But Friday morning at about 8:30 am it was picked up, while I had about 8 more hours of loading work. Called Dumpster Depot and manager said that 7 days doesn't mean 7 days and that they can pick it up at any time on that 7th day. Tried discussing the matter and manager said that I was unreasonable in believing that I rented the dumpster for 7 days. Had to rent another dumpster from someone else.

The issue came on pickup... Apparently the container was overloaded and the driver Just dumped the extra trash off the top of the load without ever making a phone call or email from the office stating I needed to correct the problem and they would reschedule the pick up. I sent an email explaining the problem to Katy the office manager and received a phone call from Dave Schiebel the owner the next morning. When I spoke to Dave and asked why there was still trash in my driveway, he informed me that "his is a high paced business and drivers have no time" there are also "very small profit margins" and "there were safety concerns about the load and didn't want to kill anyone on the highway". What I don't understand is why they didn't tarp the load or tell me I needed to fix the problem before they picked up the container. Instead they just dumped trash in my driveway... Dave Schiebel never offered an apology or to clean up my driveway. He said it was my problem to fix. Sorry to say that there are many more projects and my friends with projects that will not be using his service. Pictures attached...

The crew was neat, clean and very careful in removing old furniture out of our house as we prepared for a move. No damage as they took their time carrying items out. Perhaps not the cheapest way to get rid of unwanted goods, but we felt it was worth the expense, and they came in under budget as well. We would use this service again if needed.

When I presented my credit card, as I had told him I would do when I asked for the service, I was informed that there'd be a surcharge for using a credit card. I disputed his doing that because there was no prior notice. No mention of it in the emails we exchanged, no mention on his website, but he was adamant that he was going to charge the fee ($5), even to offering to take the stuff off his truck and call it square. It was worth the $5 to me to not have to deal with getting someone else to remove the junk, but I'll never do business with him again. Surprise extra costs are a very bad way to do business, but Junk Truck operated that way with me.
