The Biltmore at Camelback was definitely home sweet home for the year that my boyfriend and I spent here! Whether it was the staff, facilities, or great events that would be put together, there was always thought and care behind our experience. In the year that we lived in this community, there was an Oktoberfest, wine and appetizers evening, movie night, and then there are the other continual events like yoga and cooking classes! If you are an animal lover, this is also an amazing place for your pup to call home. There is a dog park, dog of the month, and even some treats in the front office! Our apartment itself was also fantastic. We had views right to the Biltmore Shopping Center and Piestewa Peak! Being in such a central location also made it convenient to have great date nights. You are within a 5-minute walk of fantastic dining options, the movie theatre, and you can even take one of the community bikes that Biltmore at Camelback offers to a slightly further destination like brunch in Arcadia. The facilities were fantastic as well. We did not feel like we needed to pay for an extra gym membership while we lived here, as the facilities are clean, modern, and accommodating. The pool is beautiful. We spent many nights using one of the grills and sitting by a cabana to enjoy the evening. Thank you so much to all of the staff that made our experience so wonderful! While I have only lived on the property for a short time this place has been nothing but perfect! I have worked closely with Giovann throughout the entire process for about 4 months before my actual move in date! I see that there have been a few negative reviews, but thought I would post my experience to let potential tenants know that the apartments can be pretty great. When I first toured the place in 2019, I recall not being impressed with the upkeep of the some of the apartments that I saw. However, upon leaving my last previous apartment at another complex, I decided to look at this place to give it a second chance (even after having reserved a place at Citrine). I am very happy that I did. The apartment I moved into has a wonderful view, new carpet and new paint throughout (in addition to a brand new stove and microwave). For a two bedroom, the rent is pretty affordable. The few paint scratches I found were quickly addressed by the maintenance workers after I put in a work order. The walls also must be pretty solid, because I never hear my neighbors (that was NOT the case at my last complex in the Arcadia area). I have found the front desk staff to be pretty accommodating. There is no shortage of locked doors that require use of a key fob, which I appreciate. It makes the building feel pretty secure (even though this area is already pretty safe anyway). I will say that the carpet in the hallways is aging and could be replaced, although it is my understanding that management is currently in the process of refreshing the hallway trims (they certainly have given us email updates about the schedule). The proximity to the Biltmore Fashion Park and the AMC theaters has been wonderful. I love strolling back into the quiet of this complex in the evening. The parking is somewhat crowded during weekends, but it has not been a problem for me at all. I would recommend making sure you tour the exact apartment you are considering (rather than simply relying on the model). Disappointed in the unprofessional demeanor of the staff. In addition the building, while in a nice part of town, did not live up to my expectations as a potential renter. Lived here for 3 years and absolutely loved it. Folks of all ages, plenty of people to meet, great facilities. My experience with the staff was really positive. For me they were responsive, quickly got things fixed, and just nice to chat with while getting my morning coffee. For some reason people don't use the pool or outdoor TV's that much so it feels like you have it all to yourself. My place had a spiral staircase and open windows with lots of light. This is the best place I have lived in since being in Arizona. I love the apartment, pool, gym. The location is great. The staff has been nothing but helpful. I worked with Giovann when I started looking here and she was AMAZING. I will probably stay here until I buy a house or move out of state. I have no complaints about the apartment complex or the service they provide. I have referred 2 friends here in less than a few months and both have moved in and love it. Absolutely horrible management of property, property management is completely inept at running the property . Most importantly, they are absolutely unreasonable with regard to rent increases. After getting a good rate on my initial lease, at the time of my renewal they have tried to raise the rent by more than 15%, claiming that this was now "market value" for the property--and we're unwilling to negotiate. I have no issue paying a reasonable rent increase, but it can be called nothing else but a bait and switch to have these practices consistently and prey on people not wanting to go through the hassle of moving. I live here currently. When I tell people I live here they are like "OooOooh that place is super nice!" And I'm usually like "Ya it's ok." Here are 10 reasons why. 1. This place was bought by Alliance recently. And the woman who manages for Alliance, or whatever, is a b-word. I asked for her manager's number...she gave me a number and smugly replied "You can try calling this number but it will probably be me who answers since I'm the manager." 2. It is very safe, but to the point where it is difficult to get around the complex. If you have a friend over, and she's ready to leave, you have to walk her to the front gate and scan her out with your fob. The gate requires a fob scan both coming in and exiting. Coming in, I get. Exiting, I do not. 3. The doors are unnecessarily heavy. Like every door. Like the door to the trash chute. The door to the stairwell. If your arms are full of stuff, you will not be able to open the door. You must set your stuff down. Open the door. Hold the door open with your foot/butt. Scoot stuff in. Pick stuff up. Proceed to next heavy door. This is a petty argument I'm sure but it just annoys me every freaking day. 4. Personal trainers in the gym. There are personal trainers who don't live here, but who train residents here, which is all good and well, until their client leaves and they come up to other residents in the gym, trying to acquire them as clients. 5. Poorly designed closets. I have to walk into my closet and close the door behind me to retrieve most of my clothing. Luckily I am 5'0". Anyone bigger than me would find these closets useless. The closet door also hits my clothing when opening/closing the door, knocking my hangers off the bar each time. 6. The vinyl faux wood floor peels up at the corners. 7. The draw fronts in the kitchen fall off. The kitchen looks super nice but it is pretty cheaply made. 8. There are a ton of dogs that live here, so the stairwells are filled with dog hair. Also, someone let their dog shit in the stairwell and it sat there all day until someone cleaned it up. Who lets their dog shit in the stairwell? In 100 degree weather, no less. 9. Maintenance of the facility is slow. One of the TVs in a common area has been broken since I moved here 9 months ago. The lights at the grill are broken. Two out of the four treadmills don't work. The exit gate sensor was broken a few months ago and it took over 2 weeks to fix. 10. The parking spaces are extremely tiny. Everyone who lives here has scratches/dents on the side of their car from being brushed by others. I got hit and run here when I was on vacation, came home to a dented door. A lot of assholes who live here and drive Jeeps, Suburbans, etc. park in the compact spots which is also annoying. This place isn't the absolute worst (it is across from Saks for fucks sake), but it is definitely overpriced for what you get and I am quite looking forward to my lease ending. read more

