Joy, my salesperson, was very…read morehelpful and even found me campgrounds to rest for the evening following the purchase after a long drive to get there. The entire process was efficient and everyone was friendly. Cassandra in finance was great answered all my questions and ensured the process was quick so I could get back on the road. Mark, one of the managers was awesome. He was super friendly and even drove to my campsite the next morning when I experienced an issue with my camper. Talk about customer service and going above and beyond. What a great team! I can't say enough positive things. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an RV.

Here's a tightened, scathing version you can post: (I would give zero stars if possible.) I experienced a textbook bait-and-switch during my purchase, and I brought a friend specifically to witness the signing because something felt off. In the finance office, I was explicitly told that an extended warranty was required for my lender to approve the loan. It was framed as a benefit--"only about $20/month"--without proper disclosure that this was on a 10-year loan. On a $14,700 camper with a $5,000 down payment, I should have financed well under $10,000. Instead, I was sold nearly $5,800 in warranties, separate from GAP coverage (which I actually wanted). That alone should have been a red flag. After taking delivery, I never received a bill from the lender. I had to call Camping World myself--on the day I was leaving for a trip--to find out the original loan had "fallen through." I was pressured to immediately sign new financing documents via email, with the clear implication that failure to do so could require returning the camper. Under extreme time pressure and trusting the dealership to act in good faith, I signed. Only later did I discover additional warranties totaling $2,100 had been added without my consent, which were not present on the original paperwork I signed in person. When I challenged this, I was suddenly told that warranties were "optional," contradicting what I was originally told--and again, I had a witness. I requested refunds for all warranties except GAP. Since September, I have spent four months chasing partial refunds, receiving inconsistent answers, unexplained prorating of warranties I never used, and no clear accounting of what I am still owed. There is absolutely no reasonable justification for a process like this to take months instead of weeks. Communication has been poor, responsibility has been deflected, and resolution has been repeatedly delayed. This purchase was a major personal milestone for me, following serious health challenges and major surgeries. Instead of being treated with basic honesty and professionalism, I was treated like a commission opportunity. Once you drive off the lot, you quickly learn how low you fall on their priority list. I have used the camper only once since purchasing it because the experience left such a sour impression. Please shop elsewhere. If you do choose to work with Camping World, scrutinize every document, never feel rushed, and never assume verbal assurances will be honored. My experience shows exactly what happens when they aren't.

Tori was extremely helpful and patient with all of my newbie questions. She took the time to educate me and provided guidance based on her personal experience. I felt comfortable and confident in making my purchase decision at Carpenter's because they really do treat you like family. After Tori helped me decide which RV best met all my needs, then David took over to explain financing and payment options. He was fair during negotiations and explained everything clearly. An independent local transport Professional- Chris C. (850) 206-6204 delivered my new RV, helped me with leveling/ setup, and even recommended equipment for hookup, hoses, wheel chocks, etc.. Chris went out of his way to make sure I was 100% ready to go before he left. If you are in the market for a new RV/ Camper, I highly recommend Carpenter's and contacting Chris C. after your purchase. 12/10 would recommend and send my family and friends to do business here! A huge thank you for all of your help, support, and guidance!!!

AVOID. SCAMMERS. DAMAGED MY VEHICLE…read more Tech caused damage to my vehicle that forced me to sell it. Never had issues prior to having added work done at Carperter's Campers. Work was extremely overpriced and unprofessional with tape that was drooping on my heat shielding on my exhaust pipe at pick up and hanging wires I had to secure myself. Within a couple of days of picking it up, I had various electrical lights flashing I had never seen before. I called Carpenter's who offered to install MORE issues for more money. I brought it to the dealership who offered extremely pricey diagnostics and repairs worth more than what the vehicle was worth that would have just "undone Carpenter's damage". Contacted Carpenter's Campers management on this issue, they stone walled me and would not compromise for their damages without proof from dealership. All this with less than a week before my move across the country. I tried to contact a lawyer on short notice but ended up selling my previously perfectly drivable vehicle, with overpriced, DAMAGING work from Carpenter's Campers because I had to move, and I could not move this car safely cross country. Do not trust this dealership. They will damage your property with no shame.

