I recently proposed an exterior project and he quoted me $11700 in the beginning but later promtly reduced to $7500 because another 5-star vendor offered $6600 to do the project. I tried to negotiate a $6800-$7000 price to still perform the project with Miller Precision Painting but he rudely rejected with strong emotion. Based on my simple math calculation, he likely over-charged me by 36%. Also, Mr. Miller is just so arrogant during the whole communication process. I invited him over three times to meet in person but he never showed up as the appointments were. I am guessing it is because I have a foreigner face here and he never took me seriously. Overall, I have no problem with the quality of service provided. But the pricing and the communication needs to strongly improve.

He claimed that the rain prevented him from finishing, though I am certain that there were at least a few days of dry weather between the start of work and when I forced him to provide a partial refund NINE MONTHS LATER in May of 2021! I hired someone to finish the installation of 26 feet of edging who completed it within 3 days of contacting them and in only 1 1/2 hours. Additionally, his worker butchered 6 bushes when trimming them that will have to be replaced because they were trimmed back to the wood of the plant. Elmer is full of excuses for poor and incomplete work. If he responds to this review, he will likely claim that I am somehow at fault or have unreasonable expectations in spite of me paying him in full and waiting 9 months for him to finish the job -- both quite generous. While the quoted price may be attractive, the work is horrible and you need to remember that you get what you pay for! Avoid if at all possible! P.S. Please be aware that one of the glowing reviews (by Elmer R) is from the owner himself. This is simply validation of the ethical challenges that he possesses in spite of presenting himself as a person of faith.
