I could say a whole lot worse but out of respect I will only speak facts. My wife and I enjoyed the apartment complex for 5 years and enjoyed the location. The management went through a few transitions and began under Broadstone. When it changed hands to current management, things changed and not in the most positive way. Amenities - events were subpar after changing hands for a few years and then there would be an occasional good event here or there, but most felt forced and more geared toward management desires rather than what residents desired. Pool and hot tub seemed to always have an issue. Clubhouse was always said to be 24 hours in near future, but that never happened. Management - first manager was an absolute a-hole and yelled at my wife in her face when she was only asking a question, this was normal for him and I almost pressed charges. He was later replaced by some woman who never had the time of day for anyone. She was always "too busy working" in her office but isn't communicating and being available for your residents part of your job? She gave us the ick and also the staff, not really there fault except I think some were here family members and she "rules the roust". Vibes were off with them always. Maintanance was known to do drugs while working with residents, also the management and maintenance loved kicking people out of their apartments, changing locks ASAP due to residents not paying on time, which is on the residents, but prided themselves of divying up the furniture and everything else in the apartments amongst themselves. They also locked out resident from their closet that's in the hall of one of the floor for no reason other than they knew they had expensive clothes and items in the closet they wanted. A neighbor witnessed an altercation of this closet ordeal, saying that the renters of the hall closet picked the lock to get their stuff because management was being suspicious of why they even locked them out in the first place. Police were called and sided with the residents, but management listed the neighbor of ours as a witness and called the neighbor, as management was trying to get the neighbor in trouble also. Very very messy. Car broken into three times in 5 years. Cameras seem to never work in catching anyone, and yes a review previously said that this is the nature of living in Phoenix, but unfortunately this is extremely true for this property. Lastly, we have had neighbors and ourselves who moved out and had "extra fees" added to our move out a month after. We all paid our 500$+ fees and was assured that it would closed out of our account and not sent to collections, as feared by reading previous reviews from past residents, but unfortunately we all got calls from collections saying we still owed money. This took a month of back and forth with collections because management and the specific manager didn't want to call collections to right their wrong, because they specifically tried to pocket the money while hoping we would not all fight it and provide proof of the cashiers check and paper trail. We all ended up escalating to property management higher ups and magically it all went away. If you decide to move here, it's a beautiful location, amenities are decent, but management leaves a lot to be desired. I know they will reply and say I'm so sorry that this was your experience, but never apologized to any of us when they intentionally sent us to collections fraudulently even though we all paid on time. We lived here from 2015-2024, and I can comment on many of the changes over those years including how management addressed several of the concerns in other reviews. There was a change in management companies early on and it took a while for the new company to gain control of the issues left behind. They have made many improvements. Stray Cats- no longer an issue. Two residents were feeding stray cats in an effort to actively live trap them, which was conveniently left off of the other posts. They trapped and rehomed over 30 cats from what I recall. I have seen ONE stray in the past 2-3 years. Dog waste- Management changed the turf in common areas and placed "no dog" signs on the new turf. They also added turf to the dog run so those trained to use grass had somewhere to go. Some residents are still irresponsible and do not clean up after their dogs. Maintenance crew cleans up each morning M-F but it can get backed up on the weekends depending on how lazy other residents are. Trash- during a brief turnover at the waste management company trash built up in the garbage chutes. This lasted less than one month. Parking- this is an ongoing struggle. It was never an issue early on, but there are just more cars around now. My guess is due to rising rent costs more people are choosing to have a roommate which leads to more cars on site. Highly recommend paying for a designated spot. Common lounge areas- There are two areas, one former wine room turned into a business lounge with desk spaces and another larger Clubhouse. They are beautiful now, but took *years* to finish due to construction delays secondary to COVID. At the