It's clear they really care about the future leaders they are molding and they truly WANT to do the work they do. After transferring my daughter here, walking in the halls I heard children laughing for the first time in years. It brought me to tears. These students are genuinely happy at school. It's nothing short of miraculous. This is how school should be. Not the gladiator arena so many schools have become. Thank you. Thank you a thousand times over! Last year as I was a 6th grader kids were making fun of me and my teacher heard and didn't do anything which was in science class. Glad I made the final decision to have my child attend this elementary. The teachers are amazing as I have met and know them first hand and have witnessed them spending their time individually with each student as if it were their own child. I love that I am able to help out with any school activities as well for my own child's classroom. The PTA is awesome here! I love the "no-bully" rule at this elementary, it definitely helps with all children's behavior anywhere on campus. I love this school so much that I make sure to donate to the school, class room, events, etc. I enjoy knowing that they have plenty of supplies for all of the students, not just 1-10, lets share and make it 1-800.

Horrible Staff and teachers are inexperienced and overly harsh on students. It used to be better but most of the good teachers have left. They teach by fear. There are no resources available at the school. You will be paying for outside support and sports if interested. The staff is horrible and treat the students like military soldiers. The kids are not allowed to be children! You will have to pay for everything and don't get a decent education. The recesses are too short and and the kids don't even get one on Wednesday this year. Your child will have to memorize endless prayers in every class (PE, music and art). Homework is over the top here with at least 1.5 hours. My kids were miserable here! So happy we left! A lot of good families have left over the last few years as the school tolerates horrible children to stay (they may go to the office but never removed from the school, tuition is too important to the school). Also Skaggs school is hiding abuse cases, tolerating unacceptable behavior from teachers, the catholic school system in Utah is in trouble and it's apparent. Don't waste your money there are better places (public, private charter options) where your children will be much happier!

No longer a good school, if it ever truly was…read more New administration nearly every year , most of whom lack any of the qualifications to run a school (current admin is a pastor, 1 was an accountant) ). Very limited programs, mediocre academics (but very easy grading (probably to keep up the appearance of what they claim) very stifling/judgmental environment and one of the least Christian behaving communities we've seen. So much bullying among both staff and students and so many kids struggling with their mental health, due in part to the uncaring staff and student body. There is no college counselor (as of our departure) , no properly credentialed school counselor (as of our departure) , no math or reading specialist, no leveled instruction, no music program or instructors, very few elective or Honors/concurrent offerings. Many of the teachers are parents who , likely in order to keep their tuition benefit , flood rating sites to mask the poor reviews over the past several years. We were mislead to believe that there was so much to offer here, but our time here proved otherwise.