Best place I've lived so far. Best location, really close to my favorite restaurants. I shopped around the area for other places, and was surprised at what I got for my buck here. The other apartments around felt like dorms in comparison. Staff is very attentive and friendly. I can be high maintenance but I'm comfortable and happy here. I feel safe when I walk around, its clean. I like to cook so the gas cooktop is a nice bonus. read more

Run away... Far, far away! Since the day I moved in NOTHING has worked right. From over flowing toilets backed up by a neighbor (literally poop floating in my apt for 2 days until they fixed an overflowing, clogged toilet) to the staff "accidentally" giving a cleaning crew my key without my permission! Came home from a biz trip to find my apt re-arranged by a cleaning crew I never hired. Furious! I've been locked out of my apt because of key fob issues (endless!!!!!). Literally locked in the stairway and behind gates because the fobs randomly stop working. It took the staff THREE MONTHS and 4 requests to get my washing machine positioned so I could open the soap drawer (it's stacked in a closest). My fire alarm went off when the office complex next to the apts went off... Yep... Scary! The gym does not have towels or wipes - the equipment does not work (2 out of 5 treadmills and 2 ellipticals work)and there's NO WAY anyone has ever cleaned the equipment... It's sickening! It's bad. Nothing works right and the staff gets attitude when I complain. Too damned expensive to have all this crap wrong. By the way... I travel for work 90%. I've been here maybe 25 nights in 6 months and all this has gone wrong. The place is a shithole. Did I mention the scorpion I found in my toilet last week? Look elsewhere. read more

Safe not so much, got a $2000 mountain bike stolen from the gated community in underground parking...weird right. Supposedly they have surveillance cameras in the underground parking but so far they have not been able to give us any recordings. Location is everything, and when you're looking to live in the heart of Phoenix, this is the spot for you! Nearly 15 minutes to any part of the valley, convenient freeway access, and plenty to do around! Grocery stores two blocks either direction, entertainment venues across the street, world famous shopping, and dining just a walk under the tunnel and you're there! 24 Hour pool AND fitness center are top notch, you're sure to make friends living here. I'm coming close to my year lease expiring...THANK GOD!! If I could give negative stars I would. There have been so many problems I just don't know where to start. My apartment was neither clean (pubic hair in the bathroom) or close to being "move in ready". They wouldn't let me do a final walk through until my moving truck was already there. I had a broken patio door, destroyed bar/counter top, doors that still don't work properly, hardware that fell off if you brushed it with your finger, dirty and severely used carpets. My bathroom drain was clogged with enough hair to make a wig. Did I mention the pubic hair in the bathroom?!? My A/C breaks or short circuits daily! Usually in the middle of the night (I wake up dripping in sweat). The trash inside and outside is always overflowing. Inside trash rooms are filthy with sticky floors (never cleaned!). I find dog poop either in the hallways or elevator at least once a week and it stays there for at least a week. My apartment was rented to someone else two months into my lease!!!!! I still receive their mail! My parking spot has been given away not once, not twice but now THREE times! My rent has either been rejected by the auto pay system or my check lost at least twice! BIG FEES The pool and hot tub are always dirty! Maybe it has to do with the pool parties they like to throw on the weekends which are so loud you have to leave the property for peace and quit. My fob doesn't work more then it does. FYI you need your fob for everything!!! The main elevator is "locked" for move ins all the time. When I complained (I have a handicapped child) I was told "you could use any of the other two elevators" which by the way are not even close to my parking spot or apartment. The management team up until a couple of months ago was run by children and now it's run by morons that want you to do their work for them. At least once a week I get a seriously tacky letter wedged into my door. So to summarize: Apartment rented to other Parking spot- 50/50 Move in ready apartments- laughable Trash rooms gross Dog poop inside Spring break pool parties Can't use pool - questionably sanitary Fobs don't work- or fob system doesn't work...? Does it really matter? A/C - risky bet Incompetent staff I think that sums it up! Too many options these days to waste your money here. Go elsewhere. read more