time it was frustrating no doubt. Pool/spa- this is an ongoing issue. Both were completely drained and refinished which is the only time they were both shut down for several months. Pool is in great shape but the spa still has issues with chemical balance and heater malfunction. The pool really should be heated starting in April. This is my only complaint from living here. Maintenance delays- I can only comment on our experience. Our AC went out three times in 9 years and we immediately had a temp unit installed by maintenance each time. Main AC repaired within 48 hrs. You have to submit a ticket not just complain to the office staff, so not sure if that accounts for others' maintenance delays. Perhaps we were lucky but we never had other appliance issues or leaks. Police/breakins/thefts- No more late night parties (security on site every weekend) and they have not allowed subleases or professional short term rental companies to come back for YEARS. It was awful, we complained, and they listened. There are still thefts and break-ins from what I am aware. The gates are not 12 feet tall... people jump them. There is only so much you can do to protect yourself. MANY signs are posted saying do not rely on the cameras for protection! And yes, I've been victim to thefts twice in 9 years. We live in the 5th largest city in the US- it's inevitable. Police reports filed and they came to the property and reviewed cameras, conducted interviews, etc. Office staff- Our experience has been nothing but positive, but "do unto others as you would have them do unto you." I have personally witnessed incredibly rude demands by other residents. In summary: nothing is perfect. A lot has changed and so many of the 1 star review complaints have been resolved. Welcome to the Biltmore at Camelback where you'll either have your bike stolen or car broken into. ***This review is based on 3 years to long living there. Dealing with management is like going to the DMV. They airbnb empty apartments to Wanderjaunt but make it very clear they don't allow subleasing when you moved in (so expect randoms and a lot of partying going on). They say they have cameras watching (i.e. the bike room) but of course when something is stolen it's never working. I've seen it all there-- from escorts, arrest for car stealing, drug dealing, someone who just got out of rehab passed out in front of the elevator, homeless people sleeping in the gym and in the cabana, a female tenant being beaten by another tenants boyfriend in the elevator, tenant screaming at 4am down the hall banging on everyone's door, tenants feeding stray cats which at one point we had 20 cats on property, people parking in other peoples paid parking spots, employees smoking on property (leaving cigar butts and beer cans)...all while management does nothing...and you my friend are paying $2000 to rent in a "luxury" complex, ha! Multiple people had contacted the office regarding the stray cat problem as it is in the lease (i.e. section 26; see attached pic). They knew exactly who was feeding the cats and allowed it to go on for a year. At one point, these tenants were feeding stray kittens inside a communal grill (i.e. sanitary issue as stray cats carry infectious diseases regardless of being spayed or neutered--which is what they were doing; catch and release program and why we had 20 cats on property peeing everywhere). Someone complained, management responded with an email (see attached for pic) saying the kittens were removed and been adopted (time stamped at 4pm; see pic). However, that was not the case, management moved the kittens into the tenants apt and got caught moving them back into the grill (see attached for pic of management walking a kitten to the grill time stamped at 5:23pm after email was sent). Management allowed this particular tenant to harass other tenants who complained about the stray cats and spoke as a liaison for the building (again violating terms of the section 26 of the lease and was not employed by management). Not to mention this particular individual had a pitbull but was allowed to keep in the building just like many other pitbull owners in the building. ***Not once did we make that an issue; just note how they manage the property. Also, we got carpet that was stained when we moved in and they never replaced it (they also said they would clean it every year for us when we signed our lease). They ended up charging us to replace the carpet that they were going to take out anyways for wood floors when we left. They tried to justify the added cost because of our dog. ***Also, make sure you find out what all other charges they craft up before you leave because they have no problem sending you to collections and not telling you they did that. This has been true for ALL of my friends who I still remain friends with who have also had a bad experience living there. ***They also charged us for a water leak and tried to cover it up by saying people are staying home more and using the water. This was confirmed when I called the water company myself as to why my bill for water was almost $200 when it always has been $40. I could go on and on about how terrible this place was but I'm sure you get the point--Don't move here!!! UPDATE--I took down the pic of management walking down the kittens to the grill. On top of that they are unresponsive but the min you need something they don't respond. I wish I had bettter help then Giovanni cus she never responds even when you are trying to be helpful. This place is a major disappointment and a total disaster. This was ideal location given my work in the next door building, and these people will not return a call to get a lease signed. Makes you think if you rent here what type of service you'll get if you actually have an issue with your apartment. I sent multiple emails and left two voicemails in interest to lease a space and they will only get back to you via text to lease an apartment, you will not speak to an actual person on the phone. UPDATE AFTER A MOVE OUT. I am only going out of my way to provide updated review as I would want to know about these things about the properties, if I were to move out or I am thinking about moving in. I moved out of this property in May 2021 after living there for almost 3 years. When I first moved in, it was a great place to live. However, over the years, this place has gone downhill. I have several friends who have recently left the property and they all have had issues with the place as well as being charged after the move out. Previous residents have received the statement with no itemized list of fees although the management claims they have sent out. This first happened to my friend then myself as well when I moved out. Not sure if this is a system issue. I was present at the time of move-out walk through and I was notified for the damage that was done on the side boards of kitchen counter would be approx. $80. What I got in the statement in the mail was $220~. When I called asking for itemized list, and when I got "the copy that was mailed out" via email, it was definitely not the same. Also, I stopped to pay for the fee via check. Well I got a call from debt collecting company stating they did not receive my payment. This also has happened to my friend btw who moved out before me so I was extra cautious. When I got the call from the debt collector, he told me I need to pay otherwise It would damage my credit, so I did then reached out to management who then, reached out to the debt collector company to refund my money as I already had paid. It was a hot mess. Moving out is not a fun process and this just had added on more stress. A few months before I moved out, there was a huge leak somewhere, there was water leaking from the pipes in the garage, and they were working on plumbing outside shortly afterwards. I got charged over $100 for water when I get charged less than $10 monthly otherwise. Management sent out a letter that this was because of the "pandemic", although this made no sense. I actually have a picture of the pipes leaking and the maintenance man acknowledging of a leak somewhere in the building. Not only that, towards the end of living at the place, I have noticed, and heard from my other neighbors week after week that they noticed homeless people staying in the cabana by the pool overnight. It is almost impossible to get a call back from management when I attempted to sign a lease from paying month to month. I was paying $500 extra a month from what I was paying before, on a month to month, they didn't seem to care to help me signing another lease. I called and emailed over 5 times in the course of 1 month period and I got sick of the no answer, and ended up looking into other places around the area. read more

I moved in early in 2020 and initially loved it. The girls who used to work in the leasing office were kind and helpful, the maintenance team is so kind, and it's in a convenient location. However, the last few months have been difficult as a resident. Packages are stolen or are "delivered with proof of signature" (but aren't), and the resident services office refuses to help or assist with the problem. There's been a major renovation project going on for 3 weeks, with no warning. Asking for a timeline to plan work presentations around (some of us are still working from home) results in, again, refusal to take responsibility and blaming it on the company they contracted to do the work. No problem throwing pool parties and social events, but when it comes to helping the residents with issues, don't expect any assistance. Emails are not answered and calls are not returned. I only post a review because I'm hoping maybe someone in management will actually get back to me. If you're thinking of renting here - don't expect great customer service (other than the maintenance team). Sunday woke up and the temperature inside the unit was 93 degrees with the AZ summer heat being 110 degrees. It is now Monday and they have stated they will be in before 4pm. They gave us a different unit and send us the contract. 24 hours before our move They send the a new contract and raised the price 20% from $1700 to $2100. I asked to speak with both manager and assistant manager. Both ladies were extremely condescending, rude and held the I don't give a f*** attitude. They straight up told us 24 hours before our move from California after we had paid the moving company literally "take it or leave it" please look at the ratings before you make decision. Most unprofessional manager and assistant manager in 50 years of my experience. We will be pursuing legal action for this complete and apprent bait and switch. Pure garbage. read more

