My family and I love Billie. We followed her from Troy to Edwardsville and wherever she goes next.

The nurse was very nice when I told her I had a swollen throat from an allergy and that normally they treat with steroids to take the swelling down. The NP came in and wanted all these swab tests done. I tried to tell her it was an allergic reaction and it's the same thing that has been happening for 15 years. However, she cut me off and would not listen. They ran tests, which of course all came back negative. She came back in the room and told me it was a virus and had to run it's course. I told her no, it's Pharyngitis from an allergy. She said "Pharyngitis is a virus". Where did she go to school? It's a condition not a virus. I left there with no meds crying because I had a razor blade soar throat. Went to Anderson Express Care. They immediately asked me if I was having trouble breathing because my throat was so swollen. They diagnosed me immediately as an allergic reaction and put me on steroids and told me that if the inflammation did not subside within 24 hours, I needed to go to the hospital. I have been taken by ambulance for this condition before and had to be put on a steroid infusion! The Gateway NP, put my health at risk and had the worst bedside manners. She needs to find another job, because she sure doesn't listen to her patients or care for them.

The aesthetics are unreal, the leather couches and decor are like a country club...This is definitely not a waiting room! And I didn't even wait! I gave my name to Robin, the sweet receptionist, and someone came and whisked me off to my private room. The room was a deep navy color, outfitted with a large, wall mounted tv, nestled amongst other pictures on the wall. A very cool masculine vibe. Even the lounger/exam chair was a deep brown shade. And very comfortable. I came for an IV treatment- see my pics for the plethora of options and customizations...there is definitely something for everyone. And, you can also add on pure oxygen to breathe in during your IV treatment. There are 2 sizes of bags - I chose the smaller one, as I was a virgin. I put on the Bravo channel and relaxed while my IV did it's magic. It was quick, painless, and easy! They really take care of you - checking in on you several times during your treatment and ensuring your comfort. I will definitely be back! Bravo to the savvy owners for bringing customizable IV therapy to the Midwest!