I lived here for 5 short months before my job took me elsewhere. Best complex I've ever lived in, and I've lived in various apartments over 5 years. The staff was so nice (especially Stacey and Michael!...Sara sometimes wasn't the nicest.) The facilities are nice and well kept, and the location is awesome. Walking distance to Biltmore Fashion Park, cool views of Camelback Mountain (which was my favorite part), and bike ride distance to other stores and restaurants. I miss living here!! If I ever head back to Phoenix, which I really hope happens, Broadstone Camelback is the only place I'll live. Only complaint: parking spaces under the car ports are TINY!! It was always a frustrating experience parking my car. But that's small apples. read more

PROSPECTIVE RENTERS BEWARE: Prices & safety are extremely misleading. The agents won't explain to you the total costs upfront. On top of your base rent & your rental taxes & individual electricity/ gas you will additionally be responsible for "common electricity & gas" which you never know the cost. I've paid 100 plus every month. ALSO-while safety is stressed and video cameras are highlighted as a feature of this community- my car was hit in the parking lot in the middle of the night has thousands of dollars worth of damage in a hit in run-yet I have been requesting video footage to assist with my claim now for over two weeks without avail. So much for safety- God forbid something worse were to happen!? Stay away and don't be misled! read more

Horrible customer service. The rates have increased every year. The restroom in the gym has been out of soap and toilet paper for over a mThe hot tub is literally 60 degrees and it's November. This place is trash, would not recommend living here what so ever. Update: Since Mid March we have not been able to use the gym, pools, grills, or access to any of lounge areas surrounding the pool. That was understandable, however seeing as how those amenities were not available, and we pay for them, I think a prorated rent at least for the month of April would have been nice. I have been to friends apartments who are already allowing full access to the pools, and at least half full capacity to the gyms. We on the other hand are we required to check in with the office, whenever using the pool or gym, and are required to get a wristband first. I will be leaving as soon our lease is up, seeing as how we are being charged pull price for less than full service. read more

I absolutely love this apartment complex. There is a two-level gym that suits all a workout lovers needs including a personal trainer who provides the first session free. Also the pool is fantastic it lights up different colors at night and as he did when it is cold out it has fountains and lounge chairs for Sun Tanning and around the pool are Cabanas that can be private if one draws the curtains and each Cabana contains a flat screen TV and lounge chairs. The lounge area is also a great area. There is a coffee maker that is Keurig and a full fridge as well as a full kitchen where cooking classes are sometimes available. There is also a pool table and a PC computer with a printer that is available to all guests and residents. The only complaint I have is that the areas are close at 6 p.m. which makes it difficult. The decor is wonderful and very modern chic. It is quite expensive but you get what you pay for. read more

Broadstone Camelback is a beautiful brand new complex in the Biltmore area. Pricing is fantastic considering the luxurious area. The amenities speak for themselves: pool, fitness center, restaurants and shopping within walking distance, and a wine lounge (to name a few.) The staff is top notch; Katie was extremely helpful, flexible and accommodating. Corrine and she made the process fast and easy. Morgan was highly informative not only about the complex but about the surrounding area as well. The experience was delightful and I'm looking foward to living here. read more

If you're looking to live in the Arcadia/Biltmore area you will want to look at this property! Every unit is absolutely gorgeous and the location can't be beat. You can walk across the street to the Biltmore Fashion Park or walk seconds to the AMC Esplanade. My boyfriend and I went to look at the property and on the same day we signed a lease because we knew we couldn't find anything better. The pricing is reasonable for the area and the staff are extremely helpful. We move into our unit in about three weeks and can't be more excited! read more

The apartments looked nice from the pictures I saw on Yelp. I am undecided if I want to rent or buy a home and walked in to see what these guys could offer. The leasing agent was cool and told me a lot about the area. I also was shown the gym which isn't fancy but if you need to work out you can make it do. The square footage compared to pricing is something I didn't like and the pool and gym weren't enough to sell me on renting here. Also I asked about pet policy and my question was ignored. read more