UPDATE: Camelback has "reached out" to me via this forum in response to my review. While I have contacted management on multiple occasions, there are no changes in response to how they have handled everything. UPDATE - OTHER ISSUES: * Recycling is almost always overflowing and makes the hallways stink. It's poor sanitation and gross. * There are 12 of 19 doorway lights with one or more bulbs out in my HALF of the hallway. * The gym is always out of sanitization wipes for the equipment and dirty marks are left all over the gym and it does not look like it is properly cleaned on a regular basis. * Dogs urinate on the sidewalks and all over the outdoor stairs. There are urine stains everywhere. Management no longer enforces the pet potty area. * The paint outside and inside is chipped and pealing and has not been maintained. * There is rarely enough parking. I was GUARANTEED that there would be enough parking spaces available before I moved in. When I recently asked the office where I should park when the lot is full, they told me that I should buy a parking space BUT there weren't any available for purchase. ORIGINAL POST: I have lived here for over a year, am a quiet, polite, respectful tenant who always pays in advance. Unfortunately this complex has started to go down hill since about October of 2018. I was recently towed in an unmarked area (and have photos to support that it was unmarked). The day that I was towed, I went into the leasing office to calmly discuss what had happened. While at the office I pointed out that there happened to be a vehicle parked near where I was parked at that very moment yet was not being towed, Giovann, the manager, was combative and unhelpful. The next day, there were suddenly new towing zone signs posted in the parking lot (I have photos of before and after the signs were posted). People still continue to park in these areas and not get towed both during and after business hoursAll I wanted is for the towing fee to be reimbursed but have been playing phone tag with Giovann's boss, James, for over a week. I've been here at Broadstone for just under a year now and my opinion has gone from great to I definitely wouldn't recommend. My issues with the building are mostly related to the upkeep and inability to use the common areas due to various reasons. Here is my breakdown: 1. Gym: Yes there is a 24 hour gym but there is no cable (in the gym or anywhere else) and only one treadmill and one elliptical actually work. The gym is rarely cleaned, the towel service is hit and miss, and it is a MILLION degrees. If you like working out in a sauna then you'll be fine, if you're like the rest of us normal humans, you'll be insanely uncomfortable. Did I mention the fans don't work either so you'll be in stagnant hot, sweaty air? Just plan on adding a gym membership to your monthly expenses. 2. Pool: Yes, it's a beautiful pool but its often cloudy and unclean. There is something off with the chemicals and it hasn't been addressed; same thing with the hot tub. The pool also was heated up to 90 when it was regularly in the high 80's this spring which was insanely frustrating to want to enjoy the pool in the spring as it was warming up and climb into a hot bath. Not only that, but when you live here you'll pay for community gas and electric so YOU are paying to overheat the pool against your will for months on end. 3. Wine Room: The wine room is a nice though but the espresso machine they have for use in there and tell you is available will not have beans 50% of the time so you'll walk there to use it and be let down randomly and have to go without your Joe. Also, the wi-fi doesn't work in this room so if you wanted to go out to escape your apartment, watch tv, and surf the internet, you wont be able to. 4. Noise: Children run in the halls and if you aren't on the top floor you WILL hear people above you and they will sounds like elephants. Have fun with that and good luck sleeping through the night. 5. Trash: the garbage by the elevators are continually overflowing and I see them filled over the top about once a day. I don't know what is putting so much garbage in these bins but either management needs to put bigger bins by the doors, monitor the property more closely, or ask residents to use other bins. As it is I feel like I live in the slums whenever I go from the garage to the elevator. I also will see garbage left around the property that is left for weeks. I thought someone would walk the property at least once a day but clearly this isn't happening or I wouldn't see a coke can and protein shake carton in the stairwell for 2 weeks. 