The stories were spooky in the best possible way, beautifully told, and woven with just the right mix of history, mystery, and playful fun. The atmosphere was immersive without ever feeling over-the-top, making the entire evening feel both magical and memorable. Mystic Molly completely stole the show. Her timing, energy, and incredible spooky laugh were next level and had me cracking up -- pure joy! That laugh alone is worth the ride. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does, and that passion shines through every story and interaction. This wasn't just a tour -- it felt like a thoughtfully crafted experience, led by people who truly care about what they're sharing. I'm already planning my next visit and am really hoping to return for their eco tour in the future. If you love history, mystery, great storytelling, and a good laugh, this is an absolute must-do.de

The boat ride is really beautiful. I was surprised by how the sunset on the bayou was so breathtaking. We saw a lot of birds, fish and crabs! The ride the night before saw several alligators but we weren't as lucky?? The boat is a pontoon boat - flat on the bottom and has a covering for shade. Easy to get on/off. Great for all ages. Your tour incudes a drink - beer, soda or water. An hour is the perfect amont of time. Do listen to the guidance to bring a light jacket and bug spray - we didn't really need because there was a nice warm breeze but I can see how both could have been a necessity.

It's filled with beautiful period antiques, some which are familiar to me from my granny's home, that immediately transported me back my childhood. The grounds are beautiful with large Magnolia trees and 120 yr old Live Oak trees with Spanish moss everywhere and there's Azaleas, Hydrangeas and a variety of other plants and shrubs. The grounds all around are meticulously maintained giving the property vibrant look and appeal. Originally it was the home of Charles and Susan Swift and their 11 children, it was purchased in 1976 by Nik Coles. Before his death in 2007, he bequeathed the home to the Baldwin County Historic Development Commission. In 2009 the home was opened to the public and is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. A debt of gratitude is owed to Mr. Nik Coles for his contributions in saving one of the most colorful and outstanding examples of the turn of the century Gulf Coast architecture in our community. The Swift-Coles Historic Home is now open to the public for summer tours. The guided tours leads visitors through the 16 room historic tidewater mansion and grounds to experience how life along the Bon Secour River would have been nearly 100 years ago. There's lots of legends and lore about this place being haunted, many about the deceased displeasure with the renovations. I have been here several times and the last was recently with #1 son and my neighbor Claudine for a late night paranormal investigation with Panhandle Paranormal Group. It indeed was very cool! Bellingrath is not among the gardens giving reciprocal admissions. After we paid, we were given a map and a brief explanation. Many of the garden paths are shady, while others are wide open. There are areas where there are lots of mosquitoes. Sunscreen and bug repellant are recommended for your visit. We enjoyed the water features, bridges, and the beautiful reflections. The so-called Asian-American garden near the end of the tour had some interesting hardscape but wasn't well maintained. The greenhouses were definitely worth a visit. There were lots of plants for sale during our visit. We didn't visit the Bellingrath Home Museum, which had an extra charge. All in all, we got some exercise and saw beautiful scenery during our visit. I'm guessing the gardens will be much nicer beginning in May. Hopefully the roses will be blooming by then.

She came across like an overly dramatic theater kid who couldn't dial it back. Her mannerisms and constant theatrics were cringey, and while maybe one or two stories had potential, the delivery completely ruined them. She would randomly go off on personal tangents (where she lives, her parents, and other irrelevant details) that had absolutely nothing to do with ghosts or vampires and added nothing to the experience. The worst part was her points system, where she'd give out points if people followed instructions or answered questions. For example, when we stayed on the sidewalk instead of walking in the street, she'd shout "10 points!" and point at each person while repeating it. It wasn't quirky or fun, it was just annoying. I wouldn't recommend this tour based on her alone. After our awful experience we tried another company called Nola Ghost Riders and I'd highly recommend them. They are located at the Voodoo Lounge off Decatur St, while French Quarter Phantoms is at Voodoo Lounge off Rampart St.

He is a wise man who has lived through so much and he not only witnessed things but takes action to make right what is wrong. I was so impressed with his bravery and the many ways he initiated change for good. He defines terms for you (like how a Creole person is a child born of black and white parents). And like another Yelper mentioned, he provides a portfolio given to you that accentuates his tour and it's VERY well organized!! It is a very interactive tour and you get to hold very historical items. I won't say what they are so I don't ruin it, but those helped me learn a lot. It produced a strong emotion for me to experience something that was used for evil on precious children and adults. This tour really takes you deep into the mindset of things. Mr. Waters also teaches us about symbolism and how important it was in many aspects! It's about a 2 hour walking tour and I highly recommend bringing enough water (but there are no restroom breaks in between) and a hat. This tour is worth every minute of your time and New Orleans will have a different look to it after you go through it. It's very educational and important to know the history.
