Basically the same review as others. This individual (Owner, Brandon Ballard) does not stand by…read moretheir work. Less than 5 months of a new porch build with tinted and stamped concrete (which he sold me on this upgrade) and its already cracking. We tried to contact him several times- He claimed he didnt remember doing our job, then he ghosted us after we provided proof. He does not have a valid business nor a contractors license. I had to pay him directly instead of the actual business. This is all very disappointing bc I was so excited about the beautiful work. All we asked if he could come up and look at the concrete and provide us with a resolution. We were very kind to him and his workers and then we just get ghosted and then blocked on FB when trying to spread word about the lack of response. DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY. I cannot file a BBB complaint bc again... he doesnt have a valid business.

The treads on the steps are wavy and uneven. There are many places where the pitch of the treads is more than 14 degrees, creating a very dangerous slipping and falling danger. The workers drilled holes in my old brick to build their forms, but never filled the holes. No one ever showed up to remove the more than 12' wood forms built for the sidewalk curb or remove the trash from the yard, despite I and my wife calling and texting repeatedly, so I had to do it myself despite my injuries from a recent car wreck where a guy in an F350 ran a red light and t-boned me. Concrete has been smeared on the old brick pillars and the stoop, even though they assured me this would be cleaned. Despite his assurances during weeks of calling and texting that he would return to resolve these problems, he never showed up. He has since stopped responding to any of our messages. We are considering taking him to small claims court to try to recalim at least part of the more than $7,000.00 we paid him so we can at least cover part of the close to $8,000.00 it's going to cost us to have another contractor buts them out and start over. I have lived in my house for more than 30 years and done everything from an expansion, a total kitchen gut and remodel, completely finishing the basement, major back yard construction, and other projects, and have never been as screwed as I was during this job. We tried to be patient and understanding. We are not vindictive people. Even just an apology and an explanation that he didn't have the money to return to us would have sufficed. As it is, I feel like I've been robbed and taken advantage of.