6. Community Room: This room is available if the leasing office is open so that means the pool table, gas range, giant TV, etc can only be used from 9 AM to 6 PM Monday-Friday. It's an incredible waste and they will show it to you as if its an amenity but really its a glorified break room for the office staff. 7. Demographic: I hate to say it but they need to screen people better. At the pool the other week a girl who couldn't have been much over 19 showed up with her 17 and pregnant friend and got in the pool and proceeded to curse like a sailor and jabber on about inappropriate events that shouldn't be discussed in public at 3:00 in the afternoon in public. Also, I think there is a family of 5 in the 2 bedroom next to me and people are constantly smoking in the pool and other common areas. Honestly, what needs to happen is someone in the office needs to be in the building and be continually frustrated day in and day out at the continually increasing rate combined with property neglect and lack of upkeep. I love the location and the friends I've made here, but it is honestly one of the most frustrating places I've ever lived. There is a group of us that have lived here for a decent amount of time and have been good residents and we have received no appreciation or seen any attempt to keep us here. Renewal rates to re-sign are higher than other comparable units currently available to the general public and fees keep being added and increased while quality declines. Did I mention the cockroach in my bathroom? If you're looking to get your money's worth, keep looking. Broadstone Camelback needs some time to get it's act together. read more

In an attempt to suppress my negative experience they have taken a very unprofessional approach by reaching out to my employer to silence my review which is against yelp policies and will be reported. My employment and this negative experience at their building are completely unrelated. This not only shines a light on how they do business but also seems like a waste of resources. Instead I would recommend they focused the energy on fixing the root of the problem by taking this opportunity to review and improve their systems and procedures. In addition a dry cough of an employee is a certain sign they should not be engaging with clients or be present on site during a crisis as serious as the corona virus. I don't even know where to start but for the price compared to other properties and level of service this place is definitely a 1 STAR. Here's just a few things I've had to deal with in JUST 4 months of living here, the night of moving in I was given the incorrect keys to my apartment and had to wait 2 hours with a loaded truck at 9pm before someone came to let us in temporarily. Followed by my mail box receiving 3-4 other previous tenants mail as well as mine every week and I have mentioned it to the staff more than once. Keep in mind my rent is $1600 plus the amenity charges. I rented a 2 bed 2 bath apartment for this amount and you would expect that 2 people can safely take a shower for 10-15 minutes If need....well good luck with this place. within 15min there is no hot water in the shower and what's the purpose of the roman tub if you want to take a bath on top of that? This issue along with the over sprayed paint all over the toilet and poor repair jobs all around the apartment Biltmore at Camelback just needs to wake up and smell the coffee and make sure it's coffee not your stinky hallways with carpet that looks like it's seen better days and please do not only sit there and take peoples money and smile at them like it's a place called home. I'm not done... my refrigerator door shelf broke once and I've had to repair it twice because the first repair did not withstand a ketchup bottle and other condiments and speaking of the one that broke and made a mess....it goes on like I said. I want to make sure the person reading this review PLEASE CALL me @ 602-708-8545. I just hope no one runs into what we have experienced here what so ever and please TAKE YOUR TIME before you sign anything and read these reviews. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and I regret it. I have a level 1 apartment and for that reason did I mention during the colder months your floor is attached to the parking below and it never get's warm... yes it's ice cold if you walk around with no shoes. Parking is a mess and PLEASE believe me when I tell you this. I've never moved to a complex that does not at least give you one covered parking. Not at Biltmore of Camelback because you must have a bunch of cheap greedy owners that want to make money on the parking instead which is a cluster so good luck paying for a spot you MIGHT have when arriving home late at night. This place is sad, I feel bad for the employees which I don't even want to start on but they might want to take a basic customer service course that a Walmart greeter did for some uplifting service for tenants that are paying $1600+ a month to live at Biltmore of Camelback. Not being rude to the people that come to visit you or let alone have a girlfriend that is disrespected unless she is with me. Yes sorry I did not