I live here and have for 6 months. I am not sure what Hanna S. is spewing. First of all, the property is absolutely beautiful! It's decorated nicely. This small, but meaningful attention to detail is really apparent when you come home after a long, stressful day of work. You just get that welcome home feeling as soon as you arrive. Secondly, the construction is awesome. I am a retired Army Vet with sleeping issues. I am probably the worlds lightest sleeper! So, not being woken up by the noise next door and the noise in the hallway was an important deciding factor for me and I can honestly say that I am able to sleep soundly through the night. I have never, ever, heard noise through the walls. Not a peep! The walls are like 18" thick (I think)... super nice! Thirdly, the parking, the layout, and the amenities are all top notch. You don't have to walk all over creation to find your car and they have security and cameras around the property- peace of mind is important! And lastly-- take it from a resident-- the staff is super friendly...and accommodating. Please don't take my word for it. Stop by yourself. Check out the photos. I have lived at this place since February and do not plan to resign my lease. The maintenance and leasing office staff are terrible, and it's not worth the price you pay for rent. Not only that the "common area maintenance" bill is about $100/month in addition to the rent and nothing ever gets fixed. The hot tub has been broken since MAY (6 MONTHS) and they refuse to fix it. The cabanas have TV's but they do not work. (AND HAVE NOT WORKED SINCE I MOVED IN AT THE BEGINNING OF THE YEAR). Apartments are constantly broken into and things are stolen all the time. and the best part... At one point I'm pretty sure there was a high dollar prostitute working the pool area every day all day long so if you decide to move in just watch out for her. read more

All I can say is W O W! I was extremely impressed with how clean hallways and spacious elevator makes you feel like your living at a resort! The place sells itself really. The gym is perfect and they have yoga there every week! I can already see myself living here for sure.. Sarah was my leasing agent, she showed me around and was extremely educated on the property and super attentive. I felt like I was in super good hands with her. She was very professional and funny at the same time! I really want to rent there! Who doesn't want to live in the Biltmore with a spiral staircase going to your room? So I moved in to Broadstone Camelback on May 11thish...around there. Since then, my ac has broken 3 times. Let's not forget, upon moving in, when I arrived, they did not tidy up the place at all (cleaned the counters, touched up the paints or anything along those lines) even though they had assured me they would. ARIZONA IS NOT A PLACE WHERE ITS OKAY IF YOUR AC IS OUT FOR A WHOLE WEEK. It's one thing after the other with this place. They aren't even courteous enough to allow a pro-rate or anything even though I haven't been able to live in this place functionally since I've moved in. The same poor guy has to come try and fix my ac every time, and it never gets fixed. Ugh I'm so frustrated. For the amount you pay to live here, none of this should be happening. read more

The Biltmore at Camelback has lots of initial appeal: great exercise facility, pool, spa, a spot to lock your bicycles, however, what they fail to tell you is that the pool can't be used because it's ice cold and there is a history of bike theft. We were shocked to find that our bikes were stolen even though they were locked up in the supposedly secure and locked area designated for bikes. The police said bikes had been stolen from this location previously. Management isn't responding to our requests to have camera footage reviewed. If we were to stay, we would pay an additional amount for a garage to keep our bikes there. When we moved in, the glass in our window was broken. It was repaired two weeks later but we had to clean up the mess left by the installers. There isn't much follow up with maintenance. There was glass everywhere. We had to sweep up. The location is good and the Sales team at the entrance are friendly and helpful. At night we need to close our windows because there are several smokers who gather outside in the parking lot. A stronger, more pro active management approach could improve the quality of life at this location. read more

Broadstone on Camelback is a gorgeous community! My fiance and I are moving in at the end of this month and we couldn't be more excited. We have both been in the leasing office numerous times to tour the property and look at different floor plans. Each time we have come by, the leasing staff has been so wonderful and gracious to us. I have never had such a horrible experience trying to rent an apartment. The complex is beautiful but the leasing staff made me decide to live elsewhere. The ladies at the front desk are rude. Not only do they give false information, but they give attitude when you ask for clarification. I learned the leasing staff is everything. I would never recommend anyone to even look into this complex because the leasing agents are horrible. I asked for room dimensions and the MANAGER provided me the incorrect dimensions because she did not realize the dimensions were written in inches not feet. I immediately applied on the information of bigger rooms when in fact, the rooms were the same size as the floor plan they told me was much smaller. How does a property manager not even know how big the floor plans are!?! To top it off, I was given attitude when asked for my deposit and app,ovation fees back. STAY AWAY read more
