First off, I'll start by saying the only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because they didn't have a broad selection of decks in my size. However, Andy was wonderful. He politely answered all my questions, gave me a great run down on the different packages (I was building my first skateboard) and he built my deck on the spot - made sure it was just right for this future shredder. He even joked about buying my first skate shoes :') If you're considering a skateboard, a longboard, or even a Penny board.. Andy over at Billabong is your guy!! read more

Amazing Manager! Very helpful! Knew everything that there is to know about skateboards, unbiased. Slightly Pricy but worth it! Very good place to buy skateboard. read more

Took the defective rod back next day (72 hours after purchase) and asked to trade in for a different non-Daiwa rod. They refused and told me to call Daiwa for a warranty rod. Was actually a fan of JD until this happened. I'm headed back to Crook and Crook for my tackle needs, they sold me a sweet Proteus XH. No more JD for this former customer. Not nice to treat a loyal customer like that! Would have doubled my spend on the replacement rod!