email you to authorize her to pick up a package but you have seen us together plenty of time and she did not need to be treated like scum. Your actions are very poor and need to be dealt with professionally. The pool is nice but I've never had the chance to use it and the gym just is out dated. My brother lives at Citrine and I should of joined him rather then being stubborn and wanting to live across the street from the Biltmore shopping...I regret it. Please find it in you to CALL ME 602-708-8545 when reading this. I'm not upset or angry, I just don't like people taking advantage of people. I got hit with 2 months plus my last 30 days to break the lease. $5,000 and some change to leave this place that doesn't deserve $1 of anyone's money. Lived here for two years to mixed results. -Parking situation is terrible. (They tried to tow me multiple times because I work from home and don't use it much so it would sit in the same spot.) - AC in my part of the hallway was broken/off for over a year so it made it harder to keep our apartment cool. - The "putting green" became a glorified dog toilet. -Any time you had a problem you would have to contact the office MULTIPLE times or else nothing would happen and or they would forget. However the worst part came after we moved out. The office claimed we never took our name off the SRP account for the apartment. Which we did (once again you need to double check everything with these people). And surprise surprise over a month later we have a $150 outstanding bill from SRP. In an apartment we left with nothing on except the fridge. So they not only didn't take us off the account. But they then cranked up the AC in the empty apartment and racked up a huge bill! Even if we were at fault here why didn't they say anything? I didn't hate living here but I would warn anyone looking to rent here that the front office does not have the stuff together and prepared to be frustrated. read more

The place is not well kept and everything breaks in the apartments. You will regret it if you move into this apartment community. They need to get rid of their management staff and fix a million little problems in the apartments and the common areas before this place is a nice place to live in again. I called in to ask about available floor plans but after calling in multiple times through multiple days and getting no response or follow up from messages I was finally able to get ahold of someone who was immediately cold and unenthusiastic. Idk if i just got them on a bad day but all of my questions were responded with "I don't know" "just come in so you can tour". This seems like Managment that just pressures you to come in to sign and I will be definitely be going elsewhere after this circus. read more

I live here and my bike wasn't stolen. Why? Because I keep it locked up. Sure, there's been problems, but the management company stepped up security, increased more automatic locks and key fobs, and even installed them in the elevators. Residents here are awesome and most of us take responsibility for our own actions (like not leaving the gates open, or letting people in we don't know). They have a great pool and spa area (24/7) and I never, ever, ever hear a peep from the neighbors. My only complaint is that I didn't win the free iPad!!! ;-) Highly Recommended. Very disappointing, my 18 year old daughter and I came to view a unit she saw online that's she's considering in the Biltmore area she wanted my opinion since I will be the one financially responsible for the lease. My daughter drove and I didn't have my drivers license. Once it was time to tour I was told the manager Giovone said that I couldn't accompany my daughter because I didn't have an ID. I said I have a photo of my drivers license and passport and was still denied. What's even more ridiculous is that I'm a licensed and very active realtor. I've NEVER heard of such a thing. I understand policy and procedures but my question is at what point does common sense come into play. My daughter went on the tour and was NOT impressed. When this community was Broadstone Camelback, it was fabulous. My fiance and I lived here for one year, and had no complaints about the community during our first 10 months or so. When Pinnacle came in, took over, and the name changed to Biltmore at Camelback, everything went down hill. I can't even keep track of how many staff turned over in the last 8 or so weeks of our lease. Clearly, there was an issue with management, whether at the property or corporate level, and they couldn't keep a similar face in house. Which probably explains all of the issues we've experienced with the leasing consultants since 30 days prior to our move out, and now 30 days since our move out. We received misinformation from various leasing consultants, including one who miscalculated our final rent amount due, and now we're being held responsible for a balance that we were told by the consultant was ZERO prior to move out. Seriously!? The Biltmore at Camelback staff doesn't back up their consultants, and come to find out the one who helped us is no longer with the