We carefully heated everything and apply the different sauces. Did the baked potato on a semi-steamed pot, and worked the butter, sour cream and slowly placed the caviar. The lobster appetizer could have been a meal. We steamed the fritters and the sauce separately. Steamed the Apple Torte and the Anglaise sauce in the container, them mixed when ready to eat. I have never had Coconut Anglaise this good in my life. At my last French trip had a couple of different ones with two types of vanilla but never with coconut. This is an English Cream that different chefs play with it. But this chef definitely made a delicious one! Needless to say the Lobster Sauce was delicate and creamy and amazingly tasty with a snappy taste. This Chef should have awards for the sauces and the meal...... They are all incredible, still licking my finger over the shrimp fritters and sauce They are all incredible. We devoured the filet mignon which was extremely tender and juicy. Highly recommend! We had a 50 person wedding in a private venue. Bill Hansen handled the food, drinks and rentals. We said food and drinks were the most important thing and they made that a reality for us. We had 6 passed hors d'oeuvres, served dinner, open bar and coffee station. We were recently at a wedding at Villa Woodbine and it was catered by the Bill Hansen catering group. The Bill Hansen team was very well-organized and orchestrated an incredible and memorable dinner for 150 guests. The Bill Hansen team was prepared, had planned for the event, and was very appropriately staffed for an on-time service with a very high-quality product. The serving team was friendly, efficient, and very happy to accommodate any special requests. The quality of the filet mignon that was served was higher than any quality I've had in an actual restaurant. Understanding the challenges that make it very difficult to serve 150 guests all at one time with a somewhat limited kitchen at the Villa Woodbine, the Bill Hansen team pulled it off and had an A++ performance. Where do I even start! We recently got married at Villa Woodbine and Bill Hansen was our caterer. This whole process was absolutely amazing. From the day I met Ashley our coordinator throughout this whole process, she was just the sweetest. She was patient and answered all my questions, even if I had to ask multiple times lol. Leading up to the event she was always easy to get a hold of and always open and honest. We chose to do the Villa's summer deal that had been offered to us which made everything a lot easier on us since some of the vendors were included in this package (catering, florist, DJ, Tables, linens, outdoor AC tent). This made the planning process a lot more simple for me since I didn't have to go out and search for each of these. The day of the wedding everything went off without a hitch! As far as getting ready purposes, we didn't choose to get ready in the bridal suite at the Villa (we were a lot of girls) we wouldn't have fit comfortably with all the makeup and hair artists too. Anthony was our coordinator from the venue the day of the actual wedding and Ashley stuck around and helped out for a bit too. Anthony was amazing he made sure we had everything we needed and made sure to check in with us throughout the night to make sure we were doing fine. We actually got to eat the food at our wedding lol not just at the tasting and truly it was delicious! I am an extremely picky eater and always hate catered food, for months leading up to the event I had been saying how I just want going to eat at my wedding and I'd just Uber McDonald's lol. So when I got the chance to try it at the tasting I was SO pleasantly surprised! It was actually delicious from start to finish! The AC tent was an absolute lifesaver (and was actually really cold!) it was Miami summer hot out and everyone was extremely grateful for the tent. Although the dancing was outdoors, everyone was having too much fun to care about the heat at that point. In a nutshell: spectacular We are incredibly happy that we chose to work with Bill Hansen catering for our wedding. The entire team worked very hard, was willing to get in the weeds with us and importantly, was able to execute on a fully customized and complicated menu. I specially want to highlight the efforts from Sandra and Chef Dewey -- they worked tirelessly to ensure we got exactly what we had dreamed up. Given my wife and I are Chinese and Indian, we worked out a customized menu that touched on a fusion of flavors from both countries. To make things even more complicated, we also added on a late night bites menu of several American classic foods, given we both grew up here in the States. Bill Hansen was able to flawlessly create all of this; several guests were so impressed with the Indian portion that they thought the chef was an Indian-native! Obviously, pricing here is on the higher end, but even then Bill Hansen was willing to work with us to arrive at something very reasonable. This is our go-to place for holiday dining in this pandemic era. Great Thanksgiving meal -- fabulous turkey, over-the-top gravy. My spouse Kathy Martin makes a fabulous cranberry sauce, but Hansen's cranberry-kumquat was a close second. Also super desserts and dressing. After speaking with Ashley, she noted that she works at Bill Hansen Catering (very prestigious in the south Florida area). Throughout the entire process of deciding plated vs stations, coffee bar, open bar and the food choices, Ashley was 100% on top of everything! It was 1000 times more beautiful in person than in images, we fell in love with every detail, the courtyard, the backyard, the rooms, it was all just so perfect. We used Bill Hansen Catering as the exclusive caterer for our venue (Villa Woodbine). Eden was extremely professional and personable in helping us plan our wedding all the way from DC. She offered lots of helpful suggestions and assisted us with booking vendors (i.e. DJ, lighting, etc.). She listened to what we wanted and made an effort to make our special day perfect. We first heard of/had Bill Hansen last year at my sister's wedding... all I ever thought about was their amazing hors'doeuvres. OHMYGOODNESS! They were absolutely delicious! While we did not have the pleasure of having a full, sit-down dinner with Bill Hansen Catering (BHC), we did have the most delicious hors d'oeuvres! My personal favorite was the Petite Jalapeno Corn Muffin w/ Short Rib Ropa Vieja and my husband's was the Smoked Chicken Quesadilla- YUMMY!
