During the fitting, JT took parts of my bike apart and appeared unsure about how to put everything back together, to the point that he was watching YouTube videos for 40 minutes for guidance. After the "fitting", he told me the bike was ready and safe to ride. The next morning, I took the bike to Cabrillo. While going downhill, I realized that parts of the bike were loose and that it was unsafe to ride. This could have resulted in a very serious accident. I immediately called the shop. JT was initially extremely rude and showed very little concern about the fact that I had been sent out on a bike that was not properly secured. His attitude changed only after I told him I was considering legal action. At that point, he became much more cooperative and offered to fix the problems. A professional bike fitting should never leave a bike in a condition that puts the rider's safety at risk. What concerns me most is that I was specifically told the bike was ready to ride when it clearly was not. Based on my experience, I would not trust this shop with my bike again.
