To begin with, I elected to switch my auto and home coverages to Esurance, a sister company to Allsate. Esurance is owned by Allstate Insurance Company, the oldest publically held personal lines insurer in the U.S. With 80-plus years of experience After telling Mr. Whitworth of the changes he proceeds to tell me that Esurance "lies about their rates, that they would jack up the rates over a period of time (the bait and switch) and that Esuance will soon be relinquished/sold off by Allstate because they are a small worthless company". Regardless of any of those comments, Mr. Whitsworth should have practiced better business sense and not mouthed off about any company for that matter and keep his opinions to himself. That was rule breaker #1 in my book! Because of his pontification and rhetoric about another company and undermining my decison, better reason NOT to use him ever again. He should be reprimanded for slandering a sister company, his own Company. All sounds like greed on his behalf.

Today I went online to pay my bill, and I had no policy. The agent here at Family Financial claims that The Hartford dropped my insurance due to a claim I had this year. According to the Hartford, my agent called them to cancel it sometime in February. It was a he-said she-said thing and they pulled the phone call and verified that she deliberately cancelled my policy. Beware of this place and their un-professionalism. Had they informed me of this I wouldn't be writing this negative review. I was sitting here with a Renewal Packet and everything. Now I am shopping commercial insurance again.
