First time ever at a Bill Miller. We are from CA but travel in our RV. Kept seeing Bill Miller, so many locations it must be good. This one always has a long line at the drive through. Although its probably because the inside is closed due to COVID. First, the speaker at the drive through sounds like Charlie Browns teacher. WAH WAH WAH. So we ordered, he's repeating it back to us and we couldn't understand one word. Kept saying what? Still cant understand. So finally my husb says yeah that's right. What else can we do? So naturally we didn't get what we ordered. Reasonably close but still not what we ordered. We got one of the BBQ plates and got it with the incorrect meats. Disappointing as we wanted the ones we ordered. But ok, husb ordered a chopped BBQ sandwich, just the sandwich. Well we got the wrong sandwich and they charged us for a combo. We paid $32.00 for one dinner, a sandwich, and two desserts. Too much for something we didn't want. And it would be near impossible to go through your order to check it. Everything is packaged up really well. And that's a good thing usually. The food was ok, again we are not from TX so we know BBQ here is different than CA. We are ok with that, but it was just ok. Nothing Im going to go back for. The hashbrowns were good those so there's that. Husband said the pecan pie was good. Still cant figure out the attraction. Maybe we got the wrong items. I like Bill Miller's BBQ but this visit is the second time I ordered a marbled Poorboy Plus at this Floresville location and what I received was the burnt/charred end that has a quarter inch of burnt mostly inedible and dry brisket. I wish the meat cutters were well trained like many other businesses such as Texas Pride or Black's. Please take pride in what you serve customers. The Bill Miller company makes too much money to serve what I was served. I'm not saying I'll never eat at Bill Miller but it will be a while before I visit this location and I won't eat the brisket. We get it, you have great food and we want it but what we don't need is to reach retirement age while waiting in your long lines for a simple refill or food for that matter. People use up their entire lunch time just waiting in line or on phone to pick up or order food. Tell your inside people if they are going to offer curbside to answer the phone. It's ridiculous to let a phone ring for 10-15 min before answering it. Open up your dining room and give your laid off employees their job back and put your people back to work. read more

Turkey on my plate had a hard crust dry, hard. 1/2 serving of green beans, cole slaw was out of a bag and little, no seasoning. NO pickles or onions. plastic fork thrown loose in bag, no knife, used to be wrapped. They seem to be living up to the motto, "we don't care, we don't have to", there is no BBQ competition in Floresville! Better luck at your BMiller. read more

We've had the pleasure of eating "to go" at 2 Bill Miller locations so far and we haven't been disappointed yet. Staff has been pleasant, food service fast, prices reasonable and portions are a good size. Food seemed fresh and hot each visit. We ate the beef brisket each time and it was EXTREMELY tender and tasty. Sides were tasty. Being a tater fan I have to say that the hash browns are really yummy! I am not a fan of this place at all. I've heard Bill Miller praises for a while and decided to try it out finally. The bbq sauce was watery and had a ketchup flavor. Not good at all. They didn't serve bread with the meal, I've never been to a bbq place that didn't include a slice of bread. The sweet tea was supposed to be amazing, but tasted sour. Worst experience ever at any Bill Miller. Took my 80 year old father out for lunch from the VA home. He wanted a chopped Bbq sandwich but didn't want to go in and have to get in and out of wheel chair, so we went through Drive through. There were maybe 4 cars ahead of us. We finally ordered and waited til our turn at window. At the window we were told that credit card machine went down and the lady asked if I could pay cash. My bill was $16 and I only had $4 cash. I told her no, I only had cards. She said I'm sorry... I said , well you just need to give it to me. She got her manager and I was told that they couldn't give everyone free food. Unfortunately there aren't many choices in Floresville so we continue to come here even though the service is getting increasingly poor every time we go. For example, our order is usually never right and it's usually missing an item that was ordered. I went to pick up breakfast this morning and got a taco that barely had anything in it.
