking our order was patient and polite. I got the Parkside sandwich (bacon, egg, pesto, cheese), and Nate got a Thanksgiving sandwich special. I also got an oat milk latte. They have a pastry case full of pastries and doughnuts so I'd love to try those next time. It was nice to sit and enjoy our breakfast and I loved the latte - it was one of the best I've had recently, very creamy and smooth. The parkside bagel was quite greasy, but the flavors were so savory and yummy. I loved the pesto and it had a ton of crispy bacon. I saved half for later and it was still good heated up the next day. We got a side of the curry potatoes with some bang bang sauce to dip - these were so good! Crispy on the outside and soft inside, with lots of great curry flavor. They were pretty salty but I really loved them. This is an inclusive and welcoming space and I hope they continue to do well!
