I came in with my two sisters while on a day tour to The Grand Canyon for my birthday. We came in to browse but left with the cutest matching denim jackets (including one for our mom) and then some!! The women were so welcoming, fun and non-pushy with the sales, which made shopping here so fun! The boutique had so many unique pieces from playful accessories to cute dresses to printed outerwear to mixed media pants. It's truly it's a fashionistas playground! Highly recommend! read more

The saleswomen clearly get paid on commission and are your best friends...ALL the many clothes they suggest "look amazing on you." But don't expect a friend the next day if you try to return a dress that ripped within the first few minutes of wearing. Marsha, the elderly store manager at both Dahling It's You and Isn't She Lovely Down the street, spent a lot of energy trying to get my friend and I to buy expensive jackets on Thursday, even taking photos of us. (BTW, my friend's nature is so polite that I've seen her refuse to complain when there was a long hair in her food at a restaurant.) When we returned Friday with the dress (that had ripped when she sat down in the car), Marsha was immediately so hostile --as soon as she saw us walking in with a bag--I was stunned. "You don't possibly expect me to take back a dress you've worn--I'm KNOW you don't--when you know you can mend this yourself!" When I suggested the store IS responsible for selling a subpar item, she said this had NEVER happened in all the years they've been selling those dresses. She condescendingly suggested my friend might be lying...maybe it got caught in the door, etc. She pushed the item back across the counter and refused to offer even a discount for my friend's trouble. "There's nothing we can do for you." She had us over a barrel. We'd walked in with smiles, hardly said anything during Marsha's attack and treated her with respect, and walked out in shock. Everyone has bad customer service stories but this woman's attitude was over the top disrespectful, insulting and rude. Time for her to retire! read more

Selection was great. Yes, it's retail value. I expected that being in downtown. My disappointment is when I gave Megan my 2 items I decided on from the dressing room. She changed an item out for a more expensive one. A $39 tank for a $59 tank. I realized that when I got home and took everything out that was wrapped in tissue. Very shady, double check your items at the register before you hand her your payment, she doesn't tell you the total at all. I trusted her and I shouldn't have. read more

We are shopping with my aunt and she is notoriously challenging to shop for--she is very much undecided on many items and Megan & Melissa were amazingly patient and supportive of her trying on outfits and accessories--picking out what outfits she would like, particular sizing, colors, styles and the necklaces that would compliment said chosen outfits. I am the friend referred to in JF.'s post. She is very kind refer to me as "so polite." It may very well be that I am TOO polite. I fully agree with all the J F. had to say about Marsha's approach to the situation. I literally had worn the $55 dress for dinner and when I sat in the car, the belt pulled out of the side seam. Marsha, despite her emphasis that she would "never want to offend a customer," DID offend me. Her suggestion that I hooked the belt on something that made it tear out was equivalent to a slap in the face. I was fully prepared to purchase 1 to 3 more items that I had tried on the day before but had made up my mind that I would only do so if there was a reasonable response to my concern about the quality of the $55 dress I had purchased the day before. I honestly didn't need a full refund. An apology and a discount would have sufficed. There were a total of 4 items between my friend and me that we were considering to buy. Dahling It's You and Isn't She Lovely lost out on 1 to 4 more sales that day because Marsha chose to insinuate that I was lying to her instead of showing reasonable respect to a customer over whom she had swooned the day before. I am completely disappointed with how I was ultimately treated. read more

What a great find ! If your in Sadona Arizona it's a must!! It was my 1st store I walked into great curbside view...I was drawn to the jewelry ..gorgeous selection much to choose from..Than I started looking at the hats WOW if your a hat person the quality of the hats are amazing. Janis was amazing she picked up on my style right away. I walked out a very happy costumer with a sweet hat and a gorgeous shirt. They also have a clothing shop for men and women I am going to check them out tomorrow. It's right around the corner called Bennalis. Dahling, dahling, would you like to try this on? Or how about this? This top goes really nice with this. The dressing rooms are even cooler than the rest of the store... And so went our visit to "Dahling It's You", an apparently upscale women's apparel shop in downtown Sedona. There's actually two of these stores in town--this review is for the downtown location. Pretty nice stuff, but we couldn't look at anything or even touch anything on the racks without 3 saleswomen decending on us to get my wife to try on two other pieces of clothing that go with it. The little dahlings were so pushy and annoying as they clustered around us that we left without buying anything. Maybe they won't do the same to you when you visit, but my call would be to skip this place when you visit Sedona. The uptown location MIGHT be different, but I seriously doubt it. read more

I wanted to take a moment to let you know how much I love coming back to your stores every chance I get. I live in Los Angeles and we try to visit Sedona at least once a year since 2009. I look forward to my annual trip to stock pile clothes for the year. I always get compliments asking where I got my outfits, purses, and jewelry. I was just in Monday, January 20th with Rita and Janis. I think I was there for over 2 hours! Every time I enter your store, I feel at home with family. They are genuinely interested in making me feel comfortable and styling me. Clothes I would never have thought to try on they bring in and I end up buying almost everything they bring in. The clothes, the accessories you choose for your stores are exquisite. They are different, unique and they make me feel comfortable in my own skin. They truly made me feel special and when I was nervous about the Miss Me jeans, Janis said, let's try them on so I can see what fits your body. I didn't worry about the size # because she picked out pieces that would accentuate my body. Thank you to the owners of Dahling because you make it a great environment for your Dahlings which makes it a great styling boutique for guests to come from all over the world. read more

Rita was so fun and welcoming to me and I really enjoyed chatting with her. She told me a great joke And I laughed so much. She was great with my little boy as well and wasn't annoyed with him like some and went way out of her way to accommodate me and I wish people were as friendly in Phoenix and Scottsdale as they are in Sedona !!! It was so refreshing all the kind and personable people I experienced there yesterday. They have some awesome clothes and purses too and even shoes ! This use to be my FAV boutique in all of Sedona. New owner that took over two years ago hiked prices and clothing isn't as cute, fresh or of same quality. You can find the same EXACT brand designer tops online for 40-50% less. What a mark up! My girlfriends and I noticed people walking in then leaving. Greed always hinders growth. Sales rep was bizarre and pushy in a weird way. Will never be back. Dissapointing! read more

Please go and ask for Rita. She is an invaluable help, listening first to my preferences and offering pieces to try. She's so personable and patient as I made choices. I'm so happy I found this boutique on my visit to Sedona. I bought a couple of shirts/dresses to take back to Florida. I could have gone crazy in here because everything I saw I liked. Being from Florida I don't usually buy long sleeved things but these were light weight and very unusual items. The staff was very friendly and a joy to meet. I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this store!! Not only are the clothes amazing, but every single woman that works there is friendly, courteous, and helpful. They aren't pushy like other galleries in Sedona, they truly want to find pieces that ACTUALLY flatter you! Whenever I'm in Sedona it is a MUST stop! I come home with unique designs and all my friends are raving! "Where did you get that!??"
