This is the ONLY TIRE BUSINESS I WOULD EVERY GO for tires. THE VERY BEST! The manager Franky is a great and TALENTED and HONEST MAN! We went to have a flat tire repaired at another location down the street (west). They tried to Screw us for all kinds of fees hundreds of dollars. Just a flat repair could have cost us thousands of dollars after the bad tire/repair shop was done with us. Franky fixed our vehicle for free in minutes. Franky found the problem that the other shop made when they mounted our wheel. They missed align the wheel when they mounted it. We gave the Bad shop the opportunity to fix the problem and do the right thing but they just wanted to take advantage of us. (We are traveling cross country in our new RV Motorhome). The poor workmanship From The Shop West of Bill Williams. Made our vehicles wheels feel like they were about to fall off the vehicle as we traveled at 50 to 60 miles an hour, after they Fixed our flat tire. When we returned to ask why our vehicle was in such poor condition. The bad guy shop told us we needed all this work all new tires and diagnosis fees of over $175 and more BS. THEY CREATED THE PROBLEM. After incorrectly mounting the wheel. Our vehicle only has 11,000 miles on it from the factory. After all that we are true believers, Bill Williams Tire is the BEST! We were just passing through Fort Stockton to CA and we were early in our journey in a fully packed SUV when my husband found a nail in the tire. They were able to get us in immediately; I sat and chatted with the workers while our tire was worked on and they were incredibly friendly and gave insight on the leg of the trip to El Paso. We had out of state plates on the rental and weren't local, but staff was still super friendly Tire was fixed in no time and it held pressure well for the remainder of our trip. Price was great and the whole thing was probably only about 20min for tire off, fixed, and back on and pressurized. If we ever have to make the trip again, we know to check here for our tire needs. read more

At 7:30 AM, as we were packing up our Fifth Wheel for the day's drive, we noticed the tread was peeling off one of our trailer tires. The clerk at a gas station recommended Bill Williams. We hit a mess of nails and twine about 33 miles from Fort Stockton. At the time, we didn't quiet know how far from a town we were. After driving 35mph on our wounded tire we made it to Fort Stockton. Called progressive, they put on the donut/spare, and recommended we get it replaced. After a very restful night at the local Fairfield Marriott, we found McKissack Tire Co. Even after the one negative review we still went. Howard told us they had our tire in stock. Quoted us $110 plus tax. I'm writing this review real quick because they are almost done and we have to get going. I would highly recommend this tire shop if you have the need. The staff seemed really friendly and I didn't feel taken advantaged. Tires run about $100 for our SUV, and that's what we paid. It's a little old timey but I think it adds to the charm. :) read more

After watching them take 4 drop-ins ahead of me, I asked how long it might be before they could even test drive my truck...the guy said they were "catching up" and explained that they needed to keep repairing tires as they came in, even though I'd explained my issue and inquired about whether it was the sort of repair they did when I arrived, as they opened. I asked if they had any idea when they might even look at my truck, he said soon, but finally admitted they weren't going to look at it any time soon and suggested I take my business elsewhere. The owner is the worst person I have ever met in my life. I had a flat tire on I10 while driving from Austin to Tucson and got off at Fort Stockton to get it repaired. The shop I was getting it repaired 2 blocks McKissack Tire company did not have the tire for my Nissan Rogue so they called these guys and when I went to get the tire the owner told me that it would be $230 for the tire (with discount- according to him). I checked online and found out that the exact same tire sells for $140 everywhere. When I told him that he was way overpriced the guy got mad and tore up the bill of sale and told me to get out of his store and buy the tire from wherever I can get......he was just trying to screw me since he knew it was a rare size and I won't find it anywhere close by. I finally drive 80miles to Odessa, Tx on the spare tire and found a really nice gentleman Geff at the Firestone dealership who stayed 45 mins beyond his closing time to fix my car. I would say DONT EVER GO TO McKISSACK TIRE COMPANY IF THERE IS ANY WAY NOT TO SEE THAT GUYS FACE. read more

Worst business ever, the boss is completely incompetent and unpleasant to do business with. the only reason I had to go here was they were the only ones in town that had the equipment to handle the wheels and tires on my 850hp car. I told them several times to only use stick on weights, they didn't, and scarred my forged wheels with hammer on weights. On top of the terrible service they charged me $150 to mount and balanced four tires! Word from the wise; take your business elsewhere! read more

BEWARE OF DEALINGS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!! Yesterday my husband blew two rear truck tires and I called these people to go 8 miles to the 253 mile marker west of Fort Stockton. The man was told by both me (on the phone) and the driver hauling the other half of his moblie home(in person at their shop) that we neede two truck tires. The man went out there with two trailer tires thatn were recapps and worth around $100.00 each and he charged us $700.00 for those tires and another $400.00 for his 16 mile round trip road call for a total of $1,144.52. I am disputing those charges with my credit card company and also going to the Texas Attorney General over this man's BLANTANT GOUIGING OF A DRIVER BROKE DOWN ON THE ROAD IN TROUBLE!!!!! We blew a tire on I-10 about 16 miles west of Fort Stockton. We called ahead and found that McKissack is the only goodyear dealer there. They did not have our particular tire but did have a comparable premium tire in our size. They gave us a fair price and the guys took a late lunch hour to get us out quickly and back on the road. read more

The service manager tried to take advantage of my misfortunes while traveling. I had a tread separation on IH10 and pulled into his shop for a tire replacement. He only had a BFGoodrich in my size and said the price - take or leave it- $300. A quick search of local tires back home in Austin, Tx the same tire average 176 - 199. I drove 2 hours to purchase a set of tires. I was told by the manager that they were on sale. The manager also sold me steel valve stems for extra. My bill was approximately $750.00. I paid and went home. By the time I got home, I had 19 psi in the drivers front tire and 23 psi in the passenger front tire. The back tires were various psi level. My husband checked the tires and found that all 4 steel valve stems were not screwed in tightly thus causing air loss. He screwed them in and found out the valve stems were too short to air up with our air compressor. As we live, 25 miles from any town; I used my emergency air compressor to air them up as much as possible. I burned it out. By this time, my husband and I were both really pissed. I called McKissack and spoke with the manager that sold me the tires and explained my issues. He acted as if it never happened before and he did not display any remorse or concern. He told me to bring the car in and he would fix it. I explained to him again that I lived 2 hours, one way away and was not about to take another day off work, gas, time to come to his store. He told me to buy valve stem extensions, I told him for $750, there was no reason that I had to pay another penny for his mistakes. He offered no other conclusion or satisfaction to my issues so I hung up. Three weeks later, I am still airing up the tires at my place of work at least once a week! Something else is obviously wrong so when I make a trip to his store; he will definitely see me! I will never buy tires there again! read more
