Yesterday my teenage daughter became disabled in one of our vehicles. After trying unsuccessfully with our roadside assistance (review for another time) and getting literally screwed over by another local towing service (two hour wait only to have them cancel on us after that...) we found Dependable Towings listing. Not only did they arrive when they said they would, despite a weekend evening, they called to keep us updated on ETA, were especially professional and so helpful. They were able to get the vehicle out of the street and us on our way. I just wish I had called them first! They will get all my future towing and recovery business. read more

I called to set up a time to have my vehicle towed. They took my information and quoted me a price. The time appointed came and went. When I called them again to see why no one showed up, a different man answered and couldn't locate my information. He asked if I was sure I was calling the right company. When I insisted I had arranged a time, he became more disgruntled and said he would check around then call me back. I had already had to postpone an engagement due to their lapse, and after waiting for his call I decided to call someone else. Without calling to tell me, the rude man showed up to tow my vehicle only a few moments before the second company showed up. He had the audacity to get angry that I had called someone else to clean up his mess. Then, after all this, the price I was charged was nearly twice what I had been quoted. I write this review as I currently wait for the tow driver to return to the car to pick it up and my gf is in the hospital. They were given a 2 hr time window from AAA and decided to wait the full 2 hours. As we sat in a sketchy neighborhood we were rudely told they didn't care about my gf's condition and that if we didn't wait for the driver and instead went to the hospital that they would then have to reschedule the pick up. As I drove her to the hospital in MY car (not the wrecked one) they came and claimed they called us. Now I sit again as the poor driver comes back. DEPENDABLE TOWING? NOT LIKELY. read more

I was VERY pleased with the prompt service I received from Paul at Dependable Towing. Initially I called AAA and they connected me. Paul called immediately to assess the problem with my car and he arrived within 20 minutes. He allowed me to sit in his vehicle with the heat on while he tested and fixed my car in the 20 degree weather. He was courteous, kind and very personable. I have AAA. My battery broke down and this was the company that was contacted to come jump my car. I called at 1130 and was told they'd arrive between 12 and 130. It's now 2:00 and still waiting and they keep giving us excuses. Apparently they decided to go do some other calls first. I have a toddler with me. Dependable? Not even close.
