Old style bar, good food with a personal touch. I eat there time to time breakfast or lunch. Reasonable prices.

The place is a block or two off the main road, in a light industrial area. The building itself looks like an old house. It is very dark in there (disorienting at first) with a long bar and some tables. On Saturday afternoon, it was bumping - there were patrons at the bar and at some tables, and they were having a good time. Everyone here knows everyone else. This is the kind of place that serves Natural Light in a can. I didn't notice any draft beer, just liquor and beer in bottles/cans. Cheap drinks. I was hoping to eat, because the one other review mentioned food (and it was on the sign) but I saw no evidence of food...no one else was eating, there were no menus, etc. I didn't ask about it; had a beer or two, listened to some others chat, watched some basketball, and took off. No one was smoking in here, but you will come out smelling like smoke. It is divey, but there's nothing wrong with it. If divey is what you're into, check it out.

The bartender greeted us as we walked in & made us feel right at home. We found a table & placed our soft drink order. They brought us each a can of soda pop with a glass of ice. My husband didn't want wings so he ordered a 3 topping pizza (pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms). I tried a slice of his pizza & didn't like the canned mushrooms. He liked it though. I ordered 12 hot garlic parmesan wings & they were delicious. The celery & blue cheese with my wings was good. We will definitely eat here again on a Thursday evening for more 50¢ wings.
