Do not get these guys to tow anything cause not only did they mess up our satellite on our bus but they did not tie up the drive shaft right and ruined the drive shaft on our bus. Not to mention the driver scrapped the front plastic bump and caused it to come off going down the road. Then the diver wanted to use wire cutters to cut wires and would not help me to put the bumper back on the bus. I had to put it back on while in the middle of a two lane Hwy and use duck tape to hold it on tell I got to the shop it was being towed to. read more

They had an online listing for a bumper cover that stated it had 0 damage. I live 3 hours away and called to confirm they had the part and that it was undamaged. I was assured it was undamaged and worth my time to drive there. After a 3 hour drive they proceeded to show me a cracked and deeply scratched bumper cover and claimed they just discovered the damage. Very unprofessional and deceptive business practice. I recommend you find another company with honest employees. read more

I ordered a part from these guys on 1/16/18. They said they would FedEx it that afternoon. I should have had the part the next day. It's now 9 days later, and still no part. Every time I tried to get a FedEx tracking number they said they'd call right back. Approx. 30 phone calls later.....no part, no tracking number. Now they say they're going to issue a refund because the pack and ship company they contracted lost the part.......TWICE! Wonder how many days and phone calls that will take. Would I recommend this company to a friend? I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy! BTW I'd like to deduct a star from the one star rating I gave them. read more

If I could give a LOWER rating I would. Bought a engine they said was " great engine"! When i had it delivered to my mechanic they called to say they KNEW it was junk by looking at it. The wiring harness was cut in SIX places and the exhaust manifold bolts were BROKEN off. But of course when asked about it over the phone they just said "if you dont like it/ want it bring it back and well charge you a re stocking fee....THAT THEY SAID THEY HAD NO IDEA WHAT IT WOULD BE UNTIL THE ENGINE WAS BROUGHT BACK???? I would caution anyone AGAINST dealing with these shysters. I wasted 595.00 hard earned dollars an a mis represented piece of junk!...BEWARE!! read more

BUYER BEWARE!!! Apparently when you have no intelligence, or formal education and can not get a real job, you become a crooked 'mechanic". WARNING! do NOT have any business dealings with Dellerts Garage in Creve Coeur or (especially) Billie Joe's in Peoria.. customer service, common sense and business etiquette are non-existent. Background: I purchased a vehicle from Dellerts, put ~400 miles on the car, and the tranny went out and so did the motor in the drivers side window. I received friendly service when I purchased the vehicle, so I took my car back Dellerts to get the car serviced. Since he had a rebuilt tranny on hand, the owner agreed to only charge me labor (was not expecting so very awesome!). After almost 2 weeks of repeated calls and voicemail's to Dellerts, as well as surprise visits, we received word back that the tranny he hand on hand has water in it, and could not be used. So now, *scrambling* I googled tranny's online, and found one at Billie Jo's Parts Yard and purchased it for $300 on 12/9. I also found a new Mechanic, as I was displeased about the lack of communication from Dellerts. Once he received our vmail that my car would be towed by another mechanic, he put the keys in the vehicle, placed it out front to be towed, and took the plastic off my window. For the next few days, the mechanic had various unsuccessful attempts to tow the car, and it rained and snowed inside (perFUCKT!). At the time of the tranny purchase, Billy Jo's told me the part would be pulled the following Monday (12/12) and they would call me once complete so my mechanic can pick it up. I contacted them on Tuesday to find out no work had been done on Monday because the tractor arm was down - fine, understandable. I contacted on Wednesday to find out, only one man was working the yard and I was on the list of big jobs. I contacted Thursday to find out my tranny still wasn't ready, and they were unable to give a definite time line. After pointing out their unfriendly customer service, lack of communication, and unprofessional business practices, I requested a discount, or some sort of remedy I was told I can get a full refund and take my business elsewhere. Billy Jo's reminded me of what a tweaked out, uncouth, inbreed family would consist of. Conclusion: I will never conduct business with either of the above listed businesses again, and neither should you. They each are unprofessional, discourteous, and have no perception of anyone else's time. My car has since been towed, the window covered, and the transmission in progress, and hoping this nightmare is OVER! read more

I ordered a auto part off line from Billy Jo's towing. Many had the part but they were the closest to my location and I needed the part asap. That was the 6th of June. Today is July 2 and no part yet. Emailed Billy Jo's 2 or 3 times with no reply. Having to go through Pay Pal to get a refund. I would recommend that everyone stay away from Billy Jo's. They take orders and take the money but have a real problem at sending the parts. read more