company, so they can't help us because "she didn't leave any notes". Unbelieveable. I'm still searching for my copy of what she calculated...although 30 days after a move to a new place, not sure if I'll find it. Shouldn't be our responsibility anyway. We've heard several similar complaints from friends in the community who have also since moved out. With all the turnover in that office, leasing agents are bound to make mistakes, leave behind messes (with no intention of cleaning them up), and don't expect to be helped by anyone in the office. This place is such a mess. I wouldn't recommend this community to anyone. You'll spend more time dealing with an unhelpful office staff than you will enjoying the community. We lived in the Biltmore floorplan, two bedroom apartment from Jan 2014 to Jan 2015 on the third floor and paid just over $1800 a month. This was our experience while living there. The Good: Quiet complex, no noise between apartments but we were on a top floor. Gym is spacious with nice equipment. No stairmaster though. Beautiful pool with nice lounge chairs. The new washer and dryer are great (though I wasn't a fan of the front loading washer). New construction so apartment was the first anyone had lived in it. Underground parking was close to our elevator and kept the cars cool. We had a tandem spot and no issues with door dents. Plenty of availability at grills and they worked great near our apartment. Lights and nice seating provided, which isn't always the case at other apartments. Fast service on maintenance calls. Garden tub with nice bathroom fixtures. Quartz countertops looked nice and were durable but showed dirt/water spots. Secure with on site security at night. Location, location, location. Walking to Biltmore Fashion and the AMC dine-in theater was great! Free bike rentals. Lots of event functions. Nice, modern paint color. Bad: Limited storage spaces with small closets and no patio storage. Additional space cost $$$. Guest suite was misrepresented by a former employee - for your guests its $100 a night with 3 night minimum and $50 cleaning fee. When my brother and his girls came to stay it smelled like cat pee. Did I mention the small closets?! The master bedroom was a VERY tight fit for a king bed. The linen closet behind the door was really inconvenient and you had to close the bedroom door to get to it. Gym was hot and the cleaning staff isn't great. No towels sometimes but more were purchased just prior to us leaving. I never saw any other people working out clean the machines or mats once they were done. Pool - wasn't cleaned often and there was always leaves floating around and due to the surrounding buildings, there was no sun after 3pm. Clubhouse rental was $100 an hour and price had also been misrepresented by the same former employee. Additional rent fees with community power and gas was an extra $80 a month tacked onto our already expensive rent. Pool fountains were beautiful but were on at random times. 3rd floor is hot and the oven heats up whole apartment when in use. High utilities for 884sq feet. Laminate Wood Floors never looked clean, light berber carpet shows dirt easily. No good gym in the area if you need more equipment. Paint is flat and shows marks easily and leaves marks when trying to clean the walls. $200 moving out fees so only received back $100 of deposit. They make you pay to repaint the apartment. Expensive rent. Overall, it's one of the best places to live in the Biltmore area. While I miss certain things about the apartment, I ultimately don't miss the high rent payment and the small sq footage. read more

We just moved to Broadstone Camelback in the Biltmore-area (across from Biltmore Fashion), and it is great! We were one of the first to move into the newly-built building, and feel so lucky! We have the Biltmore 2-bedroom model on the 3rd floor, with a lovely pool view, and although apparently pricey for Phoenix (we pay about $1700), we feel it is a fair price for such a beautiful building. We know all new buildings sort itself over the early months, so some issues we have will probably be fixed (some minor scratches on the floors in our unit from installing appliances and louder air in a bathroom), and this has so far been minimal...staff is super-quick to address too. There is a 2-story gym, equal to top gyms in LA where I am from. The pool is a bit on the smaller side, but the fountains, neat lighting, and ample cushioned lounge chairs make up for it. Cabanas have flat-screens, fans and beautiful furniture free for use by any. A putting green and a fire place outdoors are still being built (as is half the complex!). Units have some high-end features, like Moen fixtures and fairly good appliances, but then there is somewhat lower-grade carpet...and faux-wood floors...so it is a trade-off. Units present well though, and have clean-lines, look modern, and look upgraded at least...it is, after all, an apartment. Staff is really friendly, especially Ricky the Assistant Manager, and Danielle in Leasing. I strongly urge you to visit if you are in the market for an upscale apartment complex... read more