We had a very disappointing experience with Cruise America. From the start, staff tried several…read moretimes to get us to sign the paperwork without properly checking the RV, which felt wrong. When we finally received the camper, it was extremely dirty. The floor was sticky and brown, the kitchen drawers left brown residue when touched, and overall the interior was in poor condition--loose drawers, a broken microwave turntable, etc. When we pointed this out, the employee helping us said it was because her colleagues were "lazy," but she made no effort to get the RV cleaned. On top of that, the towels and linens we rented were unacceptable: stained, with yellow marks, burn holes, and even black hairs in the washcloths. We told Cruise America the condition of the RV and linens was unacceptable, but were simply told that no other RVs were available since each customer is pre-assigned a specific vehicle. As we had a long drive ahead and needed to reach our destination before dark, we reluctantly took the RV and ended up buying our own towels and sheets. At drop-off at another location, we again shared our experience, but the response was just "sorry to hear about that," with no attempt to make things right. The lack of cleanliness, the poor state of the RV, the condition of the rented linens, and the dismissive customer service made this an awful experience. It was clear that Cruise America staff simply didn't care. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for RV rentals.

I was told that I could drive to Baton Rouge (5 1/2 hours away) to pick one up. Cruise America did NOTHING to help find a RV locally. After 2 hours I was able to find a smaller one in Enterprise. Picked it up and the NIGHTMARE started! Toilet was leaking after the 1st day. The water in the tank that we tried to shower with was brown. It started raining where we were at and we noticed water at the top of the sleeping cabin- it was LEAKING! As we drove the RV back EARLY because we could no longer use the RV it started leaking inside the cabin on the driver's side and passenger side! The only way to contact ANYONE regarding a concern- complaint is by email and it takes 10-15 days for a response. Once they finally did reach out by email only, they have NO desire to compensate for the disaster of an RV that was rented to us. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!

My wife and I purchased a used 2017 RV with 12,000 miles on August 1, 2025. Before buying, we were…read moretold the RV had gone through an "extensive inspection," and we were charged for that inspection as part of the sale. The unit was sold as‑is, but we were assured it was safe and road‑ready. After only two short trips, we discovered a major safety hazard involving the slide‑out. The bottom of the slide showed rust, grooves, and soft spots. Inside, we found that someone had placed an end table over the damaged area and bolted it to the floor with L‑brackets, preventing anyone from seeing the soft spot. The couch had also been altered -- the legs were removed and the couch was mounted to a wall bracket -- again hiding the rotted floor underneath. When we removed the brackets, my wife nearly fell through the floor. This was not minor wear and tear -- this was a structural failure that posed a real risk of injury. This type of rot does not happen overnight. It should have been caught during any legitimate inspection, especially one we paid for. At minimum, it should not have been concealed behind furniture modifications. When I brought this to the dealership, the first response was simply "as‑is, no warranty," with no concern for the fact that someone could have been seriously hurt. The service contract I purchased also did not cover it. One service employee did send photos to management, but despite multiple calls and three in‑person visits, the GM never returned a single call. The lack of accountability and the complete disregard for a clear safety issue is unacceptable. I'm a local customer, and I expected honesty and basic concern for customer safety. Instead, once the sale was made, the dealership showed no interest in addressing a dangerous condition that should have been identified long before this RV was put on the lot. Buyers deserve transparency and a dealership that takes safety seriously. Based on my experience, that is not what I received.

We were told that everything was ordered or arranged and would be completed in a couple of weeks. We went back a month later and NOTHING was done! I mean nothing! They had not ordered parts or arranged anything. We got very upset after being told earlier in that week that everything would be completed by our pick up on Saturday. When we picked up on Saturday, they were able to go and pick up a part and fix that in a few hours (steering wheel adjustment) and sort of attempt to fix the A/C and replace the broken lights. The A/C was not fixed at all once we got to where we were staying. Communication was awful throughout the whole thing. No calls. No emails. We would call and email with no returns completed. We also continued to find things wrong that they missed during their "inspection". We gave up on them fixing anything though and will be fixing the remaining items ourselves.
