I contacted him after getting into my first accident - which was not my fault - about inspecting my car and evaluating the diminished value. From our first call he was professional, knowledgeable, and patient, making sure I was well informed of the process and potential outcomes. In fact, he encouraged me to hold off on scheduling an inspection and appraisal until after I received my initial offer from the insurance company (GEICO) in the event they met me with a fair price. Unfortunately, they came in lower than anticipated, so Mike and I quickly arranged for an inspection and appraisal. The inspection was quick and easy, and the report we received (over 40 pages in length) was incredibly thorough and well-articulated. I submitted the report to GEICO requesting the full amount Mike appraised the diminished value for. Unfortunately for me, there was a bit of back-and-forth with GEICO not wanting to pay the full amount requested, and I ultimately prepared to sue in small claims court. However, when push really came to shove, Mike's report won out and GEICO agreed to settle for the entire diminished value requested.